  1. its a good thing Google bought Motorola because they can improve on the Motorola design and not have issues like Apple vs Sammie imagine what would it be like if Sammie and Apple suddenly decide to merge and co-operatively work together?
  2. i believe there will be a time when networking speed will be fast enough that we will go back to the dumb-terminalswe live with it everyday but it isn't powerful and effective enough yet, thats when all we need is a screen while processing is all done on the server!imagine have to watch a movie played from a server somewhere but only fed the display to your screen... and this will be a tablet like device but only as light as a piece of papercloud is still young, with time it will rule the world lol that is until some genius (or company but not apple lol) will come up with something much more awesome
  3. yes they will probably ship to countries who doesn't support the US patenting systems
  4. yip moving to the web and cloud seems logical, there's a green future on web and cloud - google's already got their own going (have been for few years now) with their google docs

  6. if someone came up with an idea first but don't have the finance to patent it, then years later some rich person or company patents that idea, now they own it and the wee original fella gets nothing shouldn't there be some sort of FREE patenting system? like GNU Licencing?

  8. thats why the idea of a smartphone should have been patent by whoever came up with the idea first... that way whoever that person/company was would've been rich as by now
  9. that is if your trick entirely came from your own thoughts and innovations... but let's say your trick was inspired by someone elses... should you entirely be entitled to own that trick? it's really hard define a fine line between inspired and copying... because our development today is based on previous work... we improve on what is already there... so i may improve your trick, tweak it a bit and make it totally different from yours... or i looked at your trick and i created my own version of it and make it funnier should i have the right to patent or copyright it?
  10. quite true, but if you really look into the patented innovations (or so called innovations)... they are quite ridiculous Samsung should drop their Galaxy S III flagship so more could seel in US, it's their best Phone so far and lucky they swayed away from the lool-like-iphone designs
  11. http://money.cnn.com/2012/08/24/technology/apple-samsung-verdict/index.html?cnn=yes&hpt=hp_t1so apples wins and are owed a billion dollars... these patents are quite ridiculous, but i guess Samsung should've been more cautious with their design...
  12. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ another shooting? i've wondered why there is so much shootings these days? depression? psychosis? would this be related to population crisis? or maybe it is time to go back to the basics and show one another that our existence is worth living for and cherishing? heart goes out to the victim and the soul of the evil doer what are your thoughts?
  13. this is crazy http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ this is even crazier:http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ if they sell these outside of chinabut then maybe these products are safer in china due to all these lawsuits about patent infringements going on between manufacturers (apple vs samsung)

  21. quite true... knowing one would be good enough to allow and easier expansion into other languages, and C is a great language for a base start
  22. a lot of new devices coming out, and i notice they all sit on the 1GB RAM... is 1G very sufficient today and the next years to come? just looking at alot of new devices and upcoming ones (especially phones) they seem to be sticking to the 1GB Ram...
