I think anyone who wants to block anonymous proxies should have the right to do so. Regardless of what other people think about it. After all, a websites content does belong to the owner of that website.If they want to block an anonymous proxy user from accessing their website it is up to them. Thanks for the good news about the heat producing capacity of the incandescent light bulb. I just bought 30 60-Watt incandescent light bulbs for the price of one compact fluorescent light bulb to get me through the winter the coming years. It is now 11 degrees Celcius outside, my house is well isolated. With only one incandescent light bulb, a computer, a TV stand-by, and a refrigirator running, it's a pleasant temperature in here. I might take the trouble to replace the incandescent light bulb with a compact fluorescent light bulb if it gets warmer outside, but in summer one does not need much artificial light anyway. Let's send all compact fluorescent light bulbs to Afrika!

I go to high school pretty much every day. I hear swearing every few seconds. I've been hearing them since I was in 2nd grade. Now I hear it from kindergarteners. Like violence and gore and sex, I've become desensitized to it. It is simply another word to me, unoffensive, and means the same thing as its original meaning. I don't even see why they became offensive in the first place. I don't use them within earshot of older people or people who still get offended by them, as I respect other peoples view as much as mine. However, I will use them in front of a kid. Been using powerdesk for years. I have TC (I like the command bar on powerdesk which I can't figure out if TC does, that is you can add programs to run on a toolbar), but I don't like it as well. Upgraded to xp and the version of PD I have wasn't behaving out, so I took a look at the programs on the list above, and dl accelman it is is quite nice. Haven't figured out if you can add the commands like poerdesk, but it does do tabs, which is one of the things I like about TC. And it is free! Works great with no problem.Goat-reply by Goat

I would probably buy a lot of stuff for my room because I like to decorate my room a lot. I would probably also buy stuff for my friends. One thing I would absolutely love to do with 1 million dollars is take all my friends on a one week vacation. I would rent a gray hound bus for us all to ride on because I just love those things. I would probably take my family and around 10-15 friends to take with me and a few of their parents for chaperones. We would all go to Florida or someplace warm. Something we would do could be hang out at the beach all day. Also we could all go to an amusement park. Then on the weekend we could all get dressed up and go to a really fancy dinner. Also another thing I would like to do if I had 1 million dollars would be to send some place where they really need it and could buy food and stuff for shelter. I could also use it to take a bunch of friends and doctors to a place like Africa and build houses for them and bring them food. Also I could put it all away in a savings account for when I got older that if I had financial troubles I could take a little out or I could use it to pay for my kids when they go to college. Another thing I could use it for would be to build a house, with a pond, a tire swing and horses. Also if I had 1 million dollars I would invest in a business or start my own. SolvedDisable Annoying Information Bar In IeJust installed the IE8 and it have the same problem, among other annoying things. But I just found a solution. 1) Click the X on the right top corner. 2) Go to Start, then Programs, then FIREFOX. 3) All my problems are now fixed. Microsoft must be recruiting some BAD programmers. I also can't see any steps to remove the virus worm from the system itself (not only the USB). The worm infects other USBs through the computer. Although it may be removed from the USB, the computer the flash drive was plugged into, still has the virus and will infect any other USB that is plugged into it.

It worked when I installed it on my BF's computer, and he spent all night downloading things on it. The next day he couldn't get it to work so he asked me to fix it. I have not seen any error messages, but when I try to access the drive it freezes the system. Even stranger, if the ext drive is switched on while the computer is booting, the thing stops at the first splash screen (the one that says "Intel" and "F2 to enter setup", not the Windows XP one) and it refuses to move. I tried accessing the drive in safe mode and it acted exactly the same. I tried deleting the driver while I was in safe mode but the driver didn't show on the list until I turned on the drive, then just clicking on the name of the device froze the system again. I can usually fix things like this but I am at a loss this time. I think I am going to System Restore to before I installed the thing, maybe that will make it reinstall the driver.
