  1. This is definitely much better Thanks a million
  2. This concept is really interesting, imagine meeting up with a potential customer for your company through this plugin. I like this idea really, but as with all new technologies, there have to be a fair amount of building up and hard work so that we could see a community which would communicate with each other whilst surfing this site using this plugin. Does this site show how many users it currently has its plugin installed with? Chances are that with this site, we will find it difficult to test it out because not many people have used it. I recon Dai.sy should market it to CNET, Zdnet, Yahoo! .... etc so that we could get more users of this plugin. I personally would like to try it, maybe I could message Koopler just by using that plugin and save the hassle of private messages in a forum. I just realised that this plugin totally eliminates private messaging on a real time basis in the forum. Can't wait to try it
  3. I am not the plump side, I weigh 65 kg but that is considered alright especially for a short person such as myself. Only 1.72m, but nonetheless, I do a lot of exercises to keep myself fit and strong. I always play football on the weekends and during the weekdays, I work on my physique by doing weight and endurance training on alternate days. But I am definitely eager to know of more ways to keep fit.
  4. I never knew about this self-unzipping .exe which we can use to archive a group of files. Is there a way to do this with WinRar, because I have since eradicated Winzip and used WinRar, for the obvious reason that WinRar is more popular and easier to use IMO and lets not forget it can also extract .rar and .zip files which is such a commodity in today's internet world.
  5. I must say I am very outdated with regards to web design and I am trying my best to catch up. I am basically doing the backend part of websites in my internship, very very rarely do I even need to touch the graphical part and to my best of knowledge, tables are used very often even on a corporate level, tables are used to structure the page and there isn't any css used unfortunately. Nonetheless, I wish to brush up on my web designing skills and those websites have been bookmarked by me, I will have a look when I get back home. There is 1 site I go to: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ After reading this topic and also about how much space and time it saves with the elimation of tables, I am under the idea that it is loading heavily on tables and that is the reason why the site is so slow. Can anyone confirm this?
  6. I do not really know you and I have not seen you posting much when I am on, but it is a loss for any Xisto member to leave. I hope you will return soon and start making use of your credits.
  7. I am basically at a forum which started from scratch (http://www.soccervision.co.uk/), and I do know the painful process of getting members to actually participate actively in your forum. And it is very difficult to get members especially if there are so many big forums with the same idea as yours. I always emphasize the need for regular backups and security with regards forum databases, you never know when the host decides to crash or whether you will be hacked. However I feel that you should not close the forum, all your time spent, the endless hours, and your dedication in the forum, you built a huge forum in the past, you should have just stuck to it and get back to old days. Not a good decision IMO
  8. Notepad is definitely out of the question as Paulmason11 wanted a text editor which indents his code automatically for him. With Notepad, you have to press tab manually for each line to indent each line of code. It may be the most raw, basic text utility but it does not help to keep pressing tab when you need to indent a line of code, wastes too much time IMO. If you are programming Java related codes, then I would suggest you to use Netbeans, the new version is out at 5.5, not too sure about the changes though, you can go download it at https://netbeans.org/ I am surprised that Netbeans actually runs slow on a fast computer. I am having a 2.66 gHZ, 512 MB RAM desktop and it runs pretty quick for me. Netbeans should not be limited to a fast PC but I am sure if they meet the minimum requirement of 512 MB RAM, it should work just fine. The only screwy thing about Netbeans is that if you use their GUI drag and drop, you could end up getting non-editable codes and that is the part I hate most about it. But if you use low-level APIs like Canvas, you would enjoy full customization.
  9. The problem with these kind of services which requires finance transaction and things like that is being based on mutual trust, and with Ebay being a free service and all for people to sell their items, many people will abuse the usage for it to scam other naive people. Trust me when I say that there are a lot of naive people in this world who would fall trap to their scams. That is why I choose not to engage in such international sales, if I had to sell something, I would go on my local site where I can meet the person straight up and we will decide on the transaction straight up.
  10. I would like to comment on your vision of love, it is the perfect ideology of what love is. Based on love, and nothing but true affection but this is totally unrealistic for 2 simple reasons: We are human and we are not angels. I agree with these 2 points. A lot of relationships can say that this is the case between them, many couples would go through hardship together and enjoy success together. But not this: If the both of you love each other but are not really good sexual partners, there is bound to be that part of dissatisfaction in your mind. Asking yourself whether you should move on to other sexual partners. Sometimes, people are often influenced into being together due to their friends, it is their peer pressure which is pushing them and if they are very easily influenced and have a weak heart, they will succumb to what their peers want and not what they want. This is the point I would like to elaborate the most because this is a point I feel does not apply to 95% of us including me. A lot of us would base on looks before getting interested in someone, if a person has an irritable face or an ugly body, there is a high chance we won't continue pursing the person even if she is the best and down to earth person you know. In every relationship, I believe that looks play a very important part, but of course character also plays a huge part, this person may be the most sexiest, hot and pretty girl you have met in your entire life, but if her character is bad, I am sure you would not want her to be your life partner.
  11. Like what some of the members have said. Use Audacity, it is an open sourced audio editing software, and I have used it on several occasions to cut some mp3 to put into my mobile as a ring tone. Most importantly, it is a free software so all the functions available to you at no cost, no need for any trials or any rubbish such as that. The simple cut and paste, if you want to do some music. And of course, you would need to get yourself on the hands of the LAME mp3 encoder dll, it is needed if you want to export your audacity project files into mp3 or any format which is on offer by Audacity. It is also free, so just google it and you can find it. With regards to Audacity, just go to https://sourceforge.net/ and search for Audacity. You won't go wrong with it
  12. To decide which would be more suitable for you, it depends on what you are going to be using your laptop for. Of course the external wireless card is going to be better in terms of connectivity and signal strength. But it is also going to be a physical hindrance if you are going to be moving from place to place. Imagine bringing your laptop, charger, mouse (if you use 1) and a wireless card. On top of that, there could be your peripheral devices as well. The internal wireless card in laptop would be the most preferred especially if you are traveling very often. Then again, it can't match the external wireless card in terms of connectivity and signal. But most wireless networks have strong enough signals for you to connect without much problems. I myself is using an internal wireless card, Intel Wireless BG 2200, and it is pretty alright, I have never been disconnected from any wireless networks I am connected to.

  14. Could you make his face a little brighter because it seems a little dark? Thanks in advance
  15. Definitely the first one, it looks the best out of the 3. I do think the 3rd design isn't complete because only the header is being shown but not the body and footer. But I think there could be a flaw in the design, I was viewing the site and there was a horizontal scrollbar, I am using the resolution 1152 * 864 pixels and with the bookmarks on my left, it seems that your page was designed with a specific width, it would be great if you can make your page to be able to suit resolutions like 800 * 600 and even 1152 * 864 if they have the bookmarks toolbar on the left like me.
  16. I live in SingaporeEverything is really good in terms of safety and natural disaster but I would rate it at 7.5/10 because of the sports coverage they have here. An over abundance of EPL and no Serie A.But other than that, the economy is competitive and is one of the top countries when it comes to cleanliness and safety. I couldn't have asked for better.
  17. From what I understand, you damaged the laptop when you got it accidentally? If that is the case, I think it could be down to the small impact occurring on the laptop. 1 thing which I have realised while using Vaio was that it is very fragile, at least my model (VGN-FS25GP), I am sure the new laptops are all equipped with the shockproof warranty. I simply had a knock on my laptop and the port whereby you plug your audio output to was damaged and it needed re-soldering. Don't drag any longer, send it to the repair center, what I hate most is a new laptop barely even half a year and it is damaged.
  18. http://www.soccervision.co.uk/ I am not the owner of the forum, but I am part of the staff and I hope to get some feedback on our site as well as our forum. You can access the forum at http://www.soccervision.co.uk// Hope to get some positive feedback from you guys
  19. Can you do me a Valon Behrami signature? He is a player of S.S. Lazio and his pictures can be found on behrami85.com. I hope to have an eagle in the background as well. Thanks in advance to who is helping me
  20. I am honestly sick of windows with all its flaws and things like that. I have been wanting to try a Mac OS for a very long time and now with the bootcamp feature, it makes it even better. I am not an avid gamer, I only play the occasional MMORPG; Silkroad, is it supported for a Mac? Even if it isn't, I would be able to run it smoothly when I use bootcamp right? I do a lot of graphics and I would love to go into video editing someday, but then again how do I compare the speeds of a Mac and a Windows system? What am I required to know and which component to take note of? Any help would be appreciated.
  21. I have a Sony Vaio for about 1 yr 4 months now, and I have never encountered such a problem. Since it is a new laptop, I suggest you bring it to the the Vaio HQ, ask them to do a quick check for you. You would not need to pay for the repairs because I am sure they gave you a 1 year warranty for any defects in the computer.
  22. Can any of the graphics experts here do me of a footballer named Valon Behrami. He is a player of the Italian team S.S. Lazio You can find a pictures of him from his official site at http://www.behrami85.com/ and feel free to do any design you wish.
  23. Apparently, this Semagic is fitted for LiveJournal, I tried setting up for http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ but I am not sure how to configure the settings.
  24. IT-savvy people will definitely use security for their networks. But for those who did not, they risk getting their internet stolen by others, it is not legally wrong but it is personally wrong as you are using something what others paid for free.
  25. I was just browsing through apple.com and took a look at the specs of the iMac. I would like to know how do we actually read a iMac Specs http://www.apple.com/imac/ Is a Mac 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo better than a Windows 3.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo? How do I know which is the memory of the iMac? Can any experts enlighten me on this?
