Defragging SuggestionsHow To Defrag MFT, Pagefile etc. On Boot?I use pagedefrag.Exe and ultradefrag.You can try tunexp1.5 . They claim you can get everything in the right places for ultra fast booting.Regarding the pagefile. Just turn it off and delete it. Run your defragmenter program, then turn it back on. Best to do this in Safe Mode (no networking). Less junk running and you get a better defragment.Best way to avoid the hassles is to not have your pagefile controlled by windows. Set both the minimum and maximum sizes to at least the recommended size that Windows claims you need.This will effectively stop pagefile defragmentation, but only if you turn it off and defragment the hard drive first.If your MFT is 99%, then you need to make it bigger and defragment it. Yes, windows will adjust the size, but it usually creates fragments to do that, which can slow things down.You can use the backup utility from windows, burn it to DVD(s), then reformat/reinstall. I know that doing this with a CD is a lot easier (and more universally accepted by 100% of computers) than the following method, but I thought I would throw out the idea. I formatted my computer, but didn't write any data to it (due to a glitch in windows install, don't get me started...). I recovered it with a bootable USB key that attempts to emulate a floppy drive, so it can be booted to (if the bios supports the booting to USB). I know that what we use at work is an HP utility, but I don't have the application to do that or the dos file the HP program requires. Here's the crash course on how this works, and how you CAN NOT create this free hand with Windows Explorer. The computer needs to find a MBR on the drive that you are booting to (like the flash drive) and it needs to have the only partition to be set as the default to boot from. This will just get the computer to look at it, but its useless if there is nothing that the BIOS can use and run anything with. You will need the files to run DOS, which are easiest if you can steal a bootable floppy drive. This isn't an option for most of us, so since this is as far as I can get. It didn't take me long to decide I wanted to do this without stealing things from work. Replying to alzgames there is a certain place you have to go I don't know how to say it. From cj house go all the way down that street till you see a street that leads down to the express way. Next to that streat its a building there and you will see this icon that shows 2 mans. The building is white I think it not all together there are different parts. They are square and you have to jump some fences to get to the 2 player icon. If you cant find just look around thier you will see it.

Without warning Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V just suddenly stopped working on my Dell XPS M1530 laptop. Restarts, system restore didn't help. I am a photographer and I need a php script to run on my web site to stamp user id or mail address of my visitors/members when they download my photos. The watermark source will be text only stating that "This picture was downloaded by (visitors e mail address _ here) from (my site name_here ) " I wish also that this info could be squeezed somewhere in the exif field of the original jpeg photo that can come up upon examination generated on the fly when the file is being packaged with the watermark prior to download starts. Think of it as a similar script like the rapidshare or megaupload download script that masks the actual location of the image on the server so the picture can not be accessed or discovered by a possible google spidered direct link. My motivation on doing this is simply to discourage lamers who re-upload my material and give away for free on bbs and forums without credit where it is due. I want to make it a bit more difficult for them and easier to track them down from the exif. Does anyone have written any code to do this? or have any idea on how to code this I know some php but I am totally nul as far as coding graphics thanks

Laptop powre problemHelp, My Laptop Charger Is Not Working Properlythe laptop I am using is a Toshiba. It appears to run through a cycle of AC Power, Battery, Charging battery. It is quite an old Laptop but works fairly well appart from this problemand being a bit slow. Is it just a charger problem or is there nore to it than that? Would buying a new charger help or will this not solve the problem. I'm not worried about the warrenty as that has long expired. What can I do to fix it?

I recently started going out with this guy, Robbie. We had been friends for a few months and slowly we started spending more and more time together. Then he asked me out and I said yes.We enjoy spending time together and I like being with him, but I really don't think I like him all that much. We're both at university, but I live in an other country and I'm justStudying abroad at this uni for a year. I will have to leave and goBack in a few months time. Trey said he liked me as a friend, because he wasn't thinking of dating rigth now. He also said that in a few months or a year, things could change if he felt like dating then. Basically, I feel like I like Trey a lot and want to be with him, but rigth now he's not ready for that, while with Robbie who's been an absolute sweetheart to me, I don't really feel a spark even though he does everything right and really could be the perfect boyfriend, if only I liked him back as much as he likes me.
