opinion onlyColdfusion Vs. PhpI can't say that I have used php very extensively, but I am a big fan of coldfusion. For me, the big advantage is the time saving. I can accomplish with a single tag what would take 20 or more lines in php or asp, plus it does a lot of other neat little things that are helpful like the pdf comversions, faster form validations, chart rendering, etc. plus, it is faster to learn (at least, I thought it was). just my opinion -reply by mistersender

But if you don't, like me, I just randomly cut trees , and I got to level 60 wc after 2 day, and now I can cut yews, yews now sell for 433gp, if you stack about 1000 of these, then no worries your rich! also, what ever your fav/best skill is train to a realy high level, around 60+ and keep doing it, so if it was mining, then go mine, if its wcing then go woodcut, lol. This not exactly a scam but a question of trust. Basically you trust one web commercecompany and you provide your email and cc details. When that company gives thisinformation to reservation rewards that starts billing you a monthly fee with no authorisationthere are 2 faulty parties, the first web commerce and of course Reservation Rewards.Both should be sued for different reasons. Sure, you can read all the fine print you want, thefact that it exists is just proof of a really sneaky way of ripping people off. What is thenet result of this greedy business parctice: web consumers have been cheated, lied to,their rights stripped and their money taken. Plan on buying anything else on the internet ?

Your instructions seem knowledgeable, although my question is aimed towards, a shared server. I am using IXwebhosting, PHP, MYSQL, all the goodies are installed. My hosting service is Linux based. I wish to install a custom php extension, I cannot access the PHP_DIR or PHP_EXT_DIR, all I can access is the php.Ini,a few other files, and my ftp site. I have tried using the php.Ini to change the PHP_EXT_DIR, and placing my extension there. Then I used the dl(my.Dll); to load my extension, and got errors. My extension is a .Dll file. Does my extension have to be a .So file type for a Linux based server? I'm hoping you can help me learn to install and implement this extension. Thanks

Solaris, Linux, and Wi-FiWhy Solaris Is Different To Other Unix?I like to play with operating systems and see what I canget them to do with the hardware I have. I've used Linux variousversions of: Ubuntu, Mint, Fedora, RedHat, GIS-Knoppix, PC-Linux OS,and more. Didn't know much about Solaris, so I ordered a disk forSolaris 10 from Sun a while back. Installed it on my Dell 1501 AMD 64.Installation worked fine, no real problems other than tri-booting withWindows XP Pro and Linux Mint. Only real issue I had was no Wi-Fisupport, but as noted in a prior post Solaris isn't designed as adesktop operating environment. I found only a couple of posts on-linerelating to this issue, but no resolutions as of yet. So unless I'm mistaken that's a difference between Linux andSolaris; Wi-Fi, but in fairness to Solaris Wi-Fi is not a priority forsuch an operating system. Just think of the strange out of the norm actions you couldaccomplish with Solaris running on a laptop with Wi-Fi capabilities.Well, even if there isn't anything useful to be accomplished I'm stillgoing to attempt it.

I've actually just compared the prices of alienware vs. Dell. With the same specs (as close as the customize options would allow), alienware actually was like 40$ cheaper. So, I'd say alienware would be the way to go.-reply by John Doe

whats wrong with being gothGothsLook at my school I am the only goth. Actually I'm the only goth for a few miles. All my teachers don't care about how I express myself but my math teacher. She hates it. When I walk into class with black make up on her first words to me are "WASH IT OFF"!! She is my 5th period. My 6th peirod teacher is next to my 5th period and of course they talk about how I shouldnt be goth and goths are wrong. I told her I have freedom of expression but she didnt care. If I get a reffural I... Just cant get one. I checked in the student code of conduct and you can wear black make up. She said she wants me to look presentable but it's like who am I presenting too! Man I hate her I wish my teachers would just let me express my self for the true person I am inside. My dad dosnt even agree with it. My mom could care less. Replying to FotoPVISTA SOLUTION (If is matters I'm using a SoundMax sound card) (1) Rt-click speaker in tool bar (2) Select "Recording Devices" (3) Rt-click anywhere in the Sound box that opens up or on any device in the box (4) Check "Show Disabled Devices" (5) Hopefully what you will see is " Stereo Mix SoundMax Integrated Digital HD Audio {your sound card} " with a gray down arrow in a circle. (6) Rt-click this device (7) Select "Enable" (8) At this point any sound recording software that can select input sources should see "Stereo Mix"Hope that helps everyone! PS. She graduated in England with one of her best friends named Mary Lue. After moving back to the states, Mary Lue and my mom accidentally ran into each other and found at that they were living in the same area again! Mary Lue invited my mom over for a sleepover and she agreed. The next morning, Mary Lue goes to take a shower but tells my mom that this guy Scott will be coming over since he helped her with his car. A little while later, there's a knock on the door and my mom answers it. Standing there is my dad, her future husband. He just smiles at her and says, "You're not Mary Lue." and she laughs and says back, "No I'm not." Today is their anniversary! They have had three kids, my brother me and my sister. ByethostI Hate Byethost!I do agree their free webhosting stinks but I have been happy so far with my paid webhosting. If not for them I would not have learned as much as I have about html. Don't get me wrong, I still don't know as much as I would like to but I have learned quite a bit. When I had my first website up they fixed it so it would at least come up when you typed in the web address. Then I rebuilt my website and learned a lot. It was up for almost 6 months but I have since taken it down due to lack of customers. LOL Anyway I am building a new one but I am having to learn a new program because I have had it with windows and gone to Linux. Soon I will have another website up with Byethost. -reply by Christi
