Is There A Screening Process For Buying Domains Now?
harrison858 replied to The Simpleton's topic in Web Hosting Support
The myCENTS system is truly an improvement to the old system. I joined Xisto when they were in the process of switching to the myCENTS system so as you could imagine, it took a little while for me to get my hosting. But if you do so now, you should be able to get hosting faster. Now the support team is faster, too. And yes, tutorials and essays can give you a decent amount of myCENTS. But remember, you are here to contribute and the myCENTS is your reward. Earning myCENTS is a privilage and if you abuse the system your hosting can easily be taken away. Also, when you register at https://support.xisto.com/ be sure to use the same email and password as you have with your forum account. Your myCENTS will be converted to 1 USD (US Dollar) each time you reach 100.00 myCENTS, and they will be stored at your account at https://support.xisto.com/ I would place the order when you have enough money in your account first. The basic hosting is the logic plan, which is $1.95 a month. If you're looking for domains, though, it depends on which extention you want, ex) .com, .net, .org, etc. But anyways, welcome to the Xisto community and I wish you luck on earning those myCENTS and spending them towards your hosting and domain =] -
Well, I've never played that MMORPG, but I would suggest to you that you uninstall the program immediately and delete all files related to Tibia. Then, use your current anti-virus software and scan your whole PC for any viruses, trojans, spyware, etc.If not, then I would get ahold of a staff member of that mmorpg and question them as to why it took over your registry and why you are recieving ads as to buying an anti-virus software. If the staff member sounds like a kid I wouldn't play the mmorpg, if they sound professional and give you good enough reasons then you could believe them. Anyways, after you talk to them see if this happens again. If so, then I would stop.

Iphone 3.0 Vs. Palm: Which One Would You Want To Get?
harrison858 replied to sunshinewing's topic in Mobile Phones
I would rather go for the iPhone. The Palm Pre looks like it weighs more becasue of the keyboard. Plus, I like the iPhone's sleek design. The Palm Pre is a bit ugly to me, no offense to anyone that has one. I go for the iPhone because of the company too.For the keyboard, I would prefer the iPhone because as you mentioned, you can draw any kind of keyboard you want, whether it is English, Greek, Hebrew, Chinese, etc.For the Data and Voice, I would prefer iPhone because it can run on a 3G network. Edge is slow, true, but the only way for Palm Pre to get on a network is through Wi-Fi, which in some cases can be pretty slow. For Applications, I think the iPhone has the advantage because it already has many apps, and you can access YouTube. You can also download music onto your iPhone just as you would upload them to your iPod.Multimedia - iPhone has the advantage because it can display videos better in my opinion. My conclusion: iPhone and Palm Pre could be tied bepending on what you're using it for. If you want Multimedia and Apps, go with the iPhone. If you want your physical keyboard, go with the Palm Pre -
Air France Crash 15 more bodies found...
harrison858 replied to harrison858's topic in General Discussion
Yea... Its ashame Airbus wouldn't replace their speed indicators, even if they knew that it was faulty. Well the plane sent signals of an electrical failure, but it may be referring to its speed indicator. Some sources say that the speed indicator could've been frozen up while being that high. The speed indicator is very important, the plane could go too slow and stall, or too fast and break apart. Now, they are searching for the plane's black boxes. The black boxes are programmed to emit an emergency beacon signal and will do so for at least 30 days. Lets just hope they can find them so that they could probably find the rest of the debris. Again, sorry for the lost of family and friends. -
Studing In Australia, A Big Threat ?
harrison858 replied to longtimeago's topic in General Discussion
I'd say, nothing can be done for this. Considering the way you and the post above me described it, those people sound pretty stubborn to me. They have something on everyone, and it sounds to me that their people think their race is the best, religion, etc.I would agree that it really depends on the area that you are in. Just like in any other country, there is a poor area, mid-wealthy area, and a rich area, or maybe an area with a low crime level and a high crime level. You just have to pick the right area to be in. -
Hey and welcome to Xisto! There are others like you who aren't here for web hosting, but contributing to the forum is greatly appreciated! Enjoy your stay here at the T17 Community!

The search continues, and another 15 bodies are found amongst the people that went down a week ago. Article: Air France Flight: 15 more bodies found Snippet: This plane crash is terrible.. Nobody would expect it to happen. The Air France flight got caught in a bad storm off the coast of South America, some miles off into the Atlantic Ocean. Only 15 are found from the two-hundred some aboard, and my thoughts go out to them. It is truly sad for those that were on the flight, and my hearts go out to their families and friends. I hope that nobody here at Xisto has lost someone in this terrible situation. Just letting you know, incase you haven't heard. 228 I believe are lost total in this crash. 228 is too much for a plane crash, and it would be too many friends to lose. Think 228 not as a number, but 228 of the people you know everyday. My concerns go to the passengers and employees of this flight. God Bless.

Guide To: Thinking Negative/suicide A basic guide to help
harrison858 replied to harrison858's topic in Health & Fitness
hehe.. Let's hope it stays that way. I don't think that many people on T17 have had this issue themselves, but maybe they have encountered this with a friend or other family member, someone at school, college, etc. It's just basic info they could pass on. -
I believe that thinking Negative can cause some consequences to your mind and you. This is a BASIC mini-guide on thinking negative, and thoughts of suicide. Instead of thinking negative, look for the positive things that are in a situation. You have to ask yourself this: 1. What good is coming out from being negative? 2. What do you remember? 3. What are your alternatives? Now after you have thought of these above questions, think of your alternatives. Theres always a second or third way of solving a problem. Don't just stick to one thing. For thoughs of suicide: 1. Talk to your friends, have your friends come over. 2. Seek a doctor or professional and talk to them about your feelings, and thoughts. 3. Be open about your feelings. There are people that care about and love you. 4. You're probably not the only person in the whole world who thinks about suicide. 5. What good will come from suiciding? Will it solve any problem? 6. Do you care about the people that love you? How will they feel? Thoughs of suicide because of a lost of a family member, friend, wife/husband, etc. 1. Would they want you to suicide? Or would they want you to live a happy life? 2. What are their wishes? Im sure having you suicide is not on their list. Thoughts of suicide because of a lost/broken relationship: 1. Have you tried to get back with them? 2. What caused this to happen? - If it was your fault: + What can you do to deeply express your feelings and apologize? + If you can't get back together at least you know that the person you were with truly forgives you and cares about you. Let me know if this helps or worsens your thoughts. If it worsens: Im truly sorry.

Do You Know About Sinusitis? Need your Experience
harrison858 replied to buherath's topic in Health & Fitness
hmm.. nope I never came across something as this severe. None of my family or friends have it, and I've never heard of such a case. I just hope that whoever has this would feel better, it doesn't sound fun to have, and I wouldn't like to have it.In fact, my sinuses are not that bad. I rarely have problems.I would have a lot of water, just like the post above states. -
hehe interesting topic. I hate being sick as well. When I'm sick i'm sleepy, my taste kinda goes away a little, and you're hungry, everything seems appetizing, and you never stop. I usually have a bowl of soup at least twice a day, because soup really helps. Its good, too. I try not to take any medication unless im really, really sick. If it's just a small cold, everything would stay fine if I keep eating right and keep having my soup =]I'd stay back from working out until my cold is completely gone as I would be out of energy when I'm sick. So, soup comforts me the most. I have soup even when I'm not sick :lol:Also, a good night's rest is key to healing up and feeling better. Just try to stay active as much as you can in the day, wash yourself more and you should be okay.
-
I would probably go with the 3 days. I have always heard 3 days. I've never heard about a week or 2 weeks, though. So it's probably best to stick with 3 days.

Hmm... suicide is a very sad situation, it usually involves long term troubles, problems, issues, etc. and is described in a short phrase. Suicide is the worst thing a human can do, besides killing another and suffering the lost. Killing yourself is killing your dreams. Each human has a unique dream, in which one day hopefully they might fulfill their dream and die happily. Suicide is not a happy ending, and I greatly incourage you to spend more time with that friend, help solve their troubles but dont make it worse. When they feel sad, feel sad for them too, and make them realize you really care about them. They think of suicide when they think there's no way out, no hope left, no purpose in life because they feel that their life is ruined. You, on the other hand, because you're their friend you can help them with this. They respect you, you respect them, and they will truly listen to what you have to say, in return you shall do the same. Because you're friends, you share a special bond with them that no ordinary doctor or councellor or psychiatrist could ever shard the same relationship with him.DONT let him suicide. Stop it before it's too late. Get suicide out of his head.

hehe yup. It would be nice to see more of these cameras and games to go with them that have to do with emotion, feelings, etc. Cameras like this could be used in other fields than gaming, as well. It can be used to monitor customer satisfaction, for example. Anyways, the technology is fairly new and I guess we'll just wait to see how it benefits us all.

Influenza A H1n1: First Case In Honduras!
harrison858 replied to fermin25's topic in General Discussion
This is truly sad. People are dying each day from flus other than influenza, but some guys are like "oh its only 12 people", or "oh its only 3000 people." The truth is, if you actually got to know whose 12 people, or those 3000 people, you wouldn't be saying, "oh its only this many." Each person on this world is unique, if they were your friends you would care more. But really, they are people like you and me, who go through things in life, although they will never live as nearly as old as you. Im not talking to repliers in this thread directly, but please, consider of the numbers and who you're talking about. -
Wow! Thanks so much for posting this list! It takes almost forever to find a good addon that you need, so thanks Im going to make use of almost all of these, they are all so very helpful. Your recommendations are great!

Hmm... It may be by heat, maybe its a motion sensing camera that sees your movements and reconizes it as an arm, leg, head, etc. ?

Nintendo 64 Or Playstation 1...what Was It The Best?
harrison858 replied to fermin25's topic in Computer Gaming
lol um ok..Personally, I liked the N64 the best. True, it had better graphics. The PS1 was a little bit complicated in connecting the wiring, too. You had to connect it through the cable and all that, it was just too much. PS1 graphics were'nt so good. The N64 controller is unique with different customizations. Its controller is different from the ones today. -
Yup, this is true all right. He's a millionaire and he thinks he's all that, but he has no respect for anyone, and he treats other people poorly. He was probably spoiled when he was little, probably getting whatever he wants.

Do You Dream In Black & White Or Color?
harrison858 replied to GrinningKittie's topic in General Discussion
Hmm... well sometimes I get this too. Other times, my dream would just be a 'memory', and there would be no colors, just something like De Ja Vu. Where you actually remember something but scientists say so otherwise. -
Im an online, MMORPG type gamer, with some console gaming as well. I used to be crazy with games until I ran a site using T17 and got kind of addicted in programming :lol:GAMES ALL THE WAY.
