  1. Nintendo has released information on its new Nintendo DSi.The official launch date is set for April 5th, 2009 for the United States launch.I think you can now pre-order a DSi on the Nintendo website. The DSi can play most Nintendo DS games, and is using some sort of connection as similar to the Wii.The DSi has a camera too o0I want to ask you all, what do you think about the DSi?Right now, I have a Nintendo DS Lite, but is the DSi worth it?Please reply and vote in the poll.
  2. Saint_Michael, thanks for sharing this for us.In school we did in fact celebrate this 200th birthday. Abraham Lincoln was on school news, history class, and a presentation in our gym.My history teacher, however, also compared Lincoln to President Obama, and there were a lot of things I disagreed with her.
  3. Wow! They found a trend between lunar cycles and hurricanes, alright!I never would've thought of looking at the moon's cycles, but one part of me says, "DUH", as in this has something to do with tides.I guess now they will have an easier method of coming up with how strong the hurricane will be, and be a little more precise. Maybe if this trend works for all hurricanes, we may be able to predict this for all of the tropical storms, and prepare ourselves for the hurricane. Evacuations could be set sooner if they know the strength of it.Thanks for sharing this article
  4. So... you dont know where to send your child, Public or Private? Here are some pros and cons for Public and Private Schools. Please vote in the poll too. Public School Pros: - Obviously this is the cheaper way. - Your child can become more social in a different learning enviornment, and learn how to make friends. - Your child learns right from wrong. You hardly get this in private school. - Your child learns how to make choices. - Your child goes into a wider variety of social classes. Cons: - Sometimes the child can be pressured. - Sometimes causes stress to your child. - Teachers are good-to-great, but some of them aren't the best. - Your child picks bad things up very easily, if he/she has not been taught right from wrong. Private School Pros: - Better learning enviornment. - Cleaner school. - Well-managed. - Not too many fights. - Better teachers. Cons: - Your child will sometimes learn to be social, although this is about half the chance than in public school. - MONEY PROBLEM! for some of us at least.. - Not that many choices to make in a Private School. - A bit less variety of social classes. Home Schooling Pros & Cons Both Pros and Cons: - You teach the child. - NO choices to make. - NO social classes - NO friends - NO Life - NO school sports Conclusion: HOME SCHOOLING = NO LIFE. Private School = Good if you have the money. Public School = I think this is better, but just watch out for annoying teachers. <--- Dizzy Smile
  5. Many of us say that this is illogical, that there is only one universe, and that we cant travel through or reverse time. I say... HOW WOULD YOU KNOW? The world outside of ours cannot be determined by our intelligence. You cannot possibly understand the whole universe, or universes. We still have a lot to know about life. Maybe it IS possible that there is more than one universe, similar to positives and negatives of mathematics. A positive has a negative to it, so why can't there be a forward and backwards universe? Have YOU ever traveled through a wormhole? No, I dont think so. Just because you think its illogical, it isn't illogical for a fact. If a reverse universe exists, it would be logical to that universe and illogical to them of our existence. Theories and Myths... "You can't actually prove it..." Tell me... Can YOU prove that there is no reverse universe out there? I guess this will keep you thinking.
  6. Maybe we can use towers that recieve the wireless electricity, that help regulate the voltage and make the voltage level lower. We could probably use a set transmitter/reciever system so that nothing could be in the way.But i'd say that this is highly unlikely because it would cause major interference with electrical devices.Whats going to happen during a thunderstorm? This could contribute to an electrical storm. Think about what would happen if a criminal, or just a practival teenager seeking for fun, has access to these things? They could use it to possibly shock people, or interfere with electrical devices.

  8. lol... I have many views on this.Positives: 1) Can view your street2) More details3) PicturesNegatives:1) Invasion of privacy?2) They're taking pictures of you and releasing them to the public....3) Wont stalkers and rapists have more access to information?
  9. Wow I didn't know that any other country would actually pay out to terrorists, its going to help support them. They will use it to buy more weaponry. Even if a country is losing people, you would'nt actually give money to the world's enemies, would you?
  10. Lol... at my school they dont allow hugs or kisses, or holding hands. If someone catches you holding hands: Lunch DetentionIf someone catches you hugging: DetentionIf someone catches you kissing: In-School Suspension (lol)Getting suspended in school is ***. That takes away the whole point of getting suspended lol.
  11. Well, I know for a fact that you can use Yahoo's Instant Messaging service to send a text SMS to someone's phone number. You dont get charged for it but the person replying/recieving the text could be charged a little extra.I'd just call my friends though, whats the point of texting? That just shows that you dont have the ability to talk to someone.
  12. Article: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Well, it shouldn't be a real surprise. I dont think Disney is the only theme park that is losing in profits. I think smaller parks are getting hit more, like Seaworld or Bush Gardens. Disney profits drop 32% hmm.. Anyone see anything similar to this in your area? I live near Orlando, FL, so there are a lot of theme parks in the area. We've been seeing a drop in tourists.
  13. hmm... Thanks for sharing this. To be honest with you I didnt know that NJ could get any small earthquakes. Luckily there was little to no damage, especially the economy right now.
  14. yep... The hosting packages have nothing to do with what operating system you have.Keep in mind that Windows Server is not that nessecary. I use Linux package. Everything works out okay, and I post regularly on the forums. If you post often, credits shouldn't be a big problem. Just make sure they are quality posts and not too short of a post, bigger posts give you more credits. It takes longer to get credits by posting shorter posts than bigger posts.
  15. Wow, really nice site design, infastructure, style.I like the forums, very nice style, good forum software. A unique naruto game, yes.
  16. hmm... well i've seen pictures of snow before but not snow that was actually there. Maybe part of the reason my mom never takes us to go on a trip up north in the winter is because of the temparatures. Im in florida and its really, really cold now.
  17. lol... yea very funny xD Quite ironic... the irony, it burns. How dare this guy participate in a lottery that was meant for victims? and a TWO-time sex offender?? Get real. Of all people that could've participated this guy shows up and its like... Congrats 'two-time sex offender,' you have won the "Support Rape Victims" lottery... Oh the irony...
  18. We should let the government stay out of all this, because interference with the economy is like steroids, where the government is pumping money into the economy. Sooner or later, these 'steroids' will run out, and then we need more and more because nothing is actually helping. Government gives money away, and people will just save it, lock it up, and will be afraid to use it because they're so scared.Sooner or later, the value of the dollar will go down, prices will start to rise again, and then the economy is pushed yet even deeper into its recession.
  19. I agree with the first post for fixing the American Economy, although we need to also include the rest of the world too. But, maybe if we do fix the American economy, other countries' economies may start to go up too. You never know. There are some things that economists were right about and wrong about, there's no way to predict what will happen next, so I say wait.
  20. Dude, forget about suicide, get that out of your head. If you suicide, thats the end of you. Theres no 're-do.' If you suicide you won;t know what happens after that, and people will just move on sooner or later.
  21. I like Call of Duty better. My friends and I play on it all the time, and we like it better than Counter Strike or Halo.
  22. lol this game sucks... I haven't played this game for like 3 years now...The chat is okay but the credits are expensive as hell dude.

    Sleep

This is what works for me:Excercise, maybe a workout, get yourself all tired.Close door, turn off lights, sleep in darkness, and shut your eyes. Try not to think about anything, just cuddle yourself tightly.Sounds a little wierd but that's what works for me.
  24. I like IE. For some reason FireFox looks like it has too much crap at the top (pardon my french), and its kinda hard to navigate in my opinion. I favor IE its very customizable.
  25. You mean a script that will enable you to install software on all 100 computers at once? And are the computers even connected to any sort of server?
