I agree! comcast and problem with linksys routerProblems With ComcastI don't even know how I've put up with comcast for 3 years but I've had enough since this last call I just gave them. I've done everything possible resetting/restarting/re-un-plugging routers/modems/computers. Cloning mac address etc. It only works for temporarily and then drops connection again. I asked the lady who I spoke with if our service was listed under home network or commercial or whatever and she just kept saying the same thing over and over as if they're robotically programmed "Comcast does not do routers, comcast does not do routers. We can rent you a router. Comcast does not do routers." Not even letting me speak to ask how much they rent it out for before the ***** said "You can go on comcast.Com/routers" and this wasn't even a real address when I went to check. I just hung up on her. I've had enough of these idiots. I'm unlucky and live in Tallahassee County and there is only Comcast and Embarq as far as I know but back home in Tampa I have Verizon and they do NOT do this and have a lot better customer service who doesn't give me an attitude just because I call tech support which is their job to help with these type of problems. Ugh. -reply by Mphn17

Computer Froze Nothing works HelpUnfreezing Your ComputerThe computer I am talking about is not the one I am using now. My other computer powers up just fine, but the curser is frozen in the middle of the screen. The mouse does not work, but it is not dead (checked this) Control Alt and Deleate does not work at all. Re booting and unplugging does not solve the problem . When turning the computer off, it shuts down like it would when you properly shut a computer down. When you turn the computer on, it starts up the way it should, icons are all in place and the virus scan works, but the keybord and the mouse do not do anything. It is like something was hung up when the computer was shut down and it is keeping the computer from functioning. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The computer is Windows XP 98. Thanks -reply by Shirley

MohanlalWho Is No. 1 Actor In India (all Language Including Bollywood)? I seen most of indian actors movies...I personally like all of Mohanlal movies...I think he is an awesome actor with crazy flexibility, the other I like is Kamal Hassan..He acts different kind of roles kind of like Mohanlal. I think some of the bollywood are good. But from what I have noticed most of the south actors actin skills are far better than the north actors. Its just my personal opinion. iGuest replied to jedipi's topic in Websites and Web Designing
ThanksHow Can I Lock My Winxp By Using Ctrl+alt+delThanks!!This worked for me. I have a virus on my work computer which prevents the ctrl-alt-del function from working to lock my computer when I leave the office for a bit. My MIS wants to re-image the computer and I don't want to do that, so I have been struggling. BTW, if you have any more good ideas on what is the virus causing htis let me know. Nothing ( Malwarebytes, Spybot, Forticlient, etc) will remove the virus. -reply by Lash -

I read you essay on creating a dinosaur from DNA. I was very impressed with you knowledge on the subject and the way you presented your opinion. At DNA Datasource, we try to recognize opinions of students as well as experts on DNA realted topics. We are currently featuring articles and writings on this very topic from the world's most respected paleontologists. To be sure that your essay gets read by these experts, I have forwarded a link to your essay to them as well as adding that link on our home page 'In The News' section which will be posted on July 13. It would be helpful to know your age and grade. There are other opinions on retro-engineering. If you watched 60 Minutes on July 3, you saw the man who is most likely to make it happen. Congratulations on a very well-written essay.Bob Armstronge-mail bob@dnadatasource.com http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/

Hi,Like to suggest you one voice activated remote which works on the voice recognition technology. It is a Media Center Remote. It works on the voice command. The main benefit of this remote is that it recognizes the voice commands and ignores the general chat and discussions. It can skip the 10 minutes boring advertisement.

How To Login To An Expired Windows Xp System
iGuest replied to nightfox1405241487's topic in Websites and Web Designing
I have a problem activating XP on a friends laptop, the laptop stopped working due to a faulty memory module, unfortunately one of his less technically minded friends thought the problem was a virus and completely messed it up. Eventually the laptop got passed to me, I replaced the memory but by this time the windows installation was completely borked. Luckily I have a windows XP oem disk (the Laptop has a genuine XP home oem license sticker on the bottom) great do a repair install and all should be well. Ok so XP installs - likes the key on the sticker etc. However It informs me that windows must be activated before I can log on, fine so I click yes... It makes a windows error sound then nothing - the system just hangs there, any idea what I can do - I'm happy to activate it as I know its all perfectly legal but I don't get any activation screen. -
I use Codelobster PHP Edition as my favorite free PHP/HTML/CSS/JavaScript Editor. It has very powerful autocomplete and context help + special plug-ins for all popular frameworks.

Hey there, you don't actually need a specific code to detect resolution you can just put it in an if/else clause if((screen.width==1280)&&(screen.height==800)) document.write('<style type="text/css">body {background:url(http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/);background-attachment: fixed;}"></style>') hope this helps

OK, Everyone. I have a solution for this problem. The problem is bone density. If you have small wrists, it is likely that you have small bones. It may be easier for you to break your bones; so be careful. I have only seriously broken my bones once, but I am a moderately inactive person. Anyway, I have the solution for skinny bones. It has been scientifically proven that high-impact exercise gradually increases bone density. So, in the case of skinny wrists, we all need to be punching something regularly. The impact from using a punching bag (or whatever) will gradually increase the bone density and mass, layer by layer. Take a boxing or martial arts class, or whatever. You want bigger, stronger bones, high-impact is the key. Experts on osteoporosis can attest: jogging, a high-impact exercise builds bone density and is therefore beneficial for those at risk of osteoporosis. We with small wrists should do pushups, then learn to do the kind of pushups where you bounce yourself into the air and land on your palms. Be careful with this, of course. If something cracks or fractures, let it heal [this may take months], then start again.

Creating a Compiler The Nightmare of a Comp Science Students
iGuest replied to hansley's topic in Programming
Hi,I have created a new language named "Think" it is an interpreter.First you need to know what are the components of the compiler,Then write a sample program in "C" languageto fetch the file contents and create a symbol table likefile.txt // file to be scanned content of this file is as follows, int a,b,c;float af,bf,cf;you just print the output as integer variables [a,b,c] float variables [af,bf,cf]Then for further reference just take a look at the last chapter of "C Complete Reference" written by "Herbt Schildt" In that he wrote a full interpreter in C language and named it as little C interpreterIn which he have used recursive calculator for expression manipulation like c = (a+*(b+a),...If you able to understand the code of little C then its very easy you can create a new compiler or interpreter by yourself.Further contact mail to "pulsarcoder@gmail.com"
