AJAX is a combination of client-side (javascript) scripting and a server-side script (php or asp). Both (or either) php and asp work. Use the client side to request information from the server, ie: database information. The server side script could be php or asp. The calling of the server-side script, and handling of the resulting data, is what the javascript does. Whether you use asp or php as your server-side really makes no difference to the javascript. Google should find loads of search:asp AJAX tutorials. example: http://ajax.net-tutorials.com/

what happens if you connect the laptop to your connection point with a network cord? are you able to get the internet with a catv cable?if so, then the ndiswrapper would be the answer since your network card is being recognized.

The white text on dark background looks good, but the older folks might not be able to read it easily. Also, the font could be a bit larger. Using "control +" to increase the font blows the design out of shape. For the contact form, add the respondent's name as well as the email address to make the connection between "lovergal34@aol.com" and your granny type gal who you might know as Mrs Smith.

Black & Dacker Accu Drill And Screw Driver Unlucky warranty
jlhaslip replied to knowlet's topic in General Discussion
Being a Tradesman/Carpenter by training, I use tools on a regular basis, so my opinion should be recorded here.Black and Decker are okay for many things, depending on the regularity of use. Home Owners would get along with them okay. Dewalt is actually made by the same company as Black and Decker. B & D bought Dewalt a few years ago. Then B&D dropped making the top-end professional tools and the Dewalt brand is for the true Professional users. They each contain the same technologies, but Dewalt is tougher and stronger, built to do the job all day/every day. Previously, I had a B&D Pro saw that worked well for 22 years until it needs a couple of parts, but the parts were unavailable due to the machine's age. I almost cried when I lost that saw. After that length of time it felt like an extension to my arm and would highly recommend it to anyone. B&D Model 3037 Builder's Saw Cat by name. Built in the day when B&D offered a Professional line of tools.I own a couple of Ryobi tools, too, but not the ones I use almost every day. A Portable Table saw and a biscuit joiner which I use "occasionally" in the shop.Milwaukee is the Tools of choice, but they are generally more expensive. I use a Milwaukee 7 1/4" saw and the one I own now is my second one. Also, I have a 10 " Milwaukee saw for cutting timbers and a 3/8 " drill that is probably the best drill I have ever owned. Lots of power in it.Makita makes a good tool, too. I own several of them. 1/2 " Drill, sander, jig saw.For Battery Drills, I am using a brand that is "off-shore" and I think only available in Canada. "KING" Tools make a respectable cordless drill. Enough power for many jobs, 2 speed, clutched drive, reversible, variable speed, 2 batteries and charger included. The reason I use them is that this $100 drill is work the same as a Milwaukee battery drill after they have fallen off the peak of a roof, and it has happened several times to me. Why spent $400 on the best tool out there when I can do the same job with a $100 tool? The $100 drill works fine for me. I've been using them for several years now, so I have an accumulation of batteries and chargers because I always buy the 14.4 volt ones and usually in pairs. I buy 2 at the same time so that the parts are interchangeable if something bad happens to them. The messed up ones I keep in the shop for handy jobs. -
Internet Loading How to Load my Page faster?

I would down-size that to under 200K. I assume you mean your current file is 12 Megabytes? That is huge. -

Sounds like a good solution for Windows and Mac, but Linux is not supported. -

Which anti-virus are you running? Try a different one to see if you are infected with something that your AV is not catching. I suggest NOD-32 from https://www.eset.com/us/ Trial download is here: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

News to me about the chainsaw dude, and that Bus guy was found not competent to stand trial. I note also that he was Chinese, not Canadian. Mentally disturbed people aside, I think we in Canada are less likely to become violent. It might be due to there being less guns around and a generally less tolerant attitude towards gun ownership in general.

Just curious why the 911 dispatcher didn't send a cruiser in this time frame. 10 minutes is a long time to be threatened by this fellow before shooting them dead. Did she warn the guy that she was on the phone to the Emergency Services? Was he aware that the Police were en route? No warning shot to scare them off? I think this should be sent to trial and let a Jury decide the outcome, otherwise the shooting of people becomes rampant, but then again, I don't live in the USA. We are much more civilised in Canada...

Lightweight Cms For Blogging

Google for sNews CMS or go here: http://snewscms.com/ -
The negative mycents can occur when a Posting gets sent to the Spam Bucket or when a posting gets deleted. The Mycents script deducts the previously earned Mycents. That is the only way your Mycents can go negative. *wait* Mycents also get adjusted when a posting is edited by yourself or by a Mod/Admin. An example would be in cases where we add quote or code bbcode tags to sections of your posts in order that the posting meets the Xisto readme guidelines.

No, I think you need to submit a support ticket and ask to have your IP unbanned. If you tried to login three times without success, I'm certain the IP gets banned.Support can reklease the ban fairly quick, once the ticket is received. Provide a 'critical' status to the ticket. And fix your FTP password in your local software.

It will go away in time, with good posting.A 10% warning has no impact on your earning and accumulating mycents, etc., however, additional warnings do affect them, so be careful with your postings and do not spam.

I'm fine with Winter. Where I live up in the Frozen North, you need to be okay with it. We get 6 months of winter and 6 months of tough sledding around here. Snow blowers are used more than the lawn mower in any given year. And I can't say that I love it, but I can deal with it. Having so much winter around is one way to thin out the crowds.

Why Do User Interfaces Always Say "welcome!"?
jlhaslip replied to rob86's topic in Science and Technology
What's wrong with using WELCOME as a signal of successfully signing on or booting a machine? And why not use "Hello World!" like most 'first script' attempts??? -
Just used the PM system to reply to one and it went through just fine. No apparent issues from here.
-
No, the system invoices you a few days earlier than your due date and if the mycents are in your account, the invoice will be marked paid. Your account will be 'paid' as per the dates on your actual invoice and your invoice payment will match the time period as per the invoice date. It is not uncommon to have the system take your payment early, but that doesn't change the dates. It happens in the real world the same way. Your hydro bill has a date on it for payment, but often it gets paid a day or two early.

Report: Softaculous Error got these one :o
jlhaslip replied to FouGilang's topic in Web Hosting Support
Softaculous just recently announced a new version and this may not be a warning as such, but an indicator. Did your installation go well? or were you just browsing through?
