  1. I think that it's up to us to decide what's good for ourselves. Its kinda stupid blaming your eyes for what you see and eat.If you're addicted to McDonalds... try to cut down little by little. It will help. Gradually. Ask yourself this, Do I really feel good after I eat fast food? Sure it may be good when you eat it but about 5 minutes later you realize that you dont feel so well. All the grease and oil in your body... its not good for you.McDonald's food quality isnt that good, sometimes when I eat their nuggets it doesn't even smell like nuggets... i can smell some carboard mixed in it, or something else 0o But truly if you watch Super Size Me, it really makes you think twice.Fast food in general is harmless, it depends how much of it you eat. It depends how often you work out or take a jog. Everyone is different.Try limiting fast food to 1-2 times a week. It should be an alternative to 'real' food when you have no choice.Super Size Me changed the way I approached fast food.
  2. Wow the copyright infringement law sure does have a lot of holes in it. What may be illegal in one country is not illegal in the other, so if your company HQ is in a country that isnt illegal for copyright infringement that would wave some laws there unless the software was developed in a different country... so many confusions and loopholes in the law.
  3. This may be the best one you made so far, but its better than many other's out there! Nice work!I've been talking to computer experts and they said to password encrypt your files, which is better protection than Anti-Virus program's, but I could never know how. Now that I have found this program I can get encrypting and know that my files are protected. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the tut Ash!I often have to move big files and this will help me a whole lot. I work with many programs while im moving the files and my computer performance falls off a cliff. This freeware will certainly change that. It will save me time, too.
  5. Hey! Welcome to the Xisto community where you will be loved! Well, maybe not loved, but we do respect each other! I hope you will be an active member of the communtiy.
  6. I agree on the plan on neutralizing AIDS. However too many people have AIDS and it could easily be transmitted by contact. That's the hard part.
  7. Thanks for the info.I, too, believe that swine flu is a little overrated. Aure is a bad case of flu, but the media and general population are making a big deal out of it. Healthcare in Mexico does suck, and they need to improve on it greatly. The flu virus mutates quickly which makes it extremely complicated for a vaccine to be developed. At least, an effective vaccine. You cannot weaken your immune system by simply washing your hands.
  8. I have no doubt that there is life other than earth. You can never prove anything that you dont know, however. Too many people do not belive in the UFOs that even if 20 scientists, politics, and observers saw it, the world would still not believe it. Even if the media goes and does a live coverage people would think that it's fake. I dont know of the people who think they saw something, though.Even if there was an advanced life species, we would probably never be able to detect them or their 'spaceships.'
  9. That game isnt so good, sorry. As the above post states, way too many people hack the game, the servers are very slow, at least for me and my computer, (which is new), and the server lags too much for me to do fast paced gaming.
  10. Cool! Thanks for sharing this, its really cool.Ill try it out when I get a chance. Ill give you my Gamers Tag when im done.
  11. For Nintendo, I'd say that they aren't that bad. Their Nintendo 64 is also the first one I also bought, and I stuck to it for about 2-3 years. The GameBoy Color wasn't so bad for its time. Sure, it was large, but improvements were made when the GameBoy Advanced, GBA SP, and Nintendo DS came in. Recently the Nintendo DSi was released, I haven't gotten a chance to get one yet, though. The Nintendo GameCube has got to be the one that I liked the most for a console system. The GameCube is a one-of-a-kind game system, where you could use your GBA SP in place for one of the controllers, and they would syncronize. That feature has got to be one of the best.Nintendo Wii - Motion sensors has got to be the best feature. The Wii is very interactive and accurate. I think Sony tried to compete against it, but it required too much 'Extra' gadgets to sense motion. Its design is cool too, and it is simple to use compared to other competitor's motion sensing game systems.Nintendo Characters - Nintendo is BEAST at creating new characters. Pokemon and Mario Bros were a big hit in the beginning, and still are now.Nintendo Support - Nintendo has a good support team. Its game manuals are easy to understand, they dont take up a thousand pages and they dont use so many tech words when it comes to game guides.Nintendo Community & Fansites - This plays a big role in Nintendo. Without the Community and dedicated Fans, they wouldn't be so successful. I dont think any other competitor would be successful if they didn't have fans, either. Nintendo has a bigger community. It has more fans.Overall Rating of Nintendo - 10/10
  12. Hmm... I only know a couple. They cant beat me, of course, but they can beat pretty much everyone else.I only wish there were more who could do the same. The gaming world is pretty much boring for console multiplayers if you can't challenge a girl. Most of the girls i game with aren't so good at video games, there are only a few who are. It's not fun to beat them if they aren't a challenge.
  13. For smaller ages, i could say something like webkinz.Around the ages of 12+, maybe something like Arcadetown.com, games on yahoo, msn, and aol, iminlikewithyou.com, mofunzone.com, heavygames.comThose are all sites with free online game content on them, most are 1 player. For MMO's, I believe people do not play runescape as much as they did before. they are more interested now in Halo, WoW, and mmorpgs. However, I play this turn-based game called battledawn: battledawn.comAll people of different ages play battledawn, there are some adults that play it too. It is a war/combat turn-based game.
  14. Cool... i always get tired of annoying download dialog boxes, slow downloads, downloading an extra torrent client, and slow processing or even freezing of internet explorer. IE uses too much fancy stuff and makes the browser run slow. Thank you for sharing this with us!
  15. Forget pulling with teeth... I probably couldn't pull that many coaches of trains with my hands! This guy has braces or what? Does he brush his teeth? Are his teech like freakishly huge or something? Did he inject steriods to his teeth?I will do the honors of saying "Ouch" for each one of his tooths that either fall off or crack.
  16. Hmm... I think that if you eat plenty of vegetables to replace the meat, then you should be fine. If you are forcing yourself to eat vegetables and avoid meat though, that could be a problem. Never force yourself to eat vegetables only if you aren't used to it. Try replacing some meat each day with vegatables slowly until you get used to it, and until your body gets used to it.Your brain, I guess, has some control over this I guess. If you put your mind to it... anything could happen. You could have a successful diet or a forced diet.
  17. Wow... reboot the internet?I didn't know the internet had a centralized place or whatever that actually stores everything on the internet. Well, now I know.Running nonstop from the 1970's.. unbelieveable.Wires - Why didn't they fix the wires and electricals sooner?I think i was using the internet at 11:59 lol.
  18. I don't think it's possible to 'destroy' the internet, but you might be able to damage it. Even if you do attempt to do this, you wouldn't be able to do so all at once. By the time you've sent your first virus, the law enforcement would be searching for you, while the systems are being backed up. So technically, no, you cannot make it go away forever. You can only damage it.Even if you try to damage it, the internet wouldn't have 1 scratch on it.
  19. Does anyone know of a web-based multiplayer FPS program that can let you make your own?I've been searching for it but I've had no luck. Please reply.Thanks.
  20. lol. I totally agree. I've used Byethost for likd the 2nd day and gave up on it, because yes, its free, but you have to pay for every single little thing, EVEN WITH BANNERS. Freewebs is probably better than Byethost. I can tell you that. The Control Panel, I agree with you. So outdated. The term 'Its so easy a caveman can do it' dosen't even apply to this because this dumb control panel was invented before cavemen existed.
  21. lol... I kinda thought this joke was pointless till I read the last sentence.Did you make this up or did you get it from somewhere?
  22. I do not recommend reading or thinking about this topic at night, or if you are scared easily, or if you are isolated alone by yourself. But for the people that could probably handle this, here goes:Do YOU, a HUMAN, believe that there is intelligence that we do not know of, that exists in Outer Space? Sometimes they may be referred to as 'Aliens', but for everyone that dosen't know, an alien isn't nessecarily a bald creature with 2 spooky eyes in tight lab coats. To get to my point, do you think anything like this exists? What if creatures that are way more intelligent than us exist maybe even with me and you? for all we know, they could have some sort of hi-tech cloaking device that they use to spy on us, maybe even stalk us. If it does exist, you know that species tend to be destructive, so there are always the bad guys. What if at this very moment, we are being protected by a united space galactic organization that is fending off enemies right outside the Earth's atmosphere at this very second? What do you think?
  23. I dont hate school... I just don't like several things. Please read what I have to say below and give me your comments. School is great for the most part, but there are some things that I absolutely dislike. For example, homework. I dont hate homework, I just hate it when I have a lot of homework assignments hit me at the same time, or when theres a stack of homework from one teacher, but its easy work. A lot of times, this happens to me. You get a lot of very easy homework, yet you get easily distracted, or it takes too long. Like math. Theres always a teacher that makes the class boring, with no sense of excitement in his or her tone. I guess it depends on your teachers. I hate it when you have teachers, that could actually bore you to death. Stubborn Teachers - The living hell.. (lol) I dont mean the once in awhile stubborness that we all have, I mean serious issues. In 6th grade I had the most stubborn math teacher EVER. Everyone hated her, even some of the other teachers. She was mean, AND stubborn. At the end of the year she got fired from our school, (yay), because she was sending too many people to the office for stupid reasons, which annoyed the administrators. Speaking about that, she actually back-talked to our principal, and I guess that led to her firing. Woot. Not all teachers are mean or boring though. Here are some good things about school that I remember: My AWESOME Language Arts teacher. Now, when you think of Language Arts or Reading, you may think, "How in the world do you like a dead subject like Language Arts?", no offense to the people that like it, but again, it depends on your teacher. In 6th grade, for example, I had the most boring teacher ever, which she did everything by the book. SHE READ ALL HER SPEECH FROM THE BOOK. Yes, this was how boring the actually was. Reading scripts from a book... The most she ever did outside of reading scripts was 'Good Morning' or "Bye." To get back on the good side though, I had a cool 7th grade language arts teacher who was so into the subject, in a fun way. He did things differently, not by the book. He had some acting skills too, and he could imitate a lot of accents that are found throughout the world. We did some acting in the class. For all the shy people that had his class, by the end of the year, they were actually talking very openly. Learning interesting things in Social Studies, 6th Grade: In my year of 6th grade, I can still remember how much fun we had in Geography. This teacher was amazing. He had just started teaching in Florida for the first year, so he was just getting settled in. In our class I could still remember him actually dissing the class, but in a way that wouldn't be mean, just funny. We learned many interesting things that year, and almost everything we learned was followed by an experiment or interactive study. For example, after we learned about the World Wars, we would watch a movie on it, which by the way, was cool also. After that, though, we would have a group project on it, making models of almost everything that we knew about the world wars. I think the most fun we had in that class that year was learning about the Korean War. Personally, I liked learning about politics, so I guess you could tell what I was thinking about. We watched a movie on that, too, as usual. But after that, we had a unique project. We were supposed to draw our own Korea ourselves, so he gave us 1 whole month to do it. There were many creative projects, I wish I could've taken pictures of them and uploaded it onto this post. I conclude that school can be fun, but the pile of homework is a pain. So, I probably have shared like less than 10% of my childhood education memories, so I want to know what interesting things you remember, or what comments you have on my post. I will be adding more shortly, and you're probably like "WTF?, whats the point of this post?" because its not done yet.
  24. Thank you for sharing this with us. Clearly if the thing is a scam, a site would make a review about it. I know this quote is from a long time ago but i guess CashRead isn't a good site.
  25. Cangor, I agree with you.The 3 systems are all useful, but it depends if the kid is successful and interested in what their learning about.I agree that in earlier grades, maybe like Kindergarden to 3rd or 4th grade, homeschooling will be fine. Personally, I didn't really understand anything until I got to 3rd grade. However, if you wait too long to go to Private or Public school, social abilities could be a little less easy for the kid, but that depends if they know how to 'talk' or not. If you have a kid that let's say gets shy easily, I would send him to a school so that he could possibly overcome his shyness.Nice post, Cangor
