  2. I don't know about RSE Packs, but look here http://www.hammersound.net/ and browse the Library. They are more realistic sounding instruments freely available. I'm not sure if you can use Soundfonts in GP5 but I think you might be able to. If not, you could look for another software to do it. I just glanced at this page http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/archive/index.php/t-426177.html It is a discussion of GP5 and sound fonts. I didn't read it, so it might be useless..but see if there is anything useful.
  3. You could try the OpenSUSE Linux LiveCD. I heard that distribution has good support for hardware. It recognized a couple things Ubuntu didn't detect for me, but maybe I was just lucky. Wouldn't be too much effort to pop the cd in and try if you don't get any other replies.
  4. gilfugcd was one of the things that run on startup? No idea what it is, but there's no match on Google for it so could be a bunch of random letters used by a virus. Any more information on it? Is it under services or the other tab? What is the path to it on your harddrive if it has one? Does it show a "Manufacturer" ?
  5. Good job getting rid of the virus. Make sure you check this also for the virus if you haven't already:Click Start button --> RUN --> Type in "msconfig" This will open a window, look for both a "Start-up" tab and "Services" tab. In addition to the Start-up folder, viruses can sometimes be found these two different parts of windows and will come back when you reboot. Look for anything suspicious.
  6. Interesting artwork, I like your unique style. It's really vibrant Click the Insert Image button (looks like a photo icon) or type lyrics.url.com Like this: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4123/4855791385_a5cdb1760d.jpg

  13. Does anyone play any RTS games? I have a few, and it'd be nice to have someone to destroy. I don't usually play with random people because it's too frustrating (I spend more time sitting in the lobby than playing just to have someone have connection problems when the game DOES start).I have a few RTS games in my collection, Medieval Total War, Rome Total War, Tiberium Wars, Company of Heroes.. and some other ones including older ones. If anyone is interesting in playing let me know. I don't really care what game. I have all these games and nobody to annihilate My skills in all these games are pretty limited, so don't be intimidated. I doubt I'll have StarCraft 2 for a while.. I usually let games drop in price before buying, but you never know.
  14. Some foods have a lot of calories, but aren't necessarily bad for you (Beans for example). I think Fat is another thing you should be looking at. It's the stuff they say clogs your arteries. I think some fat/oil is good, but too much is getting into unhealthy territory. Trans Fat has been being phased out of food products in Canada for years. I don't know if other countries take the Trans-fat problem seriously. You should check out some Diet software that lets you log what you eat and shows statistics of the vitamins/fat you're getting. I used to use diet software not because I wanted to lose weight, but because I wanted to experiment with healthy eating. It shows where you're being excessively unhealthy too and don't want to admit it. For example, I like ice cream. I normally eat a huge bowl of it, but really 1/2 cup is a serving. Since I was logging my eating habits for all to see, I realized I was being a pig and cut it down to 1/2 cup and it satisfied me. I also noticed the importance of eating a bowl of Cereal.. Of course, my diet logging only lasted 2 or 3 months and I went back to eating unhealthy..but I digress...
  15. Starcraft II is being released in a few days. It's probably the game release I've been most interested in. I don't get too excited about game releases anymore, but Warcraft 2 and Starcraft made such huge impressions on me when I was young that it's hard not to be curious how the next generation of StarCraft will be. I'm going to share an (not really) interesting story to celebrate the release of Starcraft 2.When I was young I didn't know much about games, I just played them. I used to save up my money to buy 10 game packs or 25 game packs. Sometimes I would split this game pack with my uncle (who probably took the best games, seeing as half the games I got weren't even games). Once in a while I'd get a good game like Commander Keen or DOOM, but that's it....and then I saw WarCraft 2. I just stumbled on and downloaded the demo. I downloaded the demo and played it over and over. I even tried the map editor. Finding that hidden map editor in the folder was like discovering a secret treasure. I opened it up and saw all the units and terrains that the demo didn't offer me. I was drooling with anticipation, I HAD to have this game. I created map after map, just to delete them (no save feature). I saved up my chore money for this expensive game (remember, it cost twice as much as the 25 game packs I used to buy) and made my first online purchase off the official Blizzard website.I don't know why I didn't just get it in the local store, but whatever. I remember arguing with my dad over it. "Why pay that much for one game when you can get 25 for half the price?? I didn't give you money to throw away like that!!!"The game took months to arrive. I have NO idea why. I guess online shopping wasn't so efficient then. Surprisingly enough, I had eventually forgotten I even ordered the game (I was young, had a short attention span). When it arrived in the mail, my first big package, I was soooo excited. I read the entire manual, even the box, before touching the game. I wanted the experience to last forever. In a way.. it kind of did, because I remember it now? Blizzard games were so much more quality than anything I had ever played. The voice acting, the graphics, even the manuals were quality.Anyway, that little part of my life is forever in my mind and is why I say Blizzard made a huge impression on me. StarCraft was even better, but by then the magic of video games wearing off (but only a little). I might not wet my pants over the release of StarCraft 2, but I sure hope it continues in the line of quality Blizzard games.

  20. Seems there are a few people who have had your problem, if you search on google for "Sony DRU 510A Power Calibration". I never saw a solution but I only had a quick look. Could you try another Disc or brand of Disc? Maybe your dad had some old ones left? Also, check out this page:http://sony.storagesupport.com/product/104%23driversYou might want to run the official Firmware upgrade for your product. Then try their diagnostic tool to see if it provides any information. You could e-mail Sony tech support maybe they'd have a better idea.
  21. Remind me to moidah you later.
