What's the point in Digg traffic ? Do you know digg traffic is made up of savvy userbase. All IM people know that it's hard to monetize for Digg. And digg members hardly click on ads. So what's point in bringing that traffic ? Just for Alexa ranking ?If the traffic is not paying anything in return then what's the point in that traffic source ? Digg is not at all worthy source when it comes to PPC. Only PPV/CPM traffic benefits from Digg. And to let you know that Adsense ads on trap are CPC. Kontera ads on Xisto are also CPC. Now what this digg traffic will help xisto grow in terms of revenue ? If you have any good explanation and stats on digg and revenue generation i'm all ear to it.One more thing is current way of earning mycent is enough. You post quality content and you earn mycent which worth the post. You want to earn more and do what ?want to buy datacenter or something ? 1 week of forum posting (with 5 quality replies) is enough to earn mycent that will last for 1 year of logic plan hosting. Plus you'll earn enough to cover domain costs as well. Why you want to have more ways of earning mycents ? Are you running out of them ? I guess not so.

I agree with this one. I think to get current threads you have to scroll to bottomI think it will be better if they make it at the top. Digg is not forum and it has lot of JS and ajax stuff. That adding to forum will increase loading time and many of us are on dialup or low speed connections, mobile phones so think about it. I think you're taking this annoyance way to extreme. I agree with navigational issue but rollover app and people flocking here just for mycents is not valid all time. Besides theme is not that bad, as you are trying to portray.

I always wondered how people are patient enough for art like this. I kinda lost my patience for such artistic stuff. I do sketch some times. But designing such wooden card or fish in the bottle is something that always made me wonder. Especially ship in the bottle is what made me more surprised. How they do that ?

These days PTC sites and poker sites scripts are easily available and most of those scripts can be tuned to get more earning with 0 or no earning in return. So i think better to avoid such sites.

You can do two things:1) Copyscape protection widget(sane one will stop by seeing this,insane one will continue).2) Use Copy-protection plugin that don't let people select text on your blog.These are your safeguard for your own blog. For wordpress i can guide you for such plugins cause i'm using it on my blog cause i have found few rippers from my own country doing that. So i installed the plugin and i don't have to worry about copy now. For Drupal i'm not sure of any such plugin, but you can always ask about this to drupal bloggers or on drupal forums.

Are you worried about it ? If so, don't be. Advertisers and readers don't flock at blogs or sites who rip off content of others and present as theirs(without any credit). There are many black hat SEO people out there and i came across many9from warrior forum) who get content from creative commons forum or blogs and just aggregate at one place. Monetize and earn from it. Advertisers and readers can easily find out the rewritten(or copied) articles and once they find out then such sites go down. How you can confirm this ? Just go to any scraper or rip-off blog. For example, this blog rips of personal profiles of orkut people and post it on blog. This blog never got warning about duplicate content from google but google warned blogger about posting testimonials and profile info on his blog without permission. If more people report such scrapers then i'm sure this scraping and rip off business will be out soon. I don't know when such blogs will go down. Blogspot.com is heaven for Black hat people or scrapers and spammers. As far as taking pictures from blog or forum, i don't think it makes any trouble unless photograher has any commercial interest. If any, then we better respect his work. For me, we have contributed lot of stuff here on Xisto. I don't mind people taking it out and rewrite it and have some cash cause it is in creative commons and they have to credit us back for the stuff we have here. If they don't then they are thieves, and don't expect some rational moves from those who steal. We should do what good needs to be done from side, let some parasite survives their own way.

I think you didn't seen the new version of VB. New version of VB is hell lot of improvement and just few modification and you'll see a much better VB. Even default skin is changed and is enough to let you have some different look than earlier. Also vb is available as forum and suite versions. In suite version you'll find better design to forum and CMS by default.

I agree,most of times these debates go to nowhere and get boring later with people moving in circle with debate. Besides less number of evidence on evolution doesn't make creationism right. Or discarding evolution without any solid data doesn't make creationism right. Besides that other than fossil records i have seen many evidences which are completely ignored by creationists. For that some examples are here. Besides i really enjoyed these creationists attacks on evolution. And not matter how much evolution examples are given they are just merely argued with poor ID theories and without any solid data. I don't like this very approach of creationists that they speak on behalf of designer and discard evolution. Why is that ? I would like to observe creationists to know this answer.

Science is proven wrong and replaced with what explanation? I'm interested in knowing that where science was proved wrong and what rational explanation we got without scientific method. And to the point of discrediting it, do you know that science works on point of verification and falsification. So how come it was proved wrong ? Personally, i'm waiting for empirical evidence of creationism. Is there any ? Indeed, it is selective and it just works by finding gaps in study of evolution. There is no scientific method in creationism. If i'm not wrong even Christianity discards creationism (ID theories). Only religions supporting ID these days are islam,hinduism and some other religions.

I was going to report the same like thread starter. Fantastico is not updating with wordpress version and 2.5.1 installation is security risk unless people update it immediately. So if version 3 launches this february then the old plugins will not be available for it. And so the wordpress in fantastico will become way too old to install and will be hard to upgrade. Earlier i use to install wordpress from fantastico and then use plugin" wordpress automatic update". But i doubt that soon this plugin will support 2.5.1 or not.So that's why i wanted to report for atleast upgrade the version of wordpress(and similar such CMS/apps) that comes on fantastico.

This sums up everything in my opinion. It's waste of time if people just fill in the gaps with some fantasy with something else.

Let me break it this way, when you reply to post chances of getting 0 in every replies mycent is less. So you get something like 102.40$. And as you crossed 100mycents you got 1 $ here with [READY] status here, and 2.40mycents added in it as well. Now you need 97more mycents to get another 1$. As this mycent server is connected to Xisto - Support billing, it takes time to update. And it moves in some way that it takes time to update your mycents on forums as well as on your Xisto - Support account.

There was hard drive change and that's why we faced mycents problem. Other than that, it updates every hour or 20 minutes time. Depends on load of mycent server. If you post good replies without line breaks and excessive posting. You'll likely to earn some mycent in fairly short time. Just be patient and post naturally. You'll earn enough mycents in day or two to buy domains. In weeks posting, you'll earn enough to buy mycent for yearly hosting. Or perhaps more depending on discussion.

In my opinion, yes. But i came across many people who don't want to share stuff they know as we expect that way. I can understand that "never to give trade secret while you are in game". But people like warren buffet do share their stuff once they are out. Also people like darren rowse, john chow and yaro stark (all of them are bloggers) are earning tons by trading their secrets. So i think it depends on how people share their knowledge and benefit themselves and others. GNU/Linux philosphy is also based on sharing knowledge for free in environment where people charge others for the knowledge(espcially MS and apple side). There are cases where people can benefit from sharing knowledge and there are some cases where people should not share what they know(maybe just to stay in game or trade). I may be wrong on this point but this is what i learned from life so far. I try to share what i know most of times but most of time i prefer listening to views of others as well. Did anyone noticed that if you share your knowledge and people found it worthy then you'll see two type of reactions, "first your stuff works i respect you and second your stuff work and i'm going to modify it and make more from it and loser you shouldn't share such thing else people will take over you and hence i don't need to respect you". This two type of reactions i have seen in my life in corporate world. Other may have different opinion on this, i would like to know about it.

Some reasons why i don't like Frames:1) Search engines hates frames2) Interface is annoying because of that.3) If navbar is in frame and fails to load then it's hard to navigate without it.4) Site looks too childish with such interface(old geocities and tripod sites were like that).5) Not professional look in any way6) not suitable for dynamic websites and looks more of clutter7) Accessibility issues in many ways. (useit & other user interface sites reports say so).These are some reasons why i hate frames. I don't like to waste time on sites which are making their interface with frames these days. It's just plain annoying.

Yesterday, there was downime for gamma server. As well as mysql server issue for rest of th server. But now it is solved. I guess all of us have their sites running again.

Never tried it myself. But came across few site owners who are into creating such sites and flipping them. So i guess it is working as their is business for such sites. Not sure what men and women prefer from online dating. What are their expectations but looks like there is lot of memberbase on some sites and active participation as well.
