  1. My best advice is for you to figure out your exact model and see if you can order a replacement keyboard for your laptop online. If you can order the keyboard yourself I would highly recommend you do so and use user guides online and follow the step by step process they give you for removing parts and replacing them. It may seem like geek work but its purely maintenance and anyone can do it. Here is a example of a random hp laptop guide for replacing its keyboard. I would assume this to be the most inexpensive and only possible route for you to fix your sticky keyboard issue. Hp guide for keyboard removal and replacement Just a example guide I found. if you have anymore questions feel free to ask!
  2. Hey, glad to meet a fellow web design enthusiast!
  3. I used to download torrents from them in the past until the feds started cracking down on the P2P. I am now officially afraid to torrent anything that I am not sure is still subject to copywrite. I do not ever seed torrents I just download but then again its much better to just buy the program rather than trying to steal it or crack it. Not to mention the chance of getting a super virus that kills your pc... I think its pretty obvious that the piratebay deliberately provides illegal torrents. They did not attempt at all to remove illegal programs that were being provided for download on their site.
  4. Hey, my name is Justin and I of course nabbed me a logic plan deal for 1.95$ a month. I have begun to pick up on web traffic, and I now receive donations from my members. So since I can afford paying for upgrades besides having to rack up in mycents. I was wondering how I can upgrade my logic plan? The extra bandwidth is mostly what I am interested in at the moment.
  5. Done, and Done please feel free to take another look! I have done a ton of work on the site and it is looking very smexy at the moment. I still have more work to do far as organizing the site and such, but it is coming along very nicely. http://www.xkaosx.co.nr/
  6. Sorry about the grammar mistakes in my earlier post... However as an follow up. I suppose maybe the rumors are false about ipod(s). Especially the new ones. Although I saw some early generation ipods break so easily just from a small drop or fall. Sansa as I have heard is supposed to be a "fitness" tough mp3 player that can handle the roughness of a active lifestyle. However after just jogging with it for a breif time. Mine just about broke completely.
  7. Think realistically, Not everyone mooches off of Xisto. Eventually at least one fourth of us will upgrade to better accounts and start paying for most of the services that we require. Mycents is too slow and time consuming to make up for the charges necessary for a nice hosted account. It is great for a freebie account of 2$ monthly, being if your the type who needs security; in the fact you can still arrange the cash needed to maintain your hosting. Also I find it doubtful that Xisto will have a random mass joining of 6000+ scammers. The administrator tools and filters they can use to find spammer accounts, and fakers in general can also minimize the arduous task of eliminating users who violate Xisto's user agreement as well. It is a well equipped webhosting company. So I do not think they are so understaffed that they cannot handle random events such as that.
  8. I currently have Xisto as my webhost using mycents, and I was wondering what I should do to keep my site up in the case I was gone for three months. Currently I am thinking of joining the marines to help me get my programming degree ect. So When I go into basic training I will be gone at least three months. Any Ideas as to what I could do to prepare for the day this happens? I would hate to have my account locked or removed due to inactivity. Much less the site taken down because of it. It is important to me after all
  9. From the looks of it. Its true that it "may" lengthen the lifespan of your computer by also reducing the concentrated areas of heat inside the computer. The oil distributes the heat evenly allowing the ambient temperature to stay moderate and low. Also keep in mind that they suspect the radiator/filter system could cause moderate ammounts of water to enter the tank. If this does happen then you should be able to see it after a while. Make sure when you install the components to have them placed half an inch or so from the bottom of the tank. (as a extra precaution)It is not yet seen as a real issue. In addition it is almost impossible to get pure H2O even with distilled water. So the chances of conductivity, and a possible ph problem are relevant to the issue with submerging in water. Not to mention water is called the universal solvent for a reason. The elements inside the parts of the computer could very well dissolve, or decompose. Especially the metallic ionic elements inside the motherboard.
  10. You are most definately welcome! Just watch out for single line posts, and topics that can be considered spam. I myself am surprised at how popular Xisto hosting is... Members on my clan site even have heard about it and that seems so random to me. So far I really love this website and enjoy contributing my feedback+ Ideas to them. I hope you will too!
  11. Hey, I just completed my clan website, and I was looking for some advice, or ideas for making it better. Currently my site is focused mainly on the phpbb message boards. I wish there was a way we could pay for some professional graphics using mysents. I am not all that great with making coustom logo's, ect. Here is the link Clan Kaos If you have any suggestions about making the site cleaner by eliminating useless forums please post your ideas.
  12. You cannot do it with water at all... as water is conductive and can corrode the parts due to its polar properties and oxygen content. So umm no water would be a very bad idea! Anything you expose to water normally fries instantly...
  13. Well hopefully with technology being as advanced as it is today. We could use computers to help reduce the work load for air traffic controllers. It might be "more" practicle a decade from now or more... Often with new advances like this especially with our economy being under duress... Prices are inflated and its hard to make things economical for the middleclass, and lower. I doubt it would ever be something acheivable for people less fortunate... But at least the middle class could get a hold on this nifty new trend of transportation.
  14. The Mineral Oil is non conductive, altho it is viscous(meaning it finds its way into small places) So if you were to build your computer it would be best to do it the way they did by hiding your ports at the top side of the tank using a special motherboard& to install your disk drive/ cddrives in the top as well. The reason for this is the disk drives are not perfectly sealed and if oil gets inside it can ruin them or drastically ruin the speed that it can read the disk ect. altho there is special drives that you can use fine submerged in oil. The absolute worse that can happen with this set up is the wearing of stickers, and eventual discolloring of led lights. The oil can wisk its way down cables apparently so you would need to install wireless parts to help prevent messes, and try to keep your power cables clean. I suspect that they or you could create a way to keep the mess down. The mineral oil works way better than fan cooling. It takes 12 long hours before the tempreatures are even close to its maximum. They have engineered a radiator system to help cool the oil. So now it rarely if ever reaches these max temps. Also it helps moderate concetrated temperatures around certain regions. dispersing the heat evenly helping prolong the life of your hardware. Another downside they mentioned was the possible build up of h2o/which will be visible and can be removed(they have yet to see this happen though) and after a whole year your oil will start showing murkeyness. Which any pc oil or open air will require eventual cleaning. They suggest you install a radiator system to cool the oil that also helps filter it? Well you could build your own and try out some ideas of your own. Or keep up to date on the site in which they are continuously updating new ideas they have discovered to improve the system. Like I said its a really new idea and imperfect. However its awsome use for a gaming pc, I am not too sure if its practicle for dedicated servers and such for hard working computers. I think they solved the heating problem so maybe it is. We wont know until they have tested the computers further. For more details here is the website. https://www.pugetsystems.com/submerged.php
  15. I figured I would be proactive and welcome you as well! I am a newbie myself and desperatly needed my space... So I will let you in on what I know so far. Try to not post single sentence responses, or anything that is of little thought and could be considered spam. What this website is looking for is productive high quality posts that help people in some degree. You probably know this by now from the rules you read in the related posts. You get mycents from the quality of your posts/topics so the more thought and effort the more $$ you can possibly earn!
