License Validation Failed.
The Simpleton replied to Running With Scissors's topic in Web Hosting Support
The License Validation problem is temporary and I just checked now that the site is back. As for your site, if it's still suspended, open a support ticket with the priority as CRITICAL and explain your problem, and the support staff will take care of it immediately. -
Login Data Incorrect [resolved] ComputingHost (Xisto)
The Simpleton replied to koolazngy94's topic in Web Hosting Support
That's a strange one. Did you try copying and pasting the password from the email instead of typing it out? Sometimes a typo may occur without your notice. Otherwise try using a different browser, or try clearing your cache. This kind of error doesn't appear much though I think someone mentioned it once....keep us updated. -
Sotw #12 - Voting Vote for your favourite
The Simpleton replied to Tramposch's topic in Graphics, Design & Animation
I'm still no expert on judging sigs but I somehow like rvalkass's sig out of the three - it seemed to be perfectly balanced than the other two and the lighting seemed just right too. -
Canada Feels Phone Books Are A Waste Of Paper
The Simpleton replied to The Simpleton's topic in General Discussion
I think the Yellow Pages book is perfectly balanced for both swatting flies and hitting someone. It just takes a little practice -
The majority of Americans may not be bothered about Football in these 4 years but if I'm right there are some clubs and a league present in the US too, which was why David Beckham was hired to play in the US. Anyway I don't know too much about that - so let's live and let live The fans wont stop following the game at any given time.

Flying cars ed be a dream come true for many people who've watched them many times in movies and comics. As you may already know, such cars exist, but they're still experimental and it would take a very long time for them to be ready for the public, and even then their price would be too high. So maybe for another century or so we may not be able to see flying cars totally replacing common cars. Of course, if some astonishing event happens then there might be some change but it's very unlikely that the situation will change anytime soon.

What If Sites Used Im Instead Of Email To Contact?
The Simpleton replied to Baniboy's topic in Science and Technology
Oh, this topic has been brought back to life after two months - oh well, it's an interesting idea to receive notifications through IM and I know FB notifications are very useful and they appear instantly, sometimes before the notification email arrives! If websites were to implement the IM notification system on their own then I guess it wouldn't be a problem, but for the users to find a solution themselves.....I wonder if that's possible. Wouldn't it require access to the site's code first? Otherwise a script might have to be written to automatically send the contents of the email as an IM to yourself. Does such a script exist? It would be cool if it did! -
Piracy Helps To Reduce Movie/music/game/software Prices?
The Simpleton replied to H.O.D's topic in Science and Technology
That is indeed the sort of attitude people have these days and sadly, this builds up to be a chain and everyone ends up doing it with the thought that one person can't make any difference. This "one-person" theory can be seen not only in the case of piracy but also in many other situations in life, where everyone keeps thinking that just one person can't make any difference. The day when they realise that they can indeed make a difference, on that day perhaps the chain will be broken and people will start waking up to the effects of piracy. -
Hello, World! from the guy whose name is written over to the right
The Simpleton replied to Shahrukh's topic in Introductions
Welcome to the forum, Shahrukh! You've got a good-looking site; you just need to fix the insides that's all I hope you have a good time over here and if you have any problem you can open a thread in the relevant forum and one of our members will rush to your help So feel free to go around and make some quality posts. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts! -
Wow you guys, you're really stretching this matter too long. When I read in the first post that I thought it would just be about math and sat out of it, but from your discussions it looks like you slowly drifted back towards the mycent issue again. I hope you resolve this thing soon 'coz it seems to be getting a bit too complicated for everyone!

I would strongly suggest that you stay away from the registry cleaner for now at least, and use it only as a last resort. Try out the other suggestions mentioned before resorting to the registry cleaner, because if you're not careful it can mess up your system even more. So try out the other suggestions before thinking about this.

Mycents Are Not Updating Please help me...
The Simpleton replied to fermin25's topic in Web Hosting Support
These sudden updates are a bit surprising and if everyone is just waiting for the email then we're bound to see some more of these "Not Updating" threads in the future Opaque hasn't spoken in a while about this issue so we just need to watch out for the sudden upgrades!! -
Every classic game out there now has a modern version available. I don't know if you'll find the classic version easily, but you could try sites like http://www.dosgames.com/ or http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ I haven't checked these sites for hangman but there might be some chance that you'll find the old game over there. The newer versions are better looking though so you'll probably enjoy these more!

An introduction thread running so long? After reading through this I felt this thread shouldn't be in this forum in the first case. Oh well...@Unregistered: Our forum doesn't steal anyone's information You might have unintentionally signed up sometime back and that's why your data is still present. We've got hundreds of old members who most probably won't come back any soon, but their data still stays with the forum. So now you can either continue posting (which is a useful thing to do, considering its benefits) or you can disable email notifications and you won't get any doubts of the forum "stealing" your information again! I hope you'll be back posting soon.

Whew, I earned $200,000 in 20 minutes. Oh wait, Farmville coins aren't valid in real world, right?

Wow this game is being talked about a lot on many forums. This topic was started in January and it's been resurrected again now - this shows the game has a large number of fans I'm looking forward to playing it soon although I'm not sure when I can buy it. Is there a trial version available for the game? If I'm not wrong it's from Popcap games and I like that developer a lot - their games are always fun!

Brazil Vs Argentina would indeed have been great to watch and I was expecting the final to be a showdown between these two teams. But it was a shame to watch them leave so early. Brazil was struggling from the beginning but Argentina was in superb form right until they lost. It was a tournament full of upsets and the exit of these two teams was the biggest of them all.

Mycents Are Not Updating Please help me...
The Simpleton replied to fermin25's topic in Web Hosting Support
I agree that the whole update issue has become random. First there was an update in 24 hours and I got an email about it. Later I don't know when the update took place but I didn't receive an email. However, the change was reflected in the forum and also in my Xisto account. So the update is happening regularly, and we just have to look out for it! And fermin, all your posts are surely being accounted for, so don't worry! -
Microsoft Office 2010 - Better Than 2007?
The Simpleton replied to The Simpleton's topic in Software
MS has always been in competition with itself - the same has been happening in the case of XP/Vista/7. It's used to such scenarios and in the end it all just means more profit for the company! There's no great harm too, except for people getting confused on what to buy. I've decided to stay away from the new version entirely, at least for five more years -
Who Lives Longer, Vegetarians Or Non-Vegetarians?
The Simpleton replied to BCD's topic in Health & Fitness
Thank you mahesh for giving a brief glimpse of the veg junk food available here Pav Bhaji, Paani Puri, Cutlees, well I could give a long list of strange-sounding foods which are available for meaningless munching So there's lots of variety and I guess that's why I haven't been tempted to even think about trying non-veg food. I don't know how the situation is in other countries, though. If there is less variety then obviously some people will be tempted to shift to non-veg!
