  1. I'd just like to add a few tipsIf you do call the guy, don't talk for hours on end if he doesn't talk much, I honestly get very bored with it and a 20 minute conversation is waay too long for me; however, talking in person is great.Have fun when your around him, you don't want to be in a relationship that isn't fun.Respect his space, let him have time to do the stuff he needs to doAs a guy, I must say the biggest turnoff is a clingy and controlling girlfriend, I need my space and I need to be able to do what I need to do without the 20 questions. And the #1 rule is trust the guy unless he gives you a reason not to trust him
  2. I necessarily like the class room part, or the homework part, but I love being able to hang out with friends without driving into town. I keep my grades up though, but school would be alot better without homework; though, i know it helps make us remember stuff (that's why i have problems on tests i didn't do the homework for, lol)
  3. oh, that explains why mine died, lol. I used tap water, little tempermental I guess, well, i'll keep that next time I decide to try and kill a venus fly trap
  4. I actually just installed ubuntu about 30 minutes ago, lol; however, I've been running off the live CD for about 4 hours and I love the OS, I have found almost no flaws in it, there seem to be only a couple glitches that I am sure are just user error right now. The current version seems to support everything someone would need. I plugged in the CD and everything worked on my Dell laptop, including wireless internet without having to think at all. So I suggest ubuntu, but the only other version I have tried is feather linux and that wasn't even for very long.
  5. The PS3 motion control is lame. It only offers a single axis of control and even then it's not that great on control. Also, idk about the PS3, but the pointing feature for the wii makes browsing the web very easy, it's not easy at all to use an analog stick on the ps3.I believe the only thing the ps3 has going for it is the blueray capability, and even then, I wouldn't go buy a PS3 for the blueray when everything still comes out on DVD.As for psp and DS, I'd go DS mainly because of the download play capabilities (you can play the same game with other people without buying the game for yourself).Gamecube vs ps2: PS2 all the way, the PS2 was a great system and still is. The gamecube was pretty much a bomb for nintendo like the ps3 for sony, but the ps2 is a great system with great games.
  6. I seriously doubt that is has 40 gb of ram, if it did, it would need a special OS to run it, but it may have 4 gb of ram, the computer sounds nice though.
  7. :-/ there are tons of p2p network software. Ares is just one of them, and it's also not clean because of the program, the reason limewire has so much crap on it is because other people put it on, you can do the same with ares by getting a bad torrent or something. I honestly use FlashGet because one of my friends said I could download from servers at 4x speed and I'm too lazy to switch cause it does exactly the same as any other program. Anyways, that's just my 2 cents.
  8. The game was pretty good, the patriots almost had it, but the giants got the ball in the end zone in the end. Alot of my friends went home to angry patriots fans . We had a little get together here and hung out, some of the commercials were pretty good "Wheel suck!", the squirrel one was pretty good too. The Richard Simmons commercial was hilarious, poor guy, lol.
  9. I believe the reason for this problem is that some CDs don't put the song information with the songs because they don't expect the songs to be ripped to a computer (this is probably before the computer became a media center), unfortunatly there probably isn't any software for it mainly due to the difficulty of figuring out what song and stuff it is and you have to do it manually.
  10. DS all the way, it offers download play and easy multiplayer. I've also found they are harder to break (all of my friends broke their PSP screens at least once). I personally don't have either, but I much prefer the DS because of it's multiplayer capabilities. It now has some great integration to the wii too, whereas the PSP can only turn on the Playstation 3.
  11. I read this yesterday and according to the article there was still dog feces and stuff in there. Now obviously, poisoning the family was incredibly wrong and he should be punished for it, but not by child endangerment and child abuse, he should have been given to the police where he would be tried and sent to juvy. The kid was poisoning the family just because he couldn't go on a trip. When I was reading the article it sounded like the whole family had something wrong with the them. The grandmother threatened the cops she would bury him alive if they didn't send him to a sphyciatric hospital soon and his brother punched him in the face and said he was being merciful, I honestly think that none of them should be together and they all need sphyciatric help.
  12. To build a stable relationship, I think it's best to be friends for awhile before dating, take her to the movies, maybe for coffee or lunch, get to know each other then you can move farther into the relationship when the time is right.
  13. When somebody breaks up with you, you should realize, that the reason for the break up is because you two can't be together for the rest of your life, if that's the case then why waste time with someone who will only end up as nothing more than a friend? Nobody here on Earth can ever be with you forever, and you should always be ready for a loss (even though it is hard), but when you have nobody here, Jesus is always waiting and will be with you forever. I wish you the best of luck on getting out of your depression and I will pray for you. Above all, don't do anything you'll regret later (such as cutting, or attempting suicide), please.
  14. I have found that laptops use a power saving feature and don't use the full capabilities of their hardware, now this limiter should be automatically turned off when it's plugged in, but I can't be sure, I have always found my laptop isn't as fast as it's desktop counterpart, it may just be the extra drivers it needs to use the different features on a laptop.
  15. I use notpade, but I've heard dreamweaver was supposed to be good and I thought about giving it ago until I heard what Shadowx said. I think I'm going to give it a try and see if I like it, it really sounds great. I've found the most annoying part of notepad is that it doesn't indent inside brackets (something I'm used to from my C++ compiler) so i'll give that app a try and check it out.
  16. Have you checked your ports on your routers and modem? If you are behind a router or modem you have to go into the control panel of it (usually web based, check your owner's manual) and forward the ports the applications require (for XAMPP it'll be 80,81, and 21 i believe). Or if your too lazy (like me) you can just DMZ your computer; however, this will make your computer more vulnerable to attacks. If this doesn't help, I'm afraid I don't know, sorry.
  17. A relatively unkown feature offered by Google is it's web accelerator tool. The application speeds up the loading of pages to save time while surfing on the internet. I usually don't post reviews (mainly because I'm too lazy), but I've had an interesting experience with the program and feel like sharing.I first used the application about a year ago I think, back then the application was still in development and when I used it, somehow it made the bottom bar of the firefox windows sinch up to halfway up the window so I pretty much got half a window for browsing the web. Well, recently I stumbled upon it again and figured they probably had the problem fixed again and installed it, the problem was fixed. Now for the weird part, since the application caches websites to make them load faster, some sites may not load properly, such as Xisto. I used the google accelerator as I was logging into trap and found that everytime I did it would just bring me back to the forum root without logging me in, luckily the gadget comes with a feature to turn off acceleration for certain websites. For my review of the product, I would have to say that it probably isn't worth the download if you have a decent internet connection; however, if you go to a site that doesn't change that often and you have a slow internet connection it may help alot. I'm not bashing on Google at all in this review, just merely explaining what to watch out for in this one product.Hope this helps others out as they give the web accelerator a try.

    Praying

I hear you. I've found how powerful God is through prayer as well. With school and just other problems in life. In fact, one of my friends aren't gay anymore through prayer. I know that God is very powerful and he will do whatever you ask of him in faith.
  19. haha, I like how you happened to incorporate the glitches into the game. You may have something here if you keep working on it, but one thing I would definitly suggest is to add a loading bar to the begining so people know how fast the game is loading, especially when the file starts getting larger. There are tons of tutorials online that you could use and they are really easy to add to your project. Well, good luck with your game!
  20. I play xbox live. I only play Halo 3 seeing as that's the only game I have, but it's ok, it's really the only game I like on xbox.
  21. I saw a burger about 2 to 3 times bigger than that on TV the other day, it was amazing. As for my favorite food, I would have to say the orange chicken from panda express. I also love the chicken teriaky from subway.
  22. It would be sweet if google made an operating system, I would definitly buy it. I'm sure they could make a OS much more function and reliable than any Microsoft product, it would also be heavily integrated with the internet. Unfortunatly, I highly doubt Google would ever produce an Operating System for the home user just because it would be almost impossible to penetrate the market now. Linux has been around for ages and is now starting to make slight gain. Microsoft just makes it too hard to move to a different OS. Google would have a hard time creating an OS that can run windows and apple programs due to copywrights and things of the like (Linux is getting sued by Microsoft due to patents that let it run software meant for windows). I do wish they would make an OS though.
  23. haha, now that's redneck. That's awesome, I would so try that. Just a tip though, it would be easier if you used a real towing rope (for wakeboarding and stuff), it wouldn't be so hard on your hands. Hehe, well have fun and don't hurt yourself .
  24. I know just how you feel. I have a friend who broke two laptops in one year from viruses and he won't even let me fix them, but he still has no idea why they broke. I check all untrusted files thoroughly with avast, but he'll open anything that even suggests it can be opened. Anyways, hopefully this get's fixed quickly, because i've heard root kits are impossible to get rid of.
