  1. Thanks for that. Being mostly into design, I prefer to think that it holds precidence. However, retrospectively looking, I believe that Design and Content are equals.
  2. Java or javascript, while they may sound the same, they are completely different. One is a scripting language used mainly for the web, the other is a programming language to build applications. HTML is really easy when you start to use CSS mostly. I have finally figure out how to use divisions <di> and let me tell you, it clear's up the whole page. You can only get so far with HTML, then you have to start wondering into other areas, like javascript, and then more with PHP or ASP. Eventually, you can build anything (in time). The source that has helped me through the way, is me really. I took apart loads of sites and saw how they worked. But for others, it might not work that way. So, your best bet is http://www.w3schools.com/ they have the most professional and clear way of describing the works.
  3. It is a regular occuring problem, it is just the manager getting confused. Don't worry about it.
  4. Right, can someone fill me in. Why call it Office 12? Is this the actual 12th version or is it a random number?I currently have MSOffice 2003 Profession full edition, and I think it is great. The features it has allows me to create more dynamic pages quicker and easier than before. I would never recommend MSOffice XP, if you're going for an earlier verion, then use MSOffice 2000.
  5. In the beginning, P2P software of any sort was legally sound. It was the actual people that submitted copyrighted files through it that were the ones that could only get done. But first the police had to find them. However, now is a different story. If the P2P software (of any sort) is used to transmit copyrighted files without consent, then they are liable under new online legislation. Recently, several P2P software has been taken off the shelf. And some have been sued tremendously. The owners rightly protest that it is the people that use it who should get done and not them, which I agree, but it is not to be. By making bittorrent closed source software, they are no longer subdue to legal issues. Unless they obviously break a law. The company that owns bittorrent knows that it can not retain the open source versions and are more than likely going to shut down the servers that control them.
  6. Then the quick launch's become cluttered. You're damned either way really.
  7. Is amnesia an airborn disease, because it is spreading like wild-fire. People are forgetting a lot. And PureHeart, please go to the best lengths to complete a tutorial, so far you have showed something that I, as a PHP dunce can do. Quatrux, your post was slightly confusing. The list I believe can be dynamically generated at the time of the first execution of the script. I believe it is the first three numbers that defines the place. Although I am not sure. Alternatively, if you have some kind of login system, that holds users details then you can just use PHP to access the database and cross-reference the IP with the member.
  8. Giving the number of typo-s you usually make when posting here on Xisto, is this your actual creation, or have you just copied it from someplace?
  9. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ are the makers of that muonline. If you check out this site, then you will have access to all the mmorpg they have made. There is quite a list.
  10. On a forenote, I have tested this site and you need the following requirements to meet to live up to its demanding processors.1.0 GHz or better processor256 Mb of RAM32 Mb of Video Ram
  11. Cheatbook database? As in a database of cheats? Please be more specific and give as much detail as possible.
  12. You need to give the disk space usage a couple of days or so to refresh. Don't worry, if you know you haven't used that much then no problems. If it doesn't work out, then the email I have given below will help.support@Xisto.com
  13. I think it would be a good idea if you made the e-mail address a little more public. That way, when people do run into trouble like this, they can automatically send an email.
  14. Knowledge leads to power, and power leads to corruption. The governments around the world are more than likely studying EMP in such detail because of the militarial possibilites with it. However, scientists are studying it because of the number of physic laws that are involved. Unlocking those laws and theories is their main priority.
  15. OR use a graphics editor, use the draw text function, type in your words, format and save the canvas as...
  16. SMF, although I don't like it, is a very good forum. When PHPBB3 is released, then I will probably use that. But until then, I still have a copy of vBulletin.
  17. I am agnostic. I believe that there are beings out there that far-surpass our current form. Perhaps they exist as energy. But what I don't believe in is God, and the prophets. I will not say why, as it will more than likely cause a lot of trouble.
  18. Your hosting credits need to be at 31 or more in order to obtain the upgrade. Simply make an upgrade request, and they will issue with a token which you then use in the process.
  19. It is alright having 1Tb of data storage, but who would fill that up?
  20. Here is the direct link to the graphics (video) cards: http://www.planetmicro.co.uk/results_cat.a20Cards&sort=az
  21. If you are willing to buy online and pay shipping costs, then planetmicro.co.uk is a good place to start. It was set-up from a member that holds the UK's largest computer fair (happens every Saturday and Sunday) in the Bowler's Expedition Centre (manchester). The site sponsors the event. And provides catering, as well as hardware. All the electronics there are very cheap. A very good tower (including components) can be bought at about ÂŁ180 (multiply by 1.75 to get USD). http://www.planetmicro.co.uk/ The best place to buy computer components is a computer fair, and you are given a reciept with each purchase, so you can return it the following week.
  22. As described by the set-up page, there are several ways of entering the Control Panel. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ You must use the cpanel username you signed up with during the process. If you still can't use it, then PM OpaQue.
  23. There are two myspace.Firstly is msn myspace (or msn space) and the second is myspace (simply). They both provide free 'webpages' that holds a community of people together. It is very simple to use and set-up. I don't really understand the whole need for it.
  24. Great info. And for those who regularly buy webdesigner magazine, a similar article was featured in there, but with about 3 more pages of detail.
