Yes... The same thing is happening to me... Thats how I ended up here. Itunes will recognize the ipod as corrupt but when I say Ok to the message saying, you may need to restore the ipod or just try reconnecting it then Itunes no longer recognizes the ipod.. And my computer keeps making the same sound over and over, if you say bee dooop outloud that is what my computer sounds like when I plug my ipod in. Regardless whether Its in disk mode.. Blu-ray disc's being able to hold as much as 30 times what a dvd can hold gives it an edge when programmers write the encryption and encode the video. It gives them more room to fit high definition/resolution video. Although the CD's specs are set to run at a default 600p native resolution. Free and open-source. 7zip is the best cross-platform, free opensource program for archive handling in my humble opinion. Comercially backed standards like .Zip .Rar and .Doc are obsoloeted now by opensource standards but unfortunately many people at home and in the industry still promote ancient methods as far as software is concerened because it's familiar ground that the capatalist standard authorities propigate. The GUI is only 100 Kb compiled and I've added some primitive hardware support for usb and Gigabit Ethernet and draws graphics directly by poking directly to main video memory. It also never uses more than 4 megabytes of ram unless dealing with large graphics in excess of the screen resolution.
