Giving Compliments I am stuck with nice
networker replied to Jeune's topic in Dating And Relationships
Interchange the word nice with great or beautiful.Get a thesaurus.Women like being compared to flowers it seems.Find out which people she admires and compare her to them. She would probably like that. -
Rarely Used Words. what do you think about them?
networker replied to guhati's topic in General Discussion
I don't think any word really could become obsolete in the English language.Once it's become part of a dictionary, then the word is official, and will be foreverno matter how little it is subsequently used. -
Pirate Bay Found Guilty Of Copyright Charges Argggggh Captain...
networker replied to jlhaslip's topic in General Discussion
It's inevitable that Piratebay would be sued and lose for copyright reasons. This will only cause a small almost unnoticeable dent in the world of illegalsoftware/music copying anyway. -
Hundreds of years from now they'll look at us as still being very primitive, almost cave man like. This whole ethic of work 9 to 5 and kill yourself just for killing your selfis really less than 200 years old.It began with the industrial revolution. Before that most people were rural. The only people that lived in the cities for the most part were politicians, royalty, aristocrats and the like. The average day to day life of the common man was much less stressful. The real work came planting crops and harvesting them.Other than that, they would have a few hours of chores to do everyday and that's it.It meant more time for actual peaceful friendly, human interaction, and much less stress. The industrial revolution meant oppression by the work lords. The same work lords who the anti-globalists are against today.Work lords are greedy selfish bastards who want people to worknot for necessity but for surplus, so the work lords can buy themselves anotheryacht or country home. I'm not a negative person,I'm actually an optimist but I just couldn'thelp but reply to this thread.

Lady Finger For Diabetes Treatment of Sugar (Diabetes)
networker replied to aliawais's topic in Health & Fitness
I don't have diabetes, but even if I did,I don't see any doctor credentials next to your name. It really is dangerous to give out advice like that, and somebody who isn't qualified who does, is most often referred to as a quack. Maybe you meant well but I'd ask a doctor about it. -
Somebody just mentioned that love and friends are free.I don't mean to sound cynical but the only women I've everloved definitely weren't free.Far from it. And friends are true friends in many cases, just so long as youkeep up your expensive hobbies that you have in common with them.Sad but true.

Albert Einstein was a unique individual. He was definitly a rebel.Very smart obviously as well. Just to think he warned the allies about the german threat of atomic weapons during world war 2. I'd believe his brain was different. He had his own thought process.

That is pretty freaky. It just made me paranoid as well.I'm going to brush my teeth right after sending this post.Once you damage your teeth, then that's it.

I can't wait for them to go around the abandoned streets of fallingdown Detroit and take street level pictures.I'm sure the mayor of Detroit will just love that.I think it's an invasion of privacy. At one time google was a handy thing but now they arejust plain intrusive.

Iran Nuclear Testing And What The Us Cannot Afford
networker replied to PsyberMind's topic in General Discussion
It's a complex thing though, thinking about certain countrieshaving nuclear weapons.I mean, would you want everyone who lived onyour block to own a gun?It would make me nervous.Any country owning nuclear weapons only has to make a mistake once.I wouldn't be against an outright ban on developing new nuclear weapons.Where does that leave the us or china though?I'm as confused as you are. -
My favorite cat breed? It has to be the Lion.If I could have a pet Lionthat would be great. It's a little too far fetched of coursebut still. That would be my choice.

Yes.That's true.I almost forgot about them completely. I've had a gun pulled on me in the past one or two twice, and it wasn't exactly about a nice hello either. WW1,WW2,Vietnam,Iraq,Afghanistan, and on and on and on. Humankind has proven to be the most savage animal of them all. Maybe someday they'll put them in a zoo.

Yes.Americans like drinking weak beer and having cook outs and going toball games. They don't go to university, they go to college. They go to Mcdonalds for a burger, not a hamburger. They like football not that game played by a bunch of pansies.Americans don't know what cricket is,but they'invented' baseball. When the U.S dollar is doing good they are all in Canada andin great moods. When the U.S dollar is down you see very few of themand they are all very sad. They call themselves Americans, but to Canadians they are from the states.

I was wondering, what is the most dangerous animal you've been close toin real life?I'm not talking about zoos or anything either.Up in Northern Ontario once or twice we drove to the garbage dumpwhere you could see all kinds of wild black bears and grizzlies there. You wouldn't of wanted to get out of the car.I think that's the closest I've been to a dangerous animal outside of thezoo.Has anybody here ever wrestled any crocodiles or tamed any lions? If so,I'd like to hear about it.

Internet And Long Distance Relationships Just dont do it
networker replied to chaos3932's topic in Dating And Relationships
At least you had a real life relationship with her forsix months, so it wasn't a write off. There is somebody I know, a woman who separated from her husband at the urging of somebody she met online six weeks ago.She has never even met this online person in real life yet butshe is talking like they are planning on spending they're whole life together. It seems strange to me.It's not as though she is fat and ugly either. She is a real good looker.Truth is stranger than fiction.
