Filezilla is my favourite..When it comes to uploading buch of files it's the best choice..When uploadin single file i just use my Total Commander, zapadnocheska univerzita v plzny.. lol

i agree with quicksilva. you can upload your zip file via FTP manager, and then use cpanel --> file manager to unzip it. uploading lot's of files is slower than uploading one zip file and then unziping it with file manager.you can also unzip the file on your computer as it is zipped in 'phpbb' folder, and then just zip all the files in that folder so that when you upload and unzip to let's say 'forum' folder so that structure doesn't ook like 'forum/phpbb/*.files' but just 'forum/*.files'... if the directory u choose to upload files to is 'forum'...

funny thing is, what would all the hackers in the world do if there was no internet. there is no software way to distroy the internet, only to stop it for a while is maximum any hacker could do. there is no possible software way to send virus that would permanently destroy internet - just think about it for a while. virus needs to be powered with some kind of hardware, it can't "live" in wires. best way, as someone here wrote, to destroy internet is to go and cut all the wires connecting root computers around the world. but probably then they would find a simple way to send signal from satelites on earth to satelites up there, and then we wouldn't even have wires. then hackers would need to find a way to distroy satellites orbiting earth. i think if they wrote a program in C they could do that.. lol...

Even so, i wonder how did those two guys payed for that much of a bandwith in first place, from website who obviously doesn't make profit. Strange. You said they had lot's of visitors even before google bought it. But when you look at the price of dedicated webservers even those cheapest and lousiest cost about 40-50$ a month. How many users can one dedicated server of these specs handle.

all i ever care for when working for someone is good money, and honest working hours. google is like every other company except that they can afford those "luxuries". big deal. it is good for those "smart" guys who just can't find their place couse their brain waves function 100 times faster then ours (well mine to be sure). but what's life about..you said if you were on of 0.1% who fit their profile, well then you aren't like other 99.99% who don't. the fact that i'm like 99.9% of other ppl struggling to make end with end in life is better to me, couse i have 99.9% chance that i'm going to hang out with ppl who have similar opinions and desires like i do.even so working for google would be great, and it also would be great that every other company has that working terms, but that is just impossible. and working for others is always gonna be that -- working for others! my goal in life is to be my own boss, no matter if i have millions or nothing, but the fact that i can say - "i wont work tommorow" is better than all of those millions $ that google is gonna give me. so what that they are gonna retire when 40.. big deal. i'm 20 once in life, and if i spend 20ies just working and working life passes by, and you get older. things you could do in 20ies are just not there anymore and when you come to think about it you will always remember that you weren't free but just like those other 99.9% of people you were making someone else much much more richer, and all that "big" money you were earning was just breadcrumbs to your bosses..anarchy is the answer i'm telling you

You need to be smart when creating images. This images are aligned top right, so make them "top right" images (search for sliding doors technique)

there are 2 things i just love about google. it's their search, and email. email is best couse it's add free, and i hope it stays that way. but google has branched more from search, and email to, like you said, blog and video. now they are finding a way to be the first ones to catch that video, and share it. i know internet is big, and there is space for everybody but if google tries to become "internet" then they will have to do much more than acquiring communities. why don't they start with massive new cable layings in countries. they have to figure out the way to give us internet without the need of us paying to our ISP's. i have to pay 15$ month for my 1Mbit (5Gb download). Now that price is just way off. I would rather pay that to google, which would then provide me with even faster internet. i'm bit ot now, but google needs to "come to earth" and build massive infrastructure for internet2 soon, or it wouldn't be fair to users using internet. it can't leave us on mercy of our ISP's whom we pay so much for so little.. my idea is super new internet, which every user at his own home could have server, and address, but i just still can't figure out how to do it without digging and installing new wiress, but google could.. if i was about to start a new community, i would need domain (easy), server, (bit harder), and a lot's and lot's of bandwidth. Fast stable and quality bandwidth. Where can i get that at fair price?! Beacouse i want it to be ad free, but it can't be 100% free beacouse someone has to pay for those things.

I've been thinking for a while on that YouTube fenomena. Although it is great idea, sharing videos and that, what is the code that is worth all of that money. I don't have anything against the idea on making a website and then selling it for billions, but what is worth all of those billions.Think about it for a while?Page is like any other page, except you have the abillity to upload video in different categories. There is not anything new or revolutionary about that idea. Videos were shared even before youtube, and it would be shared even if there was no youtube. Every video has at least 5 megs, and servers that upload videos are logicly giant servers with huge harddisks, processor speeds and etc.Those servers have to search and upload videos on user request, and bandwith used for that is enormous. I have my little website with 2 visitors (me, and me with internet explorer),and even with any content i spend about 200 Megs of bandwith. Imagine how much bandwith is spent on server that uploads 70.000 videos at one day. If that are the smallest videos of 5 megs, 5*70 000 is 350 000 Megs a day. Now when you count visitors of aprox 1 million a day which see 1 million videos of 5 Megs it is 5 000 000 megs a day only to look at those videos.What is the price that google pays for that bandwith, and how can it be worthy to them?I kinda have a feeling that google isn't telling us the whole story in that youtube thing, and i have my own opinion about it.It is highly unlikely that google with all programmers working there isn't able to make website that is similar to youtube. But instead of making a website for themselves they paid enormous price of 1.6b& to two guys who coded the website.Like any other companies google has enormous profit, i guess it is more than billions a year since they had money to pay that much for youtube.There are two things that i think of?First one is that google had it's development team working on that idea, and that team created youtube, but in order to cut taxes for profit they "secretly" payed it to some unknown guys in order to pay less taxes, or the other one which i like more is that google saw that idea good and paid lot's of money in order to inspire young programmers to develop, and learn new code, and to find new ways to implement it in www.What do you think? How will the youtube payoff it's price, and how long will it take for it to do that

i agree with you master_bacarra.. and i have also played that game in your sig super mario cart.. i finished to super hard (150%) when you unlock new tracks, and that crazy rainbow track at the end but when i was playing that game i felt so after many many hours in front of TV.. It was a long time ago and i really don't remember did i finish all gold on 150% difficulty couse i don't remember getting anything else after unlocking those special tracks.. it was 12 years ago .. now the games have changed but there is no that charm in playing like before.. I saw that nintend wii super mario, it's awsome, but i couldn't finish first level on that game yes trap 17 has rules but thanks to those rules, and people respecting and most of all understanding them this community is so good... i like that profile upgrade, but i still haven't found any friends here, although i like many many posts i read, but i'm here for just 4 months so it is early for yet...

thanks for the tip.. Really is much simpler. I solved that issue with bolding < and > characters. It was kinda simple, all i had to do is add <pre> tag to echo.. like you did with htmlentities code it works just fine...

I'm trying to make codebox for my guestbook so that users can post PHP code inside..I tried many versions but none of them worksIf i use <xpm>, <pre> or <textbox> i can display HTML code, but when i try to write PHP code it executes it does not display..There is a way to make swap for <? with ANSCI characters but that is not convenient for me.You have codebox in forum to display php how can i make that?!thanks
