  1. Thanks Mich, and same back at you and yours.
  2. Wow. That is a whole lot of snow for that part of the world. Sounds like it is all working out for you, though. Good idea to have a housesitter coming in this next trip. Hope the Plumber shows up soon. Enjoy Lost Wages. LOL
  3. I am thinking that our member : Sheepdog needs to review this Topic and reply. They are our resident Dog person.
  4. Indeed it can become a mess in a hurry. I have done concrete in the past on several large commercial jobs. One very difficult pour was a car wash with sumps and drains similar to what you describe. Forming the sumps and drains was very challenging. And the slope was critical, too. Too steep and it became slippery, too flat and it does not drain properly. But it worked out okay. Nearly 20 years ago and it is still in operation.

Sheepdog, Save your money. Download and install Open Office software for free. It will open Microsoft files and is FREE. As in beer. http://www.openoffice.org/download/ Tell them I sent you... LOL
  6. A member listed as being from the State of Nevada, USA posting a link to a concrete company in Australia looks a tad bit wonky to me. Especially as their first Topic on the Forum. Quite unusual.
  7. My first response would be to suggest that you list the entire code from line 1 (or zero if you know Binary ) to the line number 20 described in the error message since the error is typically prior to the stated line and not necessarily in that same listed line number. Are you using the single quoted values as variables? Are you trying to print the values? Are you concatenating the variables? I suspect you will find that there is a mismatched number of single quotes or a single quote might need to be escaped. That error message means the Parser can not find the End of Statement as defined by the semi-colon. Posting the code is your next step. Thanks.
  8. And the same to you from me. As well, I would like to extend the best wishes for 2014 to all of the members here.
  9. Where are you heading for vacation? I would not imagine that you are heading this direction.LOL Too cold for vacationing unless you ski or sled. Both of which are fun to do if you have some experience and the right cold weather gear. Regardless, enjoy the time off.
  10. Don't forget about the Web Developer's Extension and FireFTP and Download Helper and Evernote Web Clipper... and ... and ... and... There are many excellent tools for Firefox. It really depends on what you do with the Browser that determines which of the Add-ons / Extensions you would list as the best 5 of the available ones. IMHO.
  11. My laptop is about a year and a half old. It is usually left plugged in and still gets a couple of hours without the cord. Most new laptops have enough smarts to stop charging when the battery is full, so I don't get real worried about it. One approach would be to leave the machine plugged in to the wall with the battery removed. Only install the battery when you are needing the mobility of the battery pack. Never tried it this way, but it might help.
  12. Same to you demonboy. And to all the rest, I hope you enjoy the season.
  13. Wow! That would never happen here in Canada. The Universal Health Care system we have is paid for directly by the Provinces (States) and users do not receive any bill. I have only ever had to pay for a small number of pills I received to take while I was at home. And as an aside to the Topic, Mich, I am sorry to hear of your loss. Kindly forward my condolences to the rest of the family. Wow! That would never happen here in Canada.
