According to the results of AV, Kaspesky is by far the best anti-virus solution. However, don't load all your eggs in one basket. I use CA eTrust Antivirus, and nothing gets on the machine. However, this does not mean it can't. I suggest you get two or three antiviruses (if you can), that way you keep your system going. I know antiviruses can conflict, but I have only seen that happen with Norton rubbish.

For antivirus, I use CA eTrust Ez Antivirus, it is small, powerful and fast, just what I need. I would recommend to anyone to get this, at only $20 (or so) for registration of the product (indefinately), it is not bad (plus the constant auto-matic updates).As for anti-spyware, I use a two, as they miss things from each other. I use Spybot S&D and Adaware. When setting up Spybot, don't use the immunize, I did and my system literrally went on super-defense mode. I couldn't even access java games.And for my firewall, I use the all-time favourite, Zonelabs Zonalarm. I think it is great, and nobody can change my mind.At one point, I did McAfee suite, but then I realized that haven't all your bases covered with one porgram set, can be useless. That is why I use a variety of software/freeware to defend my computer.

I have the full version, which only costs $20 or so for a license (compare that to the likes of Norton). If you combine your antivirus, antispyware and firewall, you should never have any problems, so an antivirus that has 99.65% results, that costs hundreds of british sterling is uselss.

As I understand it, XBOX, being a Microsoft product, will contain en embedded OS, to make it work. Now, this embedded OS will be by Microsoft. As Microsoft are the sole propierters to XBOX, I would think putting Linux onto a Microsoft product would be illegal.Linux is funded by many organisations and lone donators, therefore, it essentially is a company as the money must be going somewhere. There are millions of dollars in the Linux program, and it will grow.------moving on-------I personally use Emulators on the PC in order to play games that have been made for the PS2, XBOX or GameCube. Although, I do this in a blue-moon occasion. I finder it a lot cheaper than buying the console.

A school is an organisation, therefore should have a detailed and well designed website. The reason you probably had a slow loading time is because of the size of your images, in Fireworks you can compress images, which in affect helps a lot. And if http://www.clintonville.k12.wi.us/ is your schools website, it really needs re-doing. A picture of a Fire-engine is a little OTT, especially when it is fake. Try going for something either classical or technical, depending on your school type. The subpages look a lot better than the home page.

The specs for Xbox have always been low, yet for some reason, the graphics quality is high, personally, I don't understand how this is so.Anyway, putting Linux on an XBox, may have legal issues. If Microsoft have the grounds to, they can take this organisation and the Linux kernal Company to court. Then where would Linux be?Personally, I would not like Linux on an XBox, although I do not have one, it is still better to know that my machine is as-is. A college? xboxrulz, if you became a game designer (and developer) you could be earning £30,00 annually and a company car (taken from advert ) As a game designer, and taking the course in it, employers would expect you to be able to program/design for Windows and the other large OS. Becuase Linux is a freeware based system, it will be slightly harder to find a company that will pay you a good wage to make games for Linux. Although the market is out there, and you would do well to start now, there are not so many companies with specialists in designing games for Linux. The graphics were not bad on the 360, and I was quite impressed. The PS3 results, I have not seen yet and expect it just to be a slight improvement on performance from the PS2 (with the added features). GameRevolution: as far as I am aware, there have been no OFFICIAL spoilers of what anything looks like except the actual console, as for this new controller, it sounds large and cumberson, I wonder how well that will go down with gaming fans. I actually liked the Nintendo GameCube, and believe it or not, 4" CD media can hold more than you think. If you read the articles given and the technical information, they can hold anything (depending on manufacturer) up to 4Gb of data storage. I have used several of these disks (for burning music and such) and they are quite neat. They work in any player/disk drive and for me, are much better than their larger 8" counter-part. It is either the 360 or PS3 that comes out 3 hours after the other one, which is slightly conning of the one that gets released last, because even a short gap like that, puts some question into peoples mind's about performance and system specs.
