And if there was no water air wouldn't egzist (0xygen i mean, and that is what humans use for breathing). Earth is special not beacouse of air but beacouse of massive amounts of water. And if air would get to much polluted, humans would die but fishes wouldn't. That would be logical, beacouse fishes didn't pollute air in first place, it was combination of cows and human technology and need for more meat Not to mention cars energy plants and other polluters like Bush..

there is a way around it.. your site is never going to be at top, beacouse Xisto has a better ranking. if you had community on your site like Xisto has you would probably need your own server and domain name. now if you want to avoid first page beeing displayed from google to be "hosting request" one, describe your website in Xisto forum, and that should pop out on top of "hosting request" post. Just match keywords in that post with keywords on your site. i was also irritated with this and when i described my project, which i'm doing on Xisto hosting now when i google it it shows below or sometimes even on top of Xisto hosting... here see it for yourself My site on google.... it is sometimes on top of Xisto and sometimes below, but Xisto doesn't point to hosting request form than to my description of website...

Hello to all of you following this project. It was a naive idea of mine to do something like this in short time with ppl skills with php or java programing, but i guess it just doesn't go that way.Oh, well i'm not disappointed couse i still have mice in my bedroom and i kinda guess he is my best friend after all. Yes he makes some weird noises but i'm kinda used to it by now. He likes cheese and pancakes even they are 2-3 days old, i guess he just likes chopping them into pieces.I wrote that i'm gonna be done with project until new year and i guess i was wrong. me and my mice have decided that this project is gonna take a lot more to it so we are not going to be bothered from other ppl wanting this project to benefit their needs.I take myself from one not knowing anything about anything in WWW, so while surfing i guess i'm the only one in that. Everybody else just understands the meaning and all others enjoy it. Wow what fun must that be!!!Programming that's my bizz.. When i look at it, all i can see is PHP.. And what is PHP (my mice is gone now).. It's not real programming language, it's just something that is stopping you from learning the real one. What is windows, unix or (bwahahaha linux) it's the same thing. If you are smart enough you can learn to do this things even better.That is why i find myself troubled with this whole IH idea. I kinda think that this is more something i would like to have for my personal use, than it is something that should be published on the web. with logic humans make things easier for them selves beacouse by knowing that something is logical than that something makes sense.why else would you do something that is logical. i think that what makes us humans is not logic but the ability to do illogical things and enjoy them.let's say someone likes skydiving. by all means that is not logical thing to do, but when you jump -- you find logic in that you did that, no matter maybe all of your friends told you not to!that also makes us different. something that is logical to me isn't logical to someone else. but that doesn't mean we need to fight over it. we can discuss it and at the end someone might change his logic depending on arguments presented in discussion.also logic is a powerful tool you can have at your disposal. also something powerful can always be used to do great stuff, but when you get so much used to it, you can't live without it and at the end you become the tool of that power that made you. worst thing is when you realize that you became tool of something which you relied on very much in your life like logic.at the end you might find yourself unable to do anything that has no logic to you, and when you come to that point than you see that there is no logic. You know if you go right you are following your logic and still are the tool of your logic, and if you go left the illogical way -- all of your life living in logic just falls apart and you have to start it all over again.ones preferring logic might find sanctuary in mathematics couse it is based on logic. Most logical thing of all things known to me is that 1+1 = 2. With that assumption people who tended to logic created a whole science called mathematics which now has enough power for you to live in it's ways your whole life and not to find the answer it is looking for when you go with Real numbers tending to +, or escaping for for Real numbers tending to -. And there is that awsome number called 0. You can't divide with it but again when you multiply with it you get the same number 0. How interesting, but is it logical?Well you see that is why you have all of those systems in mathematics, and some of them even don't have 0, couse they realized it's kinda silly number to deal with....

i just realized that in order to have a super brain you just need to want it real badly - so to speak.maybe the only difference between human and computers is that computers can't make mistakes, humans can.I watched that movie "My first 200 hundred years" with Robin Williams, and it kinda answered a lot's of my questions that bothered me last few months.Computers are programmed to do something, and they can't and never will be smarter than those who programmed them. Now the only difference that i think humans can measure their "smarts" is the time someone needs to learn something. There is no "normal" person that can't learn something if he really doesn't mean to learn that - the only difference between two ppl learning same thing is that "smarter one" is going to learn it faster. At least that is how we (at least most of us) think about smarts.So when you make a "smart" program it can't learn anything, it can only do things that it is programmed to much faster than humans can.The greatest example i had in my life was 3D drawings. In school we needed to draw 3D projects of Houses with use of geometry that we learned how. Now humans made 3D software that draws projects i would say about 1000 times faster than humans ever can. BUT that doesn't make any difference at all beacouse if you can't draw, or better, if you don't understand 3D you can't use that software even if someone teaches you how.OK, i got a bit OT now, what does all of this have to do with superbrain..Let's say that we drew those projects by hand before and it took about a week to make few walls of house. While drawing one would listen to music, or rest and read some book while resting.Now, computer steals time beacouse it allows "one" to be quickly done with his project and therefor takes you a week of listening to music or reading book, and only gives you more work which has to be done. Of course it is not that simple.You can say maybe that you listen to music in front of computer, but by doing what? Bloging? If you think of how human brain works than you can say that on concert you will understand music better than listening CD, maybe beacouse you will "feel the rithm" or be drunk or just feel "grooovy"...I kinda lost my point here, but if anybody catches it feel free to reply

I downloaded MySQL Administrator to administer database that i have on my computer. I found this tool to be quite useful for managing database so i tried to connect to my database at Xisto...It wouldn't work as i expected, but could it be possible to do this, or it isn't allowed for security reasons?It's not a "must" of course, couse CPanel here is great tool for doing anything with database (with PHPMyAdmin of course) but i was just wondering could it be possible.When i tried to login i used this optionsserver host: myusername@Xisto.comusername: myusernamepass: mypassofcourseport: default (3306)This error pops out:"Could not connect to specified instanceMySQL error number 1045Access denied for user myusername@myIP.myISP"So is this some safety issue or do i need to try something else? very nice piece of code i must say..i was interested in some way of loading certain div from database or another file. when that would be possible and with this code you shown someone could make customizable menus for users on their site easily.what would be the simplest way to load certain div from database? (sorry for OT post)loading divs from database could be interesting beacouse users could maybe create their own menus and store them to database so that later they could easily access them when they login to site...

since you wrote a very good post there i'll answer this. yes house should be something like virtual community. Now you could choose members if you are owner of the house. Also that credits roommates thing is just idea, more of what you could have in house. i know that information isn't very helpfull but it'll be better couse i'm constantly questioning my self on how to make this work. Now, no applets or flash is going to be used, except if somebody else is building his own house. My house needs to work both in IE and FFox. I know it's the wayste of time but i kinda don't care. Programming is not my good side, to be egzact i have no idea how to programm anything. But if you intend to join and know how to programm you feel free to. sorry.. i didn't really mean that you are going to do that.i also had period in life in which i just couldn't find my place and everything seemed to stupid and not worth of living. but i thought that if i do that craziness i would probably wake in heaven with hole in my head, or green from poison, or looking like pancake from throwing my self from aeroplane but now thank god, that is behind me couse i realized that it's not worth it. it's hard to live but it's worth it. the parts when you are sincerly happy are rare but they are worth waiting for. even sometimes feeling those things how everything just isn't right now makes me feel laugh couse i know that for few days i'm going to feel just the opposite.i wanted to say that you just need to find things in which you can relieve your self from those negative thoughts, like music, art or literature. you never know what kind of inspiration are you going to get, and maybe you would create something that ppl could find interesting and change their perspective about things in life, therefor making them selves more like you and then you would have somebody to share those feeling to, and find out that your not the only one feeling like that. except maybe that you want to be only one feeling like that but than you shouldn't complain about that

I can't explain this in a simpler way than -- Internet House! Yes, it's true that i wrote a lot's of stuff on website that can only maybe confuse user, but if you look at this http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/, there you have 3 pictures which explain the project concept better then all i've written so far. Then on same site just /test you have house inside, and you can sit on a chair. Now, all of this time i spent on this was some programming learning and a lot of thinking about how to pull this of.. I built another layout for developers which you can see at /developers.. Now, as i learn lot about programming i kinda find out that programming it self isn't that hard. Most hardest thing to do is to make a project, build a plan, which has a sense and logic. So that can easily be improved and that the code written for basic program would be "perfect" in it's logic. I still don't have the project! I'm thinking about it a lot, and some things just aren't that simple as they seem. Now you said that you don't understand what is it about. I don't understand how to explain it to you if you can't understand it from those pics. But if you are interested in helping don't worry about time, there is no pressure on completing tasks, you don't even need to program in order to help, you don't even need to design. In order to help you first must understand what's it about, and looks like i need to explain this a lot better so that even rest of the ppl could understand. I've given my self a deadline to write a good explanation of this idea, it's until the new year. I write as idea comes to my head, so at this time it looks a bit weird. Imagine if i started programming as it came to my head.. Where would i be now? But if you want to know what is really bothering me it is browser support! It's bothering me so much, that sometimes i think writing all of this in C or other similar languages would be easier than making it work the same for all browsers. So the best thing you can do to help is to agree or disagree on this: For building this project best tools would be 1. HTML 2. CSS 3. PHP 4. MySQL 5. JavaScript Do you agree? If you do write why, else print i disagree and why? Next i Do you agree that those tools are most common tools used on internet, and are those tools used for Web 2 designs? If not write what are?! Now, another thing is, this?! I got this idea before i even heard of second life so this is not a rip off. But second life is external program, and therefor it was "easy" to make something like that. So another question? Do you think that building external program (which could be plugin)would be better than trying to combine knowledge of all of those codes together? ~.~ You don't need to answer right away, just think about it, and then get back with some smart post. i think something like salamangkero..you live outside of social boundrys most of people live in. if you have normal life in your sadness and anger then happiness that this society thinks as standard is not the happiness for you. think about things that make you happy. what are those things? would that things make other people happy to, are are they happiness just for you.if you find that those things wouldn't make other ppl happy to, then you live outside social standards of our society. Also you must know that standards are made for those ppl who can live in them. if you can't live in them that doesn't make you not-human. that just means that you need to find ppl who find happiness in things that you find it and then socialize with that kind of ppl.you could have mayor problem with that if you really try to find similar ppl but fail constantly. that could mean you have some problems you need to find help with. beacouse maybe just by finding someone who shares your feelings make you think opposite of those feelings instantly. that can lead you to self-destruction, and make you asocial person which then leads to total sadness and anger to everybody or everything created humanity.even so, you don't need to find escape in death maybe beacouse you are special. special ppl tend to hate everything around themselves beacouse they know deep inside problems which make them like that. instead of finding escape in death maybe try to make poems, art or music in which you can express your feelings of that what makes you happy. and more ppl which would hate your doings would just make you more happy in sadness and anger to everything

but remember if you are sending files over internet with e-mail, some (well most) e-mail providers delete files with .exe extensions (gmail doesn't even give you the opportunity to send .exe files in ZIP file) beacouse of possible self-executing virus once file has been downloaded on computer...

well it's a joke i guess beacouse you probably know that dhtml doesn't work right in Firefox... to Saint_Michael is this ':current' property or a class. beacouse if i have like 5 links that i want to have current will it work for every one of them.. *edited not i don't want to change pages from index.html to about.html or like that, i want all of the user choices to stay in index.html. i know i'm asking to much, but hey you gotta ask somewhere.. hope u understand what i want.. so you see, this is something that could easily be done with some simple php code... you don't need to reply that. i'll try code and post back later. i was more intrested in php code beacouse later i wanted to add dynamical page, in which users could "see" somebody else sitting on that chair, and maybe when they try to sit on it it will be unavailable. i think that making something like that is just impossible in CSS. ok, i'm going to test this code of yours and post back soon...

Ok, I've been playing with CSS for that IHB project of mine, and this is the result My Webpage Now, when you hover those doors and left chair you can see how it changes. Ok, that is fine for me, but next thing i need to do is :active links. When you press on the left chair and hold mouse you can see that it is different color, beacouse image is different. Now when you click on it, index.html is reloaded and the chair looks the same as first time, which is normal. I could put <a href="index_left_chair.html"> to be loaded and then the same for the right chair, but that would make things way to much complex. Now since i already have that image which looks bit darker, can i use some piece of PHP code, that when i click on LEFT chair that it changes code so that it uses that picture :active as base picture so that it looks like you are sitting on a chair. Hope you understand this question... Now this code looks ok to me. Could i use it for the question up, and how? i'm sorry i don't fully understand this post. does it mean that i had a lot of time or little time? (i'm serious not joking) beacouse i think that time is important factor in all of this development, and that is quite personal what you said about maybe you didn't mean to but.. well never mind. if you mean that i have a lot of time in my hands than you are mistaking beacouse this project is something that i would love to be finished in 2 days but again it is something that i'm developing in my free time. and if you are developing something in your free time than you really appreciate that time and hope that all of that isn't going to waste. on another hand even if it does, this is probably my hello/or goodbye to internet. i don't mean to be rude but we all have some goals when we surf, and i surf like maybe for 10 years now. All of that experience have thought me some lessons, i've been on IRC on ICQ, Forums, i avoided Blogs but i use them, and now i want to put all of that experiences in one place -- in hope that someone who is first time on internet will have the same chance to use it like some experienced surfer. plz, don't talk about time. none of us have the time for what we really want to do, and the time that we spend on doing something that we don't like goes really slowly. But you have to live from something, don't you? Although i don't resent that what you are saying couse you are 100% right, i should be spending all of my time on study, finish college and then work for some great salary. Maybe have 2-3 children. But than again all of us have the chance to do that so i hope i can still live in this dream, beacouse everything else just -- sucks. P.S. Don't just think that the idea is awesome help it. I'm a programing noob square, and i think i can pull this of, if you are or anybody else is just like me but with will to help it's all you need to do -- just have a will to help, don't think that idea is awesome try to help it. most of signs are just that -- signs.Like Cross for Christians, holy Cow for Hindus, or Holy Oil for Bush. They are just things that someone bows to and that they worship.but all in all those are just signs of worship, and to those who don't believe in them they mean nothing.of course there are signs of terror and hope, but believing in either one is the same thing. i agree with you midnitesun that tables are depreciated, but i don't think that they are going to be removed from future browsers beacouse there is to many sites using tables, and removing code is kinda stupid even if there is better code for the same thing. once the code is added and used there is no point in removing it.second thing about tables is that they WEREN'T create for designing whole pages, but just for creating basic page layout.Only thing i will be using tables for design is just ONE table, in which i'll put rest of the CSS code!Why. Well, tables make it easy to center the web site instead if you are using CSS for making pages that look centered.Even that isn't the solution. When you start designing websites from scratch and add CSS worst thing that happens is difference in treating code from two browsers IE and Firefox.I just can't find logical solution why the heck does the same code entered in one browser looks different in other. But then again when you look at the big picture solution is simple. There is no communication between developers of IE, FFox, and Opera couse those 3 of the most used browsers on Internet (except Mac) are totaly different in their structures and treating code.Of course, that someone can say now that there are ways to implement code for both browsers but that makes us (if i count myself as web designer ) just more work to write special code for each browser.Even so i think that maybe nor Microsoft or other developers can't be blamed for that. Reason stands in history of Internet when the war begun between Microsoft and Netscape, and that resulted with different standards for those company's.Now, almost (let's say) 20 years after Microsoft has the profit of billions and other company's earn quite enough (take Google for example). Hasn't the time come for someone to raise the white flag and start to communicate on development of unisex browser which is going to be fully compatible with future standards like CSS3, so that even for 20 years we still wouldn't have the same problem.Another thing that is bothering me is that if programmer even finds some problem with his code (like basic html or css) he isn't going to do nothing to report that problem, he will rather write complicated script that solves it other than maybe trying to change that problems so that others after him wouldn't need to lose time learning new scripts for rather simple tasksAnd all of that beacouse of tables
