  1. I have two EVGA cards 1. GTX 660 Ti FTW Signature 2 2. GTX 670 (stock reference) I'm going to sell one of these two and keep the other for a gaming rig i'm building but am wondering which one to keep. The GTX 660 Ti runs quieter and cooler...

I'm looking for a simple video editing tool (Haven't worked with any before) for cutting/editing video files What i want to do is simply cut portions within video files (flv/mp4/mkv etc) and then merge the wanted parts together... simply removing unwanted portions from within the video and then rejoin the needed parts cheers

  12. I think one of the factors would be to do with the Network available. Different regions/countries have different types of network systems. I think here in New Zealand we don't have CDMA networks anymore, closed last year. Another could be just a marketing scheme allowing variant options for customers to choose from, and also some phones are a revised version of the previous release adding on few more hardware enhancements/down-grades. Example LTE availability in different versions of the Galaxy lines of devices...
  13. i use to have a 3.5" 5400 rpm hard drive on my PC and i can honestly see noticeable difference when swapping it with a 7200 rpm drive... best way for your laptop is to add/swap with a SSD drive... I have a hybrid drive (semi SSD) and there's a little boost in speed compared to my standard 7200 rpm drive (of the same capacity)
  14. Platform:Linux Mint 15 KDE (just installed and did update & upgrade)I have three network connections -1. Qualcomm Atheros AR8161 Gigabit Ethernet2. Intel Corporation 82557/8/9/0/1 Ethernet Pro 1003. Realtek RTL-8139/8139C/8139C+Problem:When all three are connected to my router (Thomson 4 port ADSL2+ router) i don't have internet, when i remove one, internet access resumes. Tested all combinations including just one connected and they all work. LinuxMint doesn't seem to like it when all three adapters are connected to the routerI know the router and the network adaptors are fine because when i boot into Windows 7 and Crunchbang 11, i can surf the web without an issue...help please

  20. at first it feels weird (ime)... but then once you're use to the wide multi screen its quite nice and you wouldn't wanna go back to playing single screen
  21. Other than adding virtual host directive on sites-available/default <VirtualHost *:80>ServerName http://myDomain.comserveralias/ mydomain.comDocumentRoot /home/user/htdocs/mydomain</VirtualHost> do i need to setup anything on the domains DNS setting for this to work? or is the A Record assignment sufficient? would i need to set some kind of permission on the folder on the server? my understanding of this is that when a http request is made to mydomain.com the DNS server will just throw it my ip and then Apache will handle the rest?? cheers for any help
  22. Yip Mint 15 Olivia is out... and as always another great release from the Mint Devs
