I agree with you not only about game piracy but of piracy of all kinds. People do not realize that people put time into the programs and movies that they create. Most people I know think its different from stealing something from the store but its not. It is just like art and most people wouldn't think about stealing a painting but they don't mind burning a c.d. It gets me really mad sometimes when people don't respect other people's work.

You do not need to worry about your phpbb file size at Xisto. The admins have said before that you do not have to worry about your sql space as long as you are not too greedy about it. In my opinion five megabytes is not bad at all you must have a sucessful forum.

Well first of all you have to realize that car insurance is basically a scam. They make their money knowing that you will never even come close to the amount you pay in. My aunt's insurence doubled when my cousin got his drivers licence. They increase your payment if they think you will ever use it. It is still a scam even if you ever get your car wrecked because it doesn't cover basic repairs like it should.

Some people are just wierd like that. They can not take it when someone else is hanging out with one of their friends or just talks to someone you do not like. I think its sad that friendships can be ruined like that but it happens so what are you going to do.

I actually agree that swaring should not be allowed in The Vent or in any other of the fine Xisto forums. When you are talking to someone sometimes one of those words slips out on accident because you are mad. Here it is a different story. You see what you type and there is a backspace button. Some adults do not like swearing either. I don't like seeing swaring all over the place because people can't think of a better word.

There is absolutely no way that I would pay any amount of money to use Google Search. You can not charge to use a search engine. I do think that you could charge for Gmail but I wouldn't use it because who really needs all that space when they think about it. All of Google's other tools I never use and in the case of their instant messenger there is better out there anyways. Besides Google has ads so they obviously do not need the money.

As bad as it is I would have to say that Windows is the best operating system on the planet Earth. For one thing Windows is the operating system that most games are made for (I am a pc gamer so I really need this). Windows is much more ram efficient compared to Linux from what I have heard. I have used Windows all my life and I would say that without it I probably would have never gotten a computer in the first place. The only flaw with Windows is security, but I am sure that Microsoft is doing their best to fix that up. Another flaw with Windows that is not a big deal to me is that it is not the best for use as a webserver.

Before you go complaining about something that is for the most part free (except for distributions like Red Hat) you have to realize the limitations of anything that is free. The Linux developers do not program as a full time job most of the time. If you are not spending all of your time doing something like the people who created Windows how can you compete with them. Microsoft is a multi billion dollar company with millions of dollars who can hire full time programmers and lots of them. You always have to sacrifice if something is free.

I would have to say that Google has at least 5 terrabytes of space on their servers. Google search has a couple billion sites listed on Google search so that has to be some major space especially when you consider that pages are cached. Gmail uses a ton of space so that helps add up the space. Other Google programs use up the rest of the space (such as Google Earth).

I think that the rules here are fine. On any forum that gives away something for posting (like here) they have to be a little more strict than on a forum that gives you nothing. I have seen quite a few posts that have been spam. Most of those posts end up in the spam topics to be adjusted forum. This is because of our moderators. They are the ones who keep this a good place to post. I bet that if we went one day without moderators here this forum would be full of spam because of people who just want hosting and don't care about the community.

I use Gmail and it is absolutely the best e-mail service that I have ever used. It has good space, little downtime, and few ads. The only downfall is the invite system but once you are in its the best you can get.

Actually from what I have seen all you need to do is only have one user and make sure that user does not have a password. That is really the best way I found to get automatic login. Maby your meathod is a sure fire meathod though.

That is really dumb if you ask me. I thought that police officers were supposed to uphold the law not bend it to their own advantage. All people in power are like this no matter what the job is. It is unavoidable you just have to learn to deal with bumps in the road like this. Also, here in the United States we do not have to use a handfree set but we still get pulled over for stuff just as dumb as that.

I have had to use Gzip before and it is way better than a Zip file. I know this because when I was going to download a file the link to the Zip file did not work so I checked the Gzip one. The file was 14mb zipped but it was I think 12mb gzipped. It is a pretty big difference so I would go with Gzip.

All the people at my school use Myspace (except me). The problem I am hearing all the time is that it is very, very hard to sign up for. I personally do not like Myspace because I saw my friend's blog and it did not compare with other services I have seen. The main reason it is any good is because it is free.

I never knew that Netzero had any pros at all. Everyone at my school complained about how bad it is and I went on the internet at my friends house (he has Netzero) and it was the worst internet experience I have ever had. It is too slow and that is comming from someone who had dial up for 3 years.

I know what you are saying. The weather people where I live are the biggest liers I have ever heard. They say its gonna be a nice 30 degree winter day and its around 10 degrees. They say its gonna be a nice sunny summer day and it rains all day. I do not see how false weather predictions make such good television. If you are not sure do not say anything and look at your weather map for a few more hours.

I know what you are saying. My parents always have me tell the other one something. Then I tell the reponse to that parent. They always get mad at me if I forget part of the story too. People need to learn to talk directly to each other or the information will not be recieved in the same way it was originally said.

I personally do not mind this advertisment at all. It does not distract me when I am reading my message so I say way to go Google. I think more companies need to learn how to make ads visible but not in your way.

Detroit's public transportation system has its ups and downs. The People Mover (Detroits elevated rail system) is very reliable and I recommend it to anyone who has to travel around downtown Detroit. The Detroit buses are horrible because of the bugit I heard that they had to cut back a lot and now it is horrible.

You think that people in Europe and the United States do not understand this but we do. We have the same problems that you do. Our opinion only counts every few years just like yours. Our lawmaking body also spends money on themselves. You have to realize that it is nearly impossible for every citizen to vote on every issue. It would be nice but its not really going to happen. Corruption is in every country no political system lacks corruption and every political system is flawed but democracy is still the best thing anyone has thought of.

I was just thinking about this. Why on Earth do parents lie to their children about things like this. I mean it does not benefit any one. In my opinion people should not lie to people on purpose even if it is something like this because there is no reason to tell such a lie.

I agree with you! I would consider that unfair treatment period. I do not care if he was the guy's son or not. People need to learn that people who are different from them in some way are people too and should be accepted by everyone.

My friends used to do stuff like that all the time and it really got on my nerves. My computer logs me out after a few minutes of inactivity. What you need to do is be a little more careful with the safety of your computer. If you have your own account just put a password on it and when the screensaver comes on set it so it logs you out. If you do that you should have no more problems.

I personally think it is almost impossible to find when human civilization began. It seems to me that even though scientists are finding older and older artifacts showing how long humans have been around it is fully possible they have been around long enough to where the oldest artifacts no longer exist because they turned to dust.
