  1. My Name is Miss Miracle Goodwill.

I saw your Profile today at www.knowledgesutra.com and i became intrested in you, and I will also want to know more, I want you to send mail to my email address so I can give you my picture for you to know whom am.I think we can move from here.I am waiting for your mail to my email address (Remember the distance or color does not matter but love matt...

  2. hmmm... I can look that up on my joomla backend, but I don't think it will do much. Mabie I should check the php manual...
  3. yeah when I plug those in I still get the same errors.
  4. hey, I'm making a PHP script that generates an image with random text in it (to prevent spambots), and I need a TTF font to use it, but I'm not sure which ones are on the server. here's the code I need it for if it helps, I'm a linux guy but don't know much about where it looks for it: <?php$font = ".ttf"; // This is the font I need$font_size = 10;$angle = 0;$box = imagettfbbox($font_size, $angle, $font, $_SESSION['rand_code']);$x = (int)($imgX - $box[4]) / 2;$y = (int)($imgY - $box[5]) / 2;imagettftext($image, $font_size, $angle, $x, $y, $text_col, $font, $_SESSION['rand_code']);//then prints out the image?> Oh yeah, and by the way, the live support on Xisto - Web Hosting is terrible.
  5. Well first of all, Saint Michael put WAYYY too much visibility into that brightness filter. You can barely see the render and all of it's eyecandy. I do like that band with the text though. Plus, Saint Michael's seems to be dramatic, and the caption just dosn't match...Hulunes, it's nice! it's got a nice pink background, and a good render with it! it's got a really nice combo with the render and the backdrop, however, the text, border and japanese symbols in the upper-left hand corner stick out, it would have been better if the text was a grey or something like that. Something soft...Well, great job Hulunes, you've got my vote!Hulunes: 6Saint Michael: 2
  6. wow, I haven't done a sig in a while... So, Feast apon me getting back in my groove. EDIT: tweaked the background a bit more so it's more deep and matches the render better
  7. Ok. Let me elaborate. I have waited for my ISP's cache to refresh. I changed the nameservers, waited and now I still get the same old suspended Xisto page... Here's my regular domainname: http://www.hflw.org/ Here's the IP they gave me to access my site: 216.240.157.63/~psych I still get the same old Xisto suspended page. I don't know what it could be, I can log into cpanel when I go to: 216.240.157.63/cpanel So I don't know what it is... Oh yeah, the traceroute utility isn't working on my main linux box, so I'll try it again later...
  8. well, I am happy with how xisto treated my problems on Xisto, now that I'm on Xisto - Web Hosting I will see how they are. I think they should be better, because everyone on Xisto is on gamma, so it crashes alot. Now that I'm on a more exclusive server that nobody will really jack around with, I think it'll be great. Plus, I can transfer all my stuff from Xisto thanks to it being all in the xisto ring. I doubt that xisto will get as high up as a company like 1&1 though. Mabie. I like small hosting companies anyway.
  9. I set up my website about two days ago and had you transfer all my stuff, but I keep getting my old suspended message from when I was at Xisto when I go to my domain name. I even get it with the :IP address you gave me. I kind of need my hosting back on monday for school. My ISP's cache should have refreshed by now, they do it every day or so.
  10. Dude, that's jappened to me loads of times. I use portable firefox all the timeand that's not the only reason I've gotten into trouble. Once it was for using my old cheap MP3 player as a flash key, another time I tried enabling java console because any web application done in jscript was non-functional, I used a CGI proxy for getting past sites that they block but they shouldn't, and numerous other things. One time I fixed the computer and my old computer teacher got mad. I used a live CD with slax on it (linux shrunken down) and that same teacher thought I tinkered with the computer and installed something. To tell you the truth, I would prefer to bring in my laptop for school then using those computers. And all the keyboards are horrible! Have you ever tried to type something at 50 WPM on a half-broken keyboard? That's my typing speed. And I simply can't to it on those keyboards (I'm so used to my laptop keyboard, I need to get out of that habit). At my town's high school, they use macs. I'm happy to hear that because guess what saffari was based on? KDE's Konqueror. (another great linux web browser) It has tabs, just not so popular becuase it's a linux exclusive. But eventually, they will have people bring in their own computers, most people have laptops, they just need to make them so consumer-avalable that everyone can afford one. Look at the $100 dollar laptop idea, that's awsome. I may get one anyway just for the hell of it. So, I don't expect to see this coming soon, but I think it will happen in about 10 years or so.
  11. Hey everyone. It's me, I think I'm kinda active in the forums, so you may know me... I'm leaving Xisto for paid hosting at Xisto - Web Hosting. I plan on still staying active, but I am going to paid hosting. My site has grown way too much. the 150 meg plan was not enough. I was using up too much bandwidth. Plus trap has been down alot in the past 3 months or so. So, I just won't be as active. I'll still be here, just not as often. I'm probably going to focus on gfxtrap though, I signed up for that and havn't really been active. So, I'll still stay around. it's not a complete goodbye. But, I just wish there was more linux forums, I'm a BIG tux fan.Bye!B.J.PS: thanks for the great service after all this time.
  12. ahh, FMA. No way for me to watch total awsomeness. I saw like 2 episodes, and thats it. Oh well...
  13. Ok, so I use mambo for a school site that I made. I decided to install it with fantastico this time sience it had a good rep. Later on down the road, I come across this cross-upgrade thing while installing a new message board. Seemed like a fair thing to do, exept mambo was bought out by joomla. So I click the button, and it removed ALL of my components AND modules, AND mambots. Sure, thhey are still in the database, but my files are gone. I could restore some files from my custom made version of mambo called 'psych_mambo" (its my private mod) but that would take forever, and fix only a part of it. I could also download the old packages and re-install it, but that wouldn't be fun either. I have a backup, but whenever I try to fix it, it stays the same... I wish I knew what to do...
  14. I had the same problem. Exept it was school wide. We had these stupid journals that nobody liked, it got so bad that there were journal burning parties and petitions... wow, I remembered that, it was funSo, I'm not saying to burn your journal, just start a petition. If they bust you, just tell your parents to sue the school or something. But don't just not do them, that'll kill your average. It would be really great if you got everyone in your school to sign it, that would be amazing. Get some adults involved, too and go around knocking on people's doors with your parents. If all else fails, fake it. (lol, ok don't do that)
