  1. farsiscript, you have recently opened a thread for this very same question. have you gone to read reply posted there lately? will close this one, and just continue discussion in your original thread here: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/38236-how-do-scripts-select-to-be-placed-in-fantastico-question/=
  2. that is what the Xisto README is for: http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?act&CODE=01&HID=18
  3. problem resolved. closed.
  4. it depends if you really want another 3.33 package. but if you think your existing package can still accommodate the requirements of your site (space and bandwidth), with the addition of a new domain (and with a different set of uploads and traffic if it's an ADDON), then that's what PARKED DOMAINS and ADDON DOMAINS features in cpanel are for.
  5. there should be two options in the cpanel: PARKED DOMAINS and ADDON DOMAINS.the basic difference is that parked domains will point to the original site hosted on your hosting space. let's say you originally have domain.com, and you parked your newly-bought domain.net -- domain.net will show the same content as that of domain.com. the URL gets passed on in the viewer's browser, and is useful when you are protecting your online brand for example. so even if you parked domain.net, domain.org, domain.info (or any other extension), it gives the same website content as domain.com.an addon domain on the other hand, will create a new subdirectory for you and point your domain.net to that subdirectory. in that subdirectory, you can create a new site altogether, totally apart from domain.com -- but still on the same hosting space.there should be similar topics on this regard. check the links below, or search the forums with parked and addon domains as keywords.
  6. see if these old threads about FTP with FRONTPAGE can help you: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/23026-ftp-error-with-frontpage-the-server-unexpectedly-closed-the-connection/ http://forums.xisto.com/topic/21551-need-help-uploading-frontpage-pages-can-anyone-helpe-me-please/ (take note of remarks with regards to uploading to public_html) if that still can't help you, you may want to contact an admin to check if you have still the correct login information.
  7. you're more than welcome, garbage. i see your domain is properly configured now, and that your site is up and running.problem resolved, topic closed.
  8. your so-called "disinterestedness" in this forum's hosting services is belied by the fact that you landed here in the first place. second, your apparent inability to follow a simple rule of quoting COPIED text enjoins me to believe you are racing your way to earning more hosting credits necessary to be able to request for hosting! really now, who's kidding who? i exercise my right to publicly quote what you said to me in private. who are you to say i can't? besides i used it to emphasize that what you have been used to in other forums, is NOT what is necessarily you can expect here. BECAUSE IT'S THE RULE for any COPIED content -- hosting-credits-system-wise or not! is it hard to understand that? changelog is not equals to mathematics, that is what i can say. you're just making things complicated for you and muddling up the issue of your inability to follow rules, and copiously copying content from other sites. again, RULES are RULES. and we cant simply assume that you are not interested in Xisto hosting. moreso, it is not an EXCUSE to continuously do so because of your "confessed disinterestedness". we apply the rules, even if you don't want to get hosted here.
  9. yup, panzer. www and public_html are one and the same. you should make your forums directory inside of either. the www just acts as an alias of sorts for public_html.
  10. BECAUSE THIS FORUM USES A HOSTING CREDITS SYSTEM BASED ON YOUR POSTS. and copying contents from other sites without proper BBCODES (eg, QUOTE tags -- enclosed inwhich are not counted by the hosting credits system) is equivalent to CHEATING. you will be earning hosting credits without them quoted. HOWEVER, you can edit your post to add necessary tags. otherwise an admin or moderator will step in and do the necessary changes. AND you will be LOSING more credits when this is done -- MORE than what you've actually earned. THAT IS HOW the system goes. and don't go ranting, as you did in your PM to me: at the very least, try to be respectful in your conversations here (if you're not used to in other forums), and not be a *BLEEP*. Xisto has a different set of rules here, which may be similar to other forums, but DEFINITELY not exactly the same as you're used to in others. familiarize yourself first with Xisto FORUM RULES & TOS:
  11. you still have your domain pointed to yahoo servers as per WHOIS of shadowelite.net Xisto domain nameservers should be your PRIMARY and SECONDARY DNS. your current setup tries to access yahoo nameservers first since it comes before that of Xisto. hence, when you type in your shadowelite.net, it shows the domain parking page of yahoo. Read more on General Domain Settings: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/1263-domains-settings-blah-blah-etc-read-this/ For Complete Instructions And Settings For Hosted Members, go to: http://forums.xisto.com/topic/3438-instructions-settings-for-hosted-members/ rectify your DNS settings for your domain to make Xisto your primary and secondary DNS, then wait for 24 to 48 hours for domain propagation.
  12. merged 3 other GTA San Andreas threads in this oldest thread.
  13. closed. link to hack posted by drinkzya removed.and drinkzya's posting ability DISABLED INDEFINITELY.
  14. so that explains it. you created and processed skaterboarderzone.trap17.com as your final account. anyway, we have now established your working subdomain. returning to your frontpage ftp problem: use the correct spelling of your working subdomain (skaterboarderzone.trap17.com) then tell us if it still is giving you the same problem. obviously you won't be able to access your account if you entered incorrect details. your upgrade request for a bigger hosting space and bandwidth is what is denied for now. you have to earn more hosting credits as required, then re-apply for your upgrade request.
  15. NDPA, this issue was over a year ago already. and there was no need to resurrect the thread. anyway, this is now closed. we appreciate additional input you added, even if issue has obviously has been resolved for a long time already.
  16. seems the working subdomain hosted at Xisto is: skaterboarderzone.trap17.com notice the "r" in red? here is a screenshot of page found: btw, wasn't the initial subdomain you have requested and approved this one: boardzillabbs.trap17.com --> (though this one doesn't seem to work) your recent upgrade request for skaterboarderzone.trap17.com here has not been approved yet from the looks of it. though how it came to be working (based on the screenshot above) without prior approval beats me. again, double-check... if not triple-check everything.
  17. no need to get hot-headed, guys. just cool off for a while. let's just try help each other out if any help is needed. DjLuki, you mean something like this? click the button above to see a thread i made over a year ago on how to do such buttons via an online button maker. you can easily customize your design from there.
  18. there are a score more of themes on https://wordpress.org/themes/. a bit more updated than from link provided above by rvalkass, since it includes the themes from a recently-concluded WP2.0 theme competition. some are even widget-ready already, just filter them through your search there.
  19. READ Xisto README HERE: http://forums.xisto.com/index.php?act&CODE=01&HID=18 closed.
  20. admin buff explained it very clearly, and is hereby resolved. closed.
  21. double-check your FTP address, the username and the password you type in. something is apparently wrong with any of the above you entered in your frontpage ftp settings.
