  1. Thats great, well done finding it! I wonder if they've made any others for other people?Buffalo: No, none of the links work, they all go to that page.
  2. Yeah, thats funny. I really needed something to cheer me up, thanks!
  3. The whole point of the auto_increment function is to create a unique id for each record. Rather than MySQL waste processing power and time working out the highest number in the table it just picks up where it left off.Truncating the table does work but can also be a waste of time if you don't need the numbers to go from 1. I cannot see what purpose the id number serves on your mail system? Perhaps you would care to elaborate.
  4. Thats brilliant! That may only be your 3rd vector but you are already working great. I would post some links if I knew any, machinamedia. You could always try Pixel2Life for a tutorial if you want.
  5. I think people will start to use Linux more, but most people are still afraid of using it as they can't get a decent desktop similar to Windows or still think it is too "technical". As a little update from my last post I would like to warn people at schools that, especially if you have the useless RM computers, the IT technicians have a program that can watch your every move and track what you're doing. Unfortunately they don't seem to use this for its proper reasons and I have already experienced a technician deleting some of my coursework off my pen drive "as a joke". It'll be great if he's been fired when I go back to school tomorrow We're also stuck just using IE, even though the technicians prefer using Firefox themselves, supposedly it is too difficult to install it across a network. Yeah, I've seen one of them, it makes you wonder how secure the machines really are. Just wobble the fascia of the machine before you use it
  6. A turtle with no shell, I'd say he was both naked and homeless, although I'm sure someone will take him in and give him some clothes! Try this one: Rob, Clive and Sam each have one of these jobs; accountant, teacher and scientist. Their salaries are ?50,000 ?25,000 ?40,000. Work out who has each job and their salaries from these clues: Rob is not a teacher The accountant earns the most Sam is not the accountant Clive earns the least Rob earns more than Sam Clive is not an accountant Sam is not the teacher It should be pretty easy Good luck!
  7. I like Mayank's as its been made with the GIMP and I like the renders. Good luck to everyone!
  8. You have a grandfather, a father and the son/grandson. Its kind of hard to explain, but there are 3 people. One is the father of the one and grandfather of the other. One is the son of one and father of the other, and the last guy is the son and grandson.
  9. I've noticed that there are large white sections either side of the banner at the top, perhaps fill that with the green you're using. I agree with Panda, get that site transferred to Xisto and lose the ads.
  10. Try these:Favourite Movie: ???Favourite Place: ???Favourite Day: ???Favourite Car: ???Favourite Book: ???Favourite TV Show: ???Tell me if you need any more!
  11. OK, try changing it so that it is all on one line, e.g. <input type="image" name="delete" src="images/delete.jpg" value="<?php echo $row_products['manufacturer_id'] ?>" /> You could also try changing the closing tag, so you don't have a slash. Sometimes it can cause problems. I think you also need a ; after that PHP you have in the value attribute. <input type="image" name="delete" src="images/delete.jpg" value="<?php echo $row_products['manufacturer_id']; ?>"> Tell us if that helps.
  12. Well, that information that is appearing is some of the basic header information of the page, as far as I am aware. Make sure you havent left an echo statement or something open, which could display the headers. If that text is only appearing in Opera make sure you haven't got a setting turned on that displays header information.I have tried accessing your website, although I get a "could not locate remote server" message. Could you provide us with the link, just in case I got it wrong.
  13. [1] A sig is an image designed either by yourself or by someone who has given it to you as a gift. They normally have your forum username on them and sometimes a short sentence or quote. They originally started to show off a bit of your personality, graphics skills and to end messages with your name.[2] Gifts are gift sig pictures given by members to other members for doing something helpful, being nice or other random reasons.[3] As far as I am aware (feel free to correct me) I think you can put links in your signature, as long as they are not referral links, e.g. the ones to get you free stuff where you need a certain number of people to click you link.
  14. OK, I'm willing to help you, but: 1. Your MSN address isn't on your profile and... 2. Why did you post this in Entertainment > Flash Animations?? If you need your ftp address then its http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/
  15. OK, I use Opera so all I saw of their homepage was a search bar, even when identifying myself as IE. Using FireFox I could see the whole thing, and it reminds me of the Google homepage. Again Microsoft steals someone elses ideas, but I still prefer the Google homepage, as I can actually load it and view it.
  16. I'm sure things are meant to go through quality control? Wouldn't that have detected the virus? I am sure kost people will just remove it, or let their anti virus do it for them.
  17. I took the Do Amazing Things With Windows XP test, and got 28 out of 30 in 24 minutes. Some of the questions are quite long winded and complicated. It is useful though to further your knowledge, especially if you are a bit unsure on using XP.
  18. Its worrying to think that people would do such things. Surely these people are not desperate for such items and have enough money to survive. There was a photograph in the newspaper of a man with a shopping trolley full of stuff hes looted. If your home has been destroyed and you need food, clothes and a bed to survive, fine. But to walk around with a shopping trolley full of TVs, DVDs and other electrical appliances, expensive clothes and other items?? You don't need that stuff to survive. Its also an incredible waste of police time. There are people dying who could be saved, but the police have to chase after people who are trying to make money out of other peoples misfortune? Its just wrong.
  19. I wish you all the best and a speedy recovery afterwards. These operations have been done thousands of times and are extremely safe.Again, I wish you all the best.
  20. I've just downloaded Messenger 7.5 and the main differences are: The login screen now always shows a password field, not just your email address, and has other options for choosing what status you want before signing on. E.g. you can sign on as Appear Offline to see who there is to talk to. Voice clips. You can now record a voice clip to send to the person you are talking to. You need a microphone and they need speakers. Dynamic backgrounds. Oooh, wow! A background that moves. The point??? Just for anyone who wants to know, the old version of Plus! (v3.54) works with Messenger 7.5 If I see any other changes then I'll let you know.
  21. OK, I believe in UFOs as it makes sense. In a supposedly infinite universe there are an infinite number of planets in an infinite space, so its highly likely that if we can survive on this planet, there are other beings surviving on other planets. I agree with AbstracT and Acidify that the government knows of the existence of UFOs and spaceships and has proof, but for some reason they don't want the public to know. How can the government say UFOs are not a threat to national security. They could be millions of years ahead of our time and quite willing to destroy the earth, which seems a little threatening to the safety of the planet.I'm not so sure about ghosts though. They may well exist but every sighting and all evidence can be proven to be something else. Unless I experience it first hand, which I hope I never will, I won't believe in them.
  22. I recently tried to do the same thing with my site. Its still being tested (hence the name test.php), but it works by being based entirely off of the index page, calling other pages only when they are needed. For example, clicking the Mailing List link opens the mailing list page in the middle section, but nothing else reloads or changes. I am using div's on the main page, with the central div containing some code to load the right files. If its the kind of thing you're looking for then I'll be happy to give you the code and help you out.
  23. I was also looking for something similar a few months back. I went for the Kodak LS753. It cost just over ?100 with a free 256MB card. Its easy to use, produces great quality photos and didn't totally break the bank. Its 5MP with a 3x optical zoom and I can't remember the digital zoom, but its pretty good. Works great as a point-and-shoot camera. If you give a better idea of your budget then I'll see if I can find any more good buys.

    Which Way Is Up?

Hey, don't worry! Supposedly in a few thousand years the poles of the Earth will switch so that the South Pole will become North and vice verca. The the Southern hemisphere will be at the 'top' of the planet, although Australia will still be at the 'bottom'. Not all cartographers have north pointing upwards on maps. In our geography room we have both a globe and a world map with south at the top.
  25. I love comedy so my favourite 3 shows have to be Home Improvement, Black Adder and The Brittas Empire. They are all just extremely funny and quite random.
