  1. It takes years to be an expert programmer. But heres a good place: http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Did a Mod or an Admin delete my getting started on C thread?
  2. Do anyone know how to make your Video Card use less memory? My current Video Card is ATI Radeon 200 Xpress(256 MB). It use to use only 64 Ram but now it's using 128 of my Ram. When I go to my computer, properties. It shows I only have 384 Ram. But really I have 512. Also each day my computer's performance is getting higher each day and it uses a huge lot of memory. I tried a disc defragment and it still used the same. Except my computer got faster. Anyone know what problem I am having? I been trying to figure out this problem since my computer got slower when I first got it.
  3. So do we get the domain only for a year? Or forever?
  4. This should help you know what programming languages are.C# is a language designed by Microsoft for the .Net framework. Its syntax is similar to C and C++, with an emphasis on being programmer friendly. It has memory management where C and C++ require the programmer to do this manually, it has array bounds checking where C and C++ don't, among many other differences. Automatic memory management and some other programmer-friendly features of C# sacrifice some performance, but these features can also make development faster and easier. This can be very attractive to businesses and single programmers alike.C is a rather low-level language, meaning that the programmer sees and deals more directly with a computer's hardware. An experienced programmer can make very efficient and small applications in C that might not be possible in higher-level languages. C is also used to program operating systems and embedded devices where many other languages are not.C++ is an object oriented offshoot of C, with some friendlier features than C. It is a higher level language, and is certainly more programmer friendly than C. It isn't as friendly or as high level as C#. It is a very common and standard language for general application development.C and C++ were not designed by and are not related to Microsoft, although Visual Studio will work with both. (Visual Studio also does C# and Visual Basic)Java is even higher level than C#, and is an interpreted language. It's a rather programmer-friendly language for general application development.Visual Basic has an English-like syntax, which can be very easy to pick up. It is very programmer friendly.PHP is a very easy to use (and easy to develop bad habits with) web language.I suggest choosing one language to start off in. I personally don't think it matters which one. Some suggest learning higher level languages because it's easier, some suggest lower level languages because they'll teach you about a computer.
  5. There is a scientific fact that by your dream. Your dream can kill you. Do you think this is true or false? =]
  6. Can you share ports that are enabled with a diffrent network? I saw a program that does it somewhere on an advertisement. I can't remember what it was called. It costed about $69.99. Anyone know what it is called? Or do anyone know how to change ports that a game accepts through? I want to change the ports that the game called StarCraft (Port 6112) and change it to a diffrent port so that I can create games and play it with my brother on the same network. It we play together while he hosts the game we start lagging and it lags like $#@#. I can't stand the lag. I talked to Blizzard about it they told me to get a new router. They didn't even tell me which one I should get. But buying a new router would be a waste of time. I have a Linksys Wireless router I bought for like 80 bucks.
  7. Everyday I am getting breakouts. I take a shower every night. And wash my face everynight. I have no idea why I am getting breakouts. I used an acne cleanser but it isn't doing like anything really.
  8. very useful. some proxy sites gets you keylogged or scams you.
  9. Once I ever got to know how to use a computer and found out many things that a computer can do I was surprised. It all started when I got on a computer for my first time playing a game that my cousin had let me play. This was 5 years ago and now I am very addicted to the computer and if I stop using the computer for about a day or week I feel like i'm gonna die or something. The only time I don't feel like using the computer is when my cousins and families visit from other places. Or when I play a video game that is not on the computer.
  10. I was wondering if anyone knows how to make a New Winbot with Visual Basics. My idea is making a bot that you install in your StarCraft folder so it can use the files in your StarCraft folder to respond to Warden packets. Would be a great idea. Anyone tried this before?
  11. Which do you think is the best? A PSP, PS3, or XBOX360? Vote on the poll!
