Actually, there is a reason to discuss this. Search engine sites like Google, and lower companies rely on customer feedback in order to elevate their levels. With communities discussing them out there, they easily find what they need to do in order to improve themselves. It is, in my eyes, the best CEO system.

What Do You Think About Making An OS ?
twitch replied to infamousflame's topic in Websites and Web Designing
You're off your rocker if you consider making it. It may be ok fiddling around with an existing OS (I have to say Linux, or this discussion would be open to legal implications), but to make an OS from scratch is idiotic for one person. It takes Microsoft (with a very large team of dedicated - but apparently not so clever - team) years to make an OS. -
Cube Domain: A Word About Indians & Their English
twitch replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in General Discussion
I think it actually depends on people taking their time and putting effort into it. A lot of people, including the west and east do have very good English skills. However, it is the application of such that is often the illegible *crap* that we see.I have noticed on alot of forums, people often mix-up texting short-hand with typing, this also the case with IRC and IM.If people took their time and put the necessary effort into it, then much confusion across so many comunities wouldn't occur (as frequently). For me, it takes longer to type in short hand or in 133t, becuase I am not used to it. (If you don't know what 133t is, take a hyke to wikipedia). When texting however, I can only "type" in short hand/133t, because I am used to it. -
A Very Very Happy Diwali To All Of You
twitch replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in General Discussion
Can I not spell, Dappy lol. I copied this thread and put it into Antilost. You'd hate it even more here m^e, not only does not appear on the calendar, no-one even celebrates it (in mass). And trust me, there is a lot of Indians compared to Pakistani's and other Muslims.I have only seen examples of Diwali (the festival of lights as it is more commonly known over here) in R.E at school (when I forced to take it ). It looked on whole, more chearful and more meaningful than Ede, and did not seam as devoubt. People from all walks of life were joining in, even when they were obviously not Hindu. -
What Are The Free Online Games/RPG You Play ? free online rpg
twitch replied to JohnNitro's topic in Computer Gaming
I tried playing RuneScape the other day and I couldn't, the damn thing wouldn't load me in properly. And Mizuki, that is a lot of games, do you even work/school? -
No wonder you got banned. The site is polish, and therefore useless to those that don't speak a word of it.There are pop-ups and in-document flashy things that are REALLY annoying. And the site looks as though it was thrown together by a blind and VERY stupid five legged piggity freak.

I like the My Chemical Romance one the most. This is not irony, before anyone goes on at me, but my preferred style of design. I love simplicity with the hints of subtle genious. Adding thousands of textures and such to a sig, just to make it more "gamey" is not my idea of design, in fact it is closer to ordered chaose. I think your FBBINGER sig needs a little rework, the stars class with the squares and is slightly repulsive.Anyway, what you have done is much better than what I could come up with (I am useless at Photoshop).

A Very Very Happy Diwali To All Of You
twitch replied to miCRoSCoPiC^eaRthLinG's topic in General Discussion
Dappy Diwali to everyone. Although I am not Indian, but hay.At the moment, Ede is starting, so my city is preparing for that. Personally, I like the looks of Diwali better, but that is my thoughts. -
Fat Guy Dancing On The Streets Fat Guy for the Win.

I personally think it is sad, gaining a relationship from the likes of dating companies. If you are really that desperate, then no wonder you are alone. The video must be biased against Firfox, becuase I have had troubles with it. dynsrc is dynamic source. As for it's use, it was depreciated in CSS2 and HTML 4.0.1 -
Yahoo! are too behind. Google launched its version ages ago and can not be beaten, except by BlinkX, but that it is different (in the fact that it was designed by a company with only one goal in life). Yahoo! need to have a re-haul of everything. There software and website need a major update of IMPROVEMENT.

Bittorrent Received $8.75 Million Support
twitch replied to jedipi's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I personally prefer Shareaza. It connects to Gnutella2, E-Donkey 2k an Gnutella (1). The searches are fast, and becuase of the link with E-Donkey, there are millions of users.Azureus; league of its own. And I don't mean this in a good way. For windows it's GUI needs re-doing (wait, they actually have a GUI?) and is as un-usable as Microsoft Internet Explorer. -
Unfortunately, spam can't be blocked (It can with third-party software, but that is only in the case of POP3 access). As for as I am aware (I have only used the email service in CP once, even then it was just to sign-up for something ), there is a junk folder (or name to that effect) where you can store spam. However, spam is only allowed access to your e-mail if you have your e-mail address loosely seen.

Need Further Information On Bill Gates' Speech
twitch replied to Kid Saiyan's topic in Science and Technology
M^e hit it on the head. With the way Gates is going, there will be no more Microsoft, however this is not the point I am making, moving on.I personally believe that with the increase of technology, society will eventually go down on itself. I have noticed that, throughout the past decade or so (through hearing and seeing instances of socialism) that the world is on a rapid slope. Downwards. Soon, we will be beating each other with clubs, not becuase we had a nuclear war, as that guy depicted (I think it was Einstein, but don't hold me to it) destroying everything, but because people are becoming insesantly pathetic. While technology rises, social laws lowers. So what am I getting at? Technology may become that advanced that we will no longer use CD/DVD etc, but with the way things are going, no-one is going to use the new interfaces anyway. Am I saying that there is no point? No. I am simply stating that society has to move on with technology, not against it. -
a9.com, it searches using all of the major (9) search engines, including Google. When I want more accurate results, I type in the coding into the address bar of Google (saves time as apposed to using advanced feature).

Building Your Own TV / Movie Projector ( Very Cheap )
twitch replied to golgothurteen's topic in Hardware Workshop
Well here in pretty old England, projectors can be as cheap as £140. At my school, we recently became a Maths and Computing College (status), Leading Edge Mentor and several other things. They brought in over a quarter of a million british sterling in funding. So, now every classroom has an interactive whiteboard and projector. The projectors only cost £140 each. And before anybody says that it was only that price because it was due to bulk buy, such specialised items can not be bulk baught, nor do schools get discounts on them. -

Paper Thin Video Screen The morning news video?
twitch replied to kaputnik's topic in Science and Technology
Not really too good to be true. Sony are experimenting with a new compact disk, that is made out of bio-degradable paper. It can contain more data that a DVD disk and is more secure than ever. Once you cut it from centre to edge (radius) then it is impossible to collate the data. If I find the article, I will post the link.As for the fragility of the new screen (paper), something doesn't need to be fragile if it is thin. Depending on what material it is made out of, it could be stronger than a titanium rod. -
Internet Pilfering Into Every Aspect Of Our Lives

And how useful is this topic? Very, because we can all sleep now that we know how clever the Japanese are. -
Hey trian, welcome to the club, or community, whichever takes your fancy.Look forward to seeing the business economics posts and your website, it sounds interesting. Notice from HTML_Guru: No worries, guy; I handled your typo and have deleted the other two now "obvious" unnecessities.

RoboCop was one sad dude. He really was depressing. A robot that would tell me how to make millions of pounds in under an hour would be my savient.

I blame Fireworks. It is useless at making signatures :)I think Sig-Michael sounds cool, but it wouldn't look as good. -
Sizes In Webdesign: Em Vs. Px and why em is better
twitch replied to ruben1405241511's topic in Websites and Web Designing
This is a great tutorial. I am still learning bits of CSS, that I could not pick up from anywhere, and this em business is something I never understood, I thought it was just another form of pt. -
