It seems to work fine as a collaboration tool, however, the 'Beta' nature of the product, and the lack of availability of accounts creates a problem in that there is not enough coverage for the members of the World Wide Web. If you have a ton of friends or co-workers on the Beta application, and information to collaborate with, it would be fine, but as a general web application, I have almost zero use for it.It is also difficult to search out those who currently are running the application. It needs to have a friend finding side to it, like Skype does or Facebook. On those applications, you can seek out people and connect. I have not found a method to do that in Google wave. Maybe I'll re-visit the account and see if that has been recently added.I'm looking forward to using the facilities, but I can't imagine what I can use it for.By the way, I have Invitations if anyone needs them. Here is a link to a site which has a decent, layman's explanation of the definition of a Recession versus a Depression. http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ A recession is a period of at least two quarters of negative growth in the economy of a country. A depression is generally considered to be a sustained Recession, although they mention that a Depression requires a drop in the country's Gross National Product by a factor of 10% or more. I haven't actually heard that there has been a full "depression". And those Bank failures are due to bad lending practices at the Banks. That can happen even during the good times, too, if the Bank is not careful.

Linux users can install Avidemux to do the conversion from flv to mp3.Of course, you need to download the flv from Youtube. I would suggest a Firefox Add-on named Download Helper for that.

I can't keep track of all he places that Canada has helped throughout the world. The difference is that we don't throw it up into the media main stream.

the way I like ramen noodles is to cook the noodles as per directions above adding some chopped veggies, ie: broccoli, onion, mushroomand near the last 30 seconds, crack an egg into the middle of the pot, stirring enough to just break the yoke. add a spash of soya sauce, possibly a drip of tobasco or whatever you like. give it another light stir and the egg should turn white when cooked.yummy.

I whole heartedly cocur with BH on this point.Global Climate Change is what it should be called. Man has impacted the natural systems of the Planet and the effect is to disturb the weather patterns, kill some plants and animals, poison our water sources and wreak havoc in general. Mudslides, drought, excessive temperatures, flooding, Hurricanes/tornados are being caused by our raping of the resources of the planet. We need to stop doing those things which are killing the world, its people, and its occupants. Plants and animal.

Adding RAM is probably the cheapest way to improve your system's functioning. Firefox was updated for me today to FF 3.5.7 but I didn't have this issue.Do a System Update to see if 3.5.7 works better for you.

"Global Warming" is a misnomer. "Climate Change is the correct word. It has to do with the change in the atmosphere, pollution, and other impacts on the physical environment caused by Man's interaction with the Earth's natural systems. Like a pot of water on a stove, it takes some time to get it boiling, but once it does, even if you turn the heat off, the boiling continues. For one thing, we need to reduce (if not stop) using Hydro-carbon based fuels and become more aware of our impact on the earth's natural systems. The energy we burn ends up with consequences. Weird weather patterns is just the tip of the iceberg. (pardon the pun)
