 myCENT stats (since forum upgrade to v3.0) :P

web_designer made 46 USD from 443 posts. [HIGHEST]

truefusion leads by making 32 USD from 89 posts.

rpgsearcherz gets 31 USD from 160 posts.

k_nitin_r gets 23 USD from 98 posts.

first of all, those stats are not accurate since mine will not be updating anytime soon and i should be on that list :)and i made the majority of my posts before i was ever warned and wasn't my fault that the credit system wasn't working. web designer is clearly the winner from the list with the most mycents AND the most posts. but credit has to go to truefusion as well. so on a lighter note, i will do some more calculations....

webdesigner averaged 10 cents a post

truefusion averaged 36 cents a post

rpgsearcherz averaged 19 cents a post

k_nitin_r averaged 23 cents a post

so with these new statistics, and assuming we are going by our Xisto motto that quality is better than quantity, truefusion wins by a landslide! but it was always the quantity and the respect and loyalty from wd that has kept the forum alive. i think they are both winners and the rest of you need to catch up! :)

i am hoping for an increase in traffic now that the mycents are working again! thanks opaque!

Wow, pretty cool updates there. That shows beyond a doubt that your post quality is in fact counted (as opposed to not having proof before, where people still thought the more posts = the better).Seeing that I'm on that list and my earnings per post is above a couple of the others makes me feel a little more confident about my quality, :P.

Ah so finally we are back on track :) Thanks a lot OpaQue for all the hard work you've put in through all these days. It was a sweet surprise to wake up in the morning and see my account suddenly swimming in myCENTs :) I did a quick calculation and found out that the quality of my posts is around 12 cents per post :P So I guess it's time to do some real posting from now onwards. So see you all in the forum and I hope the new system comes out of BETA soon enough!

Awww man... I didn't make it into the list.I think i made a whole bunch of posts during the last 2 months... I probably didn't get much money because I have a lot of 'awww' and '...' in my posts. Oh, Well! I might I have been added up there if you added like 2 or 3 people down the list.

Wow... TrueFusion wins by the margin with all the quality. Although, Web has the least quality, it's probably because she doesn't add many keywords into her posts like 'car' or 'hp laptop'. I think thats how the quality gets calculated and of course, the amount of grammatical mistakes you add to your posts. I for one, don't care about the quantity really, cause people can go around making 'em one liner posts and all we have to do is posts a few with loooong words and wikipedia links lol :D Now I can post to my hearts content!

I also think that there should be a Top myCent Earner list for the week/month... It could be excited to see people posting like CRAZY to be on the top, I bet I would post like hell to get on there.

I think we will see the next few days to see if we have a TRAFFIC SPIKE that gets the traffic more than 25th June. I'm really gonna start to get my post count up and get more quality on the roll up the hill. I will probably start up some INTERESTING topics in the next few days.

@OpaQue - Don't forget the announcement. You better post it before BuffaloHelp 'steals your thunder' like last time lol... I don't even think BH knows yet LOL

Can I see anywhere how much my posts are worth? (That is, not counting this one :D).

It's really easy Little A. But anwiii just did a rough estimate of it. If you want to calculate yours, take the number of posts that you made since the update and divide it by the number mycents you got after the upgrade. For example, web_designer made 400 posts and got about $40. So you take 400/4 = 10. It's pretty simple. The hard part is finding out how many posts you made since the upgrade.

Oh, man...

I thought there is something that does that for the admins. I'm not that eager to find out that I would like to go through all the posts and everything. :)

Thanks anyway ;)

not exactly deadmad you reversed the #'s. you divide the smaller # from the big one so in web designers case, she earned $46. you divide that by how many posts she made which in this case was 443. 46/443 = .1038 which averages out to 10 cents per post.little A- you don't have to go through your whole posts. your posts are posted on your profile. although some members posts don't count for mycents, it will still give you a rough estimate. then you take your total amount of mycents earned which should also be posted on your profile and you do the math :) it will kinda give you a rough estimate of the quality of posts you make. the higher the mycents per post = higher quality according to the algorythm. from there, you can figure out about how many posts you need to make to get anough mycents for a domain and hosting and the nver ending question of "how many mycents do i earn per post" is now answered.

anwiii, again you are making a wrong calculating in here, because according to you, all my posts are equal in size and numbers or lines and this is not true as you know. i could get 10 cents for a post about 2 or 3 lines but i would definitely get about 50 cents for a post about 10 lines.

therefore your math here is wrong because you use wrong data, all your inputs not equal therefor your output shouldn't be equal too :) .

as you know not all my posts containing only "thanks for sharing" ;) .

Oh.. shucks! Can't believe I even made that mistake  Thanks for correcting me lol... I should edit that before more people find out that I'm stupid... :D Edited by deadmad7 (see edit history)

How is that wrong? It's the average of all the posts that you have made. So, it is correct. I think you are getting confused because you are saying that sometimes you write bigger posts and sometimes less -- but we aren't talking about each and every post here, just the rough estimate of ALL your posts. The math IS correct and it IS correct data, but it isn't the exact thing -- you exactly have a average of little more than 10 cents per post.

may data isn't wrong but thanks for sharing wd :). the key word is AVERAGE. i didn't say this was an exact figure per post and you will get that much for each post you make, but see, the next 443 post you make, i bet your AVERAGE will still be around .10 since 443 is a pretty high # to determine such an average. 500 is better but 443 is good enough. look in your profile and you will see your average posts per day. you have an average of about 5 posts per day but that doesn't mean you will post that exact amount tomorrow haha. it's an AVERAGE and that average will not fluctuate up or down that fast since you have already established a good average with a high # of posts already.it's just like a coin flip. the average time it will land on heads is 1 out of two times. that doesn't mean if it lands on tails, the next flip will land on heads. it's an average and it's based on the law of averages. also, figuring out these averages is really good if you want to make more money in the casinos like i do :) very usefull.deadmad- i thought you were a straight A student.... :) and 400/4 = 100 not 10 haha do you need mosre rest today? :)

sorry but both of you are wrong, you can't calculate the average of different data inputs, if you want the real average then you should separate each post according the amount of lines it contain in groups and calculate the average of each group. this is how you calculate the average, for example we calculate the average of a student degrees which all of them between 0-100, we get the summation and divide it on the number of the courses he took. but we can't do the same if he has one or two courses between 0-50 then we should get their average separately. same like posts in here, hope you get me in here. seems like both of you are bad in math :) .
