  1. I really don't know... but I believe that iGuest is the public that posts in this forum, because they are a "group" and they've got like, over five thousand posts... however, I had thought that only memebers, moderators and administrators could post on the Xisto forums apart from the Guest forum where everyone can post, so I really don't know how those people that are behind the group iGuest manage to come into our forums and start posting there. We can see that they are actually different posting because there are some threads with iGuest's replying to their own posts, and no one would do that without getting warned if it wasn't in Xisto forums rules... so yeah...
  2. Yeah, I agree with you... and staff that are bad will just corrupt the community... talk about politics, haha... well, if there was corrupt police and a corrupt government, I don't think that people will want to stay in your country anyway... same with websites... if you have a corrupt system with staff that abuses their powers and control people the way they shouldn't be, then people won't stay in your site... And heck!!! It's a million times easier to move websites and go to another one than move countries!!! No fees not whatsoever... so staff should be chosen carefully so a "black mark", as you call it will not be branded on this site. People talk about sites in their own different forums too... so if your sites get popular, you would want a positive comment(s) on your site and how organized it is, not negative comments and how bad it is, do you??? Word spreads fast on the internet... it only requires a click to get it up on the world wide web and nothing can be done about it...
  3. But if you are serious about earning some money, wouldn't it be better to make a site like this yourself??? (And make it legitimate and actually pay your memebers, of course... no one wants to join a scam site...). I'm still searching for ways to make money online... I might start a blog about it and start making my money on from there.... I'll have to make a new thread for that though... don't want to get off topic... I'll make one when I actually have the time to do it. Meanwhile, I'll just continue posting on Xisto and earn some US dollars that can only be used for web hosting... not that I mind!!! I just love Xisto just too much!!!
  4. I have to say that since my phone is like, so ancient and all that I really can't do anything with it but use it as a phone (communication purposes)... though I might say that I DO play games on it, like Snake and only snake because that is like, basically the only game on the phone and I also text people (but only if they text me first) and just use it as a Phone!!! I sometimes also use it as a watch or a clock because I don't wear a watch and I often need to know the time - I usually just take out the phone and read the time on it. Another thing that I do with my phone is to keep my contacts in there, so if I lose my phone that will mean that I will lose my whole list of contacts (not a very smart idea, especially with an old phone like mine), but I really can't be bothered making myself a hard copy list of contacts for myself, so I just have to trust my phone.I really don't know what else I used with my phone apart from all that... Yeah, I know... boring post, huh? But I really don't see why you would want to or need to use your mobile phone for anything other than the purposes that I listed above... which I supposes, explains the reason why I am so against expensive phones no matter what functions and widgits that they have because I won't use them anyway...Too unreliable.... though I wouldn't mind the internet connection though...
  5. Sorry, I was just voicing my opinion... but I've been here for about one month, and don't you think that that's enough to change the words "hosting credits" to "myCENTS hosting method"???I think it is... but oh well, I'm sure that Opaque and BuffaloHELP DO have a lot of things to do in their lives... I'm not surprised... I myself have a lot to do too, and I think that it's a miracle for them to be able to keep everything up and running and read our ungrateful comments on this forum (or more like MY ungrateful comments on this forum) and change the things that we want changed...Anyway, just thought that I would like to give my thanks to all you staff members, moderators inclusive in my thanks and keep the great work up and running!!!
  6. Argh!!! Yeah... and too bad I wasn't there BEFORE it closed down... that is my greatest sadness out of this thread, I must say. $20 dollars for 5 referral is a lot, more than... 5000% more than the normal GPT sites that you see in the average search engine results. I wonder why there aren't any more sites like this. I think it's because of the loss that the companies have and the fast closing downs of these types of and kinds of businesses because of their loss and/or lack of advertisers wanting to actually advertise their site. I mean, OK. Let's say that the site was very nice and gave a hundred percent of what they earned to you. So they get twenty dollars for referring people, and they give the whole twenty dollars to people that YOU refer... Now, that means that, because you only have to refer five people, the advertising company will only receive five clicks for the twenty dollars that they pay... How little!!! How sad!!! Especially if they could actually be getting one thousand clicks for two dollars... and ten thousand clicks from different people with the initial twenty dollars that they could have paid for the five clicks that they would have received from the site that you were talking about... And that is why there aren't many sites like this because they generate a loss and not a profit, and they could be earning lots by giving you less, and they would close down and go out of business in the long term anyway...
  7. Well, I must say that this solves the problem, doesn't it? While I agree with rayzoredge, I must say that willmark's list of crimes that he has done proves that he is a "bad guy" in the sense that he has broken the law for obvious illegal reasons and all that stuff.... And willmark, we never said that you were "B.S"-ing... I actually think that you really do contribute to this forum a lot...it's just that your introductory post is really, really weird and different from any other introductory posts, if you know what I mean... and since it's about crime and stuff, it just creates a negative first impression on you as an individual, though I can see that you are proving my first impressions wrong (and hopefully other members too) with your quality posts and all that... so you are actually quite welcomed in this forum. Also, I'm sure that someone that sounds as nice as you must have a reason in doing all these things, so if you would like to share it out I wouldn't mind, and I think neither would the other forum members will too... I just can't figure out why you would write yourself as a criminal in your first introductory post though. If you didn't do that and just gave us a normal introductory post like many of the other members do, I'm sure that no one would have known about you being a criminal and you with your criminal activities, and this whole thread won't be here like this in the first place... But then, you can't really change time, just like the fact that you can't take something back once you've spoken it out, so I don't think that you can change (or want to anyway...) your first post and all your other ones in this thread because we other members will still have our replies left untouched...
  8. This means that you have reached the 100 myCENTS benchmark and you will be credited with your (I think, first) US dollar!!! Woo hoo!!! Congratulations!!!I am assuming that this is your first US dollar that you have earned, by the way... Every 100 myCENTS will give you an equivalent of one US dollar. You can check the total amount of dollars that you have earned in your Xisto's Client Centre and Area now, because it will already have been credited. However, the Xisto forum is a bit slower than the main database where your Client Centre is, so it takes awhile to see it check in. But it will already have been in your account now. Since I am assuming that this is the first US dollar that you have earned, I am also assuming that the "Earned: 0.00" under your myCENTS will soon turn to a "Earned: 1.00" after a while!!! Congratulations!!! It actually takes only two US dollars to host your first site for a month, so after you have earned another US dollar, you will be able to start hosting!!! Pretty fast, isn't it? I was surprised myself, you know... Anyway... yeah. Enjoy your first earning.
  9. Sorry, I have to say that I actually agree with The Simpleton though... I really don't like this site's design template and I think that lots of work can go into it. For one, it doesn't really look that good and attractive for new members... I sometimes wonder why I joined this forum in the first place. If it wasn't for the members or anything I really wouldn't have bothered. Also, as a hosting site, I think that Xisto's main page looks very bad too... I thought that hosting sites were meant to have a good looking main page? It's meant to host sites, remember, and the main page looks like it's designed by a not-professional person, no offence to Xisto or anything (just giving out my opinion). If Xisto realy wants to have actual customers badly, I suggest them to really change their outlook of Xisto... And I really don't think that pleading out to it's members for a template design will really help at all because most of us aren't that good a scripting and people that are will have better things to do anyway... just my point of view. I agree with The Simpleton in creating a new website design for Xisto. While it may be historical and stuff like that and the administrators and /or moderators might think fondly of this design, I think that it will do better with a more attractive layout that looks more modern and more pro that it is now... ...
  10. I must apologise for making myself clearer... I did NOT join Bux.to... so you won't hear my results even after a year!!! If you go to GPTBoycott, you will be able to see Bux.to on their scam list. This is because Bux.to is a SCAM!!! (By the way, just to tell you. GPTBoycott.com is a site where members of the internet public report scamming PTC sites on the web, so make sure you don't join any of those sites listed in the left hand side column of the thing!) I don't know why Bux.to is on the top of the Google search thing though... I reckon they should just take it off. It masks the real paying and legit PTC sites that new members and people are finding. So yeah... And I'm not going to waste my time clicking on Bux.to and waiting for a year or so to see whether I'll get paid or not... thanks for the offer though. I highly doubt the people that claims that they actually made that much money. I haven't found any site that claimed that Bux.to is not a scam, however... but I really think that people are just claiming that they made that much because they just wanted to boast. If everyone started to really actually earn that much, wouldn't everyone would have joined and no complaints will be made??? This is wrong!!! Also, it is said that the so called "cash" or "money" or "credits" that you earn at Bux.to CAN be used... but only in one way... put ads up of your own!!! This is just a sad site that spirals down the scam thing. I think it's called a pyramid scam scheme or something like that. Or a Nigerian one. But I really don't know the name, but it's something related to getting more people into the scam and stuff. So basically, you put your own ad on and you let other people "visit" you site and let them earn the so-called "credits" or "money" or "cash"... and they will think that they are actually going to get paid when they're not!!! So whatever you do, DON'T join the site!!! And please... refrain from putting your ads up on their site and con and scam more people into thinking that having ads on their site will mean that they will pay. Reduce the number of victims as much as possible!!! (Unless you are already over the number of "credits" that you can pay for to put your ads up... well, why not use it if you can advertise your site and not waste anymore time and effort than you already have?) For you sake, mahesh2K, I will do some research on those sites that you have listed...(BEWARE!!! Lengthy post below!!! Haha... took a long time doing this... I'm proud of myself... ) Email Pays U ... ... SCAM!!! E-MailPaysU has been in operation more than five years; but this doesn't indicate responsible ownership. This site is a scam!!! On the site, where I have searched for information, they claimed to offer "targeted e-mail", in over 50 categories, to an increasing number of "double opt-in subscribers", numbers that allegedly increased from 147,000 (January 1, 2005) to 400,000 (May 29. 2006) to 600,000 (October 30, 2006). Note the 200,000 member increase from June through September, 2006, in just four months... A scam!!! Very likely!!! Also during October, 2006, E-MailPaysU claimed to "consistently rank in the top 10% most visited website each month." But Alexa's current traffic rating of E-MailPaysU doesn't say that!!! SCAM!!! (I LOVE doing this - saying SCAM!!!, I mean ) They have a $10 sign-up bonus and offers "paid-to-read" e-mails, rewarded monetarily or with points, the value of which "are based on the results of the advertisements." According to the TOS, points are automatically exchanged six times annually, requiring a minimum earned balance of $10 for cash-out; however, but people must reach the required minimum earnings of $50 to receive their first "commission" pay-out, either by check, PayPal or E-gold. So this means, I think, that they don't really go with what they say, with the TOS saying one thing and the actual thing is another thing altogether... Also, "No guarantee of payment is made between E-Mail Pays U and its subscribers." is put on it's TOS... so it's a SCAM!!! Perhaps, the pay-out is set too high and takes too long to reach. And there is too little customer/member support, as indicated by our complaints. Some quotes from other sites: Source: myLOT forums Source: Another forum here Inboxdollars - LEGITI think so... lots of site out there think it is... well, I can't say I've got any proof to prove that it is legitimate, you can only disprove not legit sites (scam sites), but you cannot prove legit sites that are legit... but anyway, here's a quote from a soruce that thinks it is legitimate... (I'm trying to get around three sources for each site that you list... (sorry, long quote)Source:here... don't really know... Hits4pay - LEGIT Again... here are source(s) that think they are... sorry, not proof to back me up, but I don't want to lengthen this post as much as it is... Source: Two posts in one...Source: Forum So.. there you go!!! I swear, this post has made me off forum posting for the next week or so... it took so long finding quotes and things... anyway... enjoy your not-so-good review and research from Nameless_!!! And yeah... thanks.
  11. Yay!!! First reply post!!! I thought that I might actually reply because no one actually did... and this thread has been here for a while and I don't actually like threads that haven't actually been answered... (wow... so many actuallies... actually, there are a total four actuallies not including this one nor the one before it, that is, not including the ones in the brackets.) But anyway... not more talking about actuallies. Lets get back on the topic. Yes... there ARE legitimate sites that actually (argh!!! I can get rid of this word!!!) give out points and cash and whatever that they promise for.... though most of them are just scams to help them make money. The one that you were talking about would sound like a scam, because of the high pay rate, but it's not. That's very rare, I must say. But might I also add that sites like this won't exactly last long, because they usually mean that the advertiser has to pay a lot, and advertisers won't like that and would prefer to find another site that will require less money to advertise for them. So that is why people earn so little, like 0.0000001 cents per click because the site has to pay for the hosting, the domain name AND have a profit from the two dollars that they gain from the advertisers each for around a thousand clicks... And that is why they give so little out. If what you say is true, then the site must either be very stupid and is running their company at a loss or that they charge their advertisers for a very high price (which of course, scares their advertisers and customers away) - which means less ads... less money coming in... less members... less traffic of the PTC (paid to click) site... and in the end, the shutting down of the company... I don't know sites like this, though I know bonuses and all that from referring your friends and maybe your not-friends but would like to register under you (rare)... So it's like this... you get paid like 0.01 cents per click of your own, and 0.025 cents per click from your referrals... but this often means that you have to click yourself too... because most of these sites only let you earn to money that your referrals make if you click all the ads yourself. So it's not technically "passive" income, if you know what I meant. However, you shouldn't be that down on the low pay out, because some people are know to make areound $10 per day from their refferals and some even more, maybe in their hundreds, though I doubt it... they might actually just be boasting and all that. But legitimate sites can also turn to scam, so if there is any solid proof that this is happening... STOP your clicking and run away from your site and don't waste your time seeing and clicking whether it's true or not!!!
  12. I know that... and I am intending to do both... BUT the problem is: I don't think anyone will donate to my site, and I know that most members in my site's community will be teens like my wanting to learn about psychic phenomena and stuff. And I don't think that they will donate. Also, I don't think that my site will generate lots of traffic, so there will be minimum ad clicking, and I'm sure that my site's loyal members like teens and stuff won't be interested in the ads anyway, because my site is VERY specific in what it's doing and all that so my visitors will know exactly what they are looking for, and won't get distracted by my ads. That is the problem... ... The thing is, there IS a cause for people to donate to my site, because it is a public research thing that I will be holding and every week I will be posting up the replies and conclusions and resolutions to this particular aspect of psychic phenomena... so it is like a live experimentation of whether this ability exists or not... plus many other experiments. However, donations only come if there are a lot of people visiting my site, and if the people there like my cause and have the money to donate. The thing is, not many people will search for scientific experiments held by teens on psychic phenomena, I mean, not many people search up psychic phenomena in the first place... and not many people in the people that DO search for scientific experiments on psychic phenomena will find my site... PLUS... Out of the small number of people that DO find my site, not many people will donate to my cause anyway... So yeah... as you can see. This might be a long term help solution in the long term (sorry for the terrible grammar), but when I get started, it will be hard. And I will need, by the time I start, to have a near stable, if not stable stream of income that DOESN'T come from my parents pocket of their wallet that can help me host this site... (And I didn't even mention the other site that I had wanted... I'll leave that 'till later. For now, first things first.)
  13. I thought that the dragon word IS right... because my teacher wrote that too... but anyway...I've never really used the Google translater before... I don't really know why though. Just didn't really appeal to me. I mostly use Babelfish... But I think it's rather similar anyway. They don't actually change the words that they don't know... So it's the same, though in my opinion Babelfish is actually better than Google because everyone uses it and it has more translating capability than Google, if you know what I mean. I mean, they translate more than Google... so in those speech brackets that you use where Google merely changed it to English and capatalized it, Babelfish will actually change those words that they put in there too... just thought that you would like to know that... But anyway... By the way, this is AltaVista Babelfish that I'm talking about. This is a translation comparison in French of the two if anyone is interested... (I'm sorry... for some reason some of the french words are in symbols) AltaVista Babelfish: As soon as it was outside, Pierre moved towards the street of Paris, the principal street of Le Havre, lit, animated, noisy. The a little fresh air of the edges of sea cherished the figure to him, and it went slowly, the cane under the arm, the hands behind the back. It was smelled badly at ease, weighed down, dissatisfied like when one received some annoying news. No thought specifies did not afflict it and it would not have known to say first of all from where this gravity came to him from the heart and this numbness from the body. It had some share badly, without knowing where; it carried in him a small painful point, one of these almost insensitive bruises which one does not find the place, but which obstructs, tire, sadden, irritate, an unknown and light suffering, something like a seed of sorrow. Google Translate: When he was outside, Pierre went to the streets of Paris, the main street of Le Havre, lighted, busy, busy. The air of a little fresh seashores figure caressed him, and he walked slowly, cane under his arm, hands behind their backs. He felt uncomfortable weight, as unhappy when received some disturbing news. No precise thought it sad and knew he would say first of all that this was due gravity of the soul and the numbness of the body. He had badly somewhere without knowing where; He wore it a little painful point, one of these almost insensitive bruises which are not found instead, but the way, tired, sadden, irritate, suffering and unknown slight, some something like a seed of sorrow. And this is the REAL human translation: English (human translation): As soon as he got out, Pierre made his way to the Rue de Paris, the high-street of Havre, brightly lighted up, lively and noisy. The rather sharp air of the seacoast kissed his face, and he walked slowly, his stick under his arm and his hands behind his back. He was ill at ease, oppressed, out of heart, as one is after hearing unpleasant tidings. He was not distressed by any definite thought, and he would have been puzzled to account, on the spur of the moment, for this dejection of spirit and heaviness of limb. He was hurt somewhere, without knowing where; somewhere within him there was a pin-point of pain -- one of those almost imperceptible wounds which we cannot lay a finger on, but which incommode us, tire us, depress us, irritate us -- a slight and occult pang, as it were a small seed of distress. As you can see... they are both quite wrong and not right... so the best translator is a human one!!! Hehe...
  14. Yes, I agree with that too... I don't think that any normal person will be able to earn a lot of money from that at all and you would be better off creating your own Warez site, if you can do it without getting caught by copyright and piracy official lurking around the web trying to find your identity to arrest you for copyright infringements...I don't really know if there are other ways to make money online though, without using a lot of your time, making "passive" money for profit. Does anyone have any other ideas in ways to make and earn more money online without actually having to waste a lot of your time like those PTC (paid to click) sites???I am currently finding way to do it... But most sites that actually offer some very good things and all that for basically no work only allow citizens from the United States, Canada and the United Kingdoms (Britain), so people from other international countries worldwide don't have a chance of earning all this money at all...And that's not good, because I am neither a citizen of the US, Canada or UK...But I really need the money to keep up my hosting, and I don't think that I can post like, everyday just to keep up my hosting...Plus, people will get sick of seeing my name on this site after all while too... with all my questions and everything...AND... well, it's just not that good... I mean, how are you meant to work on your site if you get carried away posting like I do?Then I will have my hosting and all that, maybe even a domain name.... but I won't have time to actually work on my actual site(s)!!!Please help...
  15. AH... OK... Yeah well, I guess that's the point though. Before I came to this site, however, I thought that people get paid just for putting their ads up from Google. So I didn't mind clicking on them anyway, but I never really did because the ads didn't even attract me to their site. ;)And I was like, before I started thinking of putting up ads on my site, go wow... if I could get people to put up ads on my site that I will be able to cover up my hosting per month and maybe even the domain for a year, but now I'm wrong. :PWell, I realised I was quite a few weeks ago but I didn't really say it out loud here. SO there you go.I don't really know. I'm still on my quest in finding passive money and things for hosting, and I've got a few questions needed to get answered, but I won't post them up here because it'll get off topic on this thread and I'll break the forum rules, and that's something that I would like to avoid as much as possible.Sad thing is my site won't be generating lots of traffic becuase it's a specialist site and only people knowing what they are looking for will know my site and find it, if Google puts me in their database. So I won't be generating a lot of traffic. Possibly around 5 - 10 loyal members or so and other random guests that just go in and out and in and out and just go their to look at any new updates and things and won't sign up. And that mean that it isn't a stable visitor count...I really need to find ways to make money passively to keep up my hosting as fast as possible.... ...
  16. About Tickerbar: This is the first thing to be mentioned about that adbar. (Taken from the report of Symantec) When you run this bar, it downloads/unpacks a trojan-horse downloader to your computer (alerted by AVG). There is also not much relevant info about referral bonus, it just asks you to make as many referrals as you can. Free Money Resource has already added this program to their Rogues Gallery. And I believe that this program is totally a bogus, since they even don't answer my emails about these things I wrote. Its address: greenhorse.com or tickerbar.info The very one that you were promoting, guest!!!
  17. I must say I don't really know about that one, though I've read some books on Adsense and how it works and how much they give and all that, as well as ways to target your target audience. But I think that they shouldn't be manually approved. I mean, I know that (we all do) that Google is a big company... so I don't really think that it would be to have manual operators that will take "precious" money off Google's owner. The think is, there are millions and zillions and gazillions of people signing up for Adsense every day, every night, every minute. Now, while Google might have a lot of employers and lots of workers, I really don't think that manually checking each site will work because even the biggest companies in the whole world won't be able to cope with the amount of demands for Adsense from Google users, if you get what I mean. SO a bot is required.
  18. Yeah? Well, for some reason, most Toyota Advances that I see on the streets are silver... if not all Toyota Advances that I see on the streets are silver for some reason. My family uses a silver one as well... weird... But yeah, just thought I would let you know. Anyway.... Good luck with choosing your car!!! I'm not surprised if it takes quite a while to actually decide. Buying a car uses a lot of money and requires lots of big investments to cover it up, so if or when you want to buy a car, make you that you are completely happy with your choice!!! (After all, you can't just throw it away and buy another one... it's nothing near the price of toilet paper)
  19. Oh... oops. Yeah, I suppose. It does look fun though. But I still think you should change the colour. Blue looks a bit... Well, I don't really know. Just not right. Maybe green and brown colours. THat's what I'm looking for.
  20. Sorry, oops. It's actually Toyota Advances. And it doesn't even start with C. I have terrible memory. Just asked my dad. This is what it looks like: (It's very popular, I see it everywhere...) well, no, not really. I couldn't find a picture of it. This is toyota Prius, it's completely different. But it looks KINDA similar to what I'm talking about.
  21. What's an ambitious plan? Huh???*I'm confused* (Not what "ambitious" means, but what is the ambitious plan that you were talking about?) By the way, your quote went wrong... and now the billion million trillion dollar question is: The edit, or not to edit, that is the question... I really don't see how an extra 0.01 myCENTs will corrupt the system though, so if the moderators and administrators are nice, they won't change it. No point in doing so anyway, that's my point of view.
  22. OK, I must say that my criticism won't be as good as rvalkass's or truefusion's, as I'm not very good at all this, but I think that you will find out what an average "no knowledge in website design and templates" person like me that will typically find your site think.... Well, it doesn't look professional, so that turns me off. But on the other hand, because it doesn't look proffessional, it gives a family, school kind of feel and I like that. The colour blue isn't all that nice, I think. I mean, it's a nice blue, it just doesn't fit in with the camp kind of theme. Maybe try something greener? More camp colour suited? I think that the audience will be able to relate more of it if this was the case....So basically, two points:> Make it look more proffessional (I have absolutely no idea how to do that, but good luck!!!!)> Change the colour scheme (especially the near sky blue colour that is slightly darker)
  23. Yeah... and don't you get negative myCENTS if anyone, including you or the moderators and administrators running the site edit your posts... I've edited my posts once because I had a typo in my post, and I got negative myCENTS because of that. So don't edit your posts as much as possible!!! And remember to not copy stuff and things from sites if you want positive myCENTS... (though I sometimes wonder what it will be like if you gained lots and lots and lots of negative myCENTS and then somehow hacked into the system and removed the negative sign... you'll become a Xisto millionaire!!!)
  24. I agree.... even if your friend shouts you something, like a drink or something, you are required to shout them back something that is the same or of similar value sometime in the future, unless you want a very unsuccessful friendship. Things might be free in the short term, but not in the long term. I mean, you don't HAVE to shout them something back, but it is nice to do that for your friends that have shouted you something first, and it's kind of a universally "unspoken" and "unwritten" law that you should do that. It's accept and shout me something sometime in the future, or don't accept my shout and offer at all...
  25. Oh my god... that's very good... I don't really get what rvalkass means by "not valid", though I've heard the term many times before in different websites having a "not valid" HTML. Apparently Xisto is "not valid" too... in one of those web hosting (free) reviews that I see around. I don't really care though, as long as the forums works and as long as the myCENTS sends and calculates properly, I'm fine with that.
