that article in wiki is just lot's of use of big words. i don't see how that explains anything possibly know to human nature.although we would like it otherwise our biomechanical enviroment just isn't setup for space enviroment. research has been done but that doesn't change simple fact that we are just humans living on earth -- on earth rules.so why all of that talk about matter- antimatter.well that is probably beacouse we hope one of us is going to be "Da Vinci" of our time. Basicly all of us figure that if we at least don't think about that "crazy star trek talk" that something like that sometimes might not egzist.well i'm one of those who thinks that talking is important so keep up.about matter and antimater.. i guess it all has to be in right balance, and i hope by future testing of that kind we don't blow up our planet.. well at least we''ll all been living in space --at least for a while

No no.. your tutorial is bit out of my league. (i could change it but i don't like using lot's of CSS, it get's things a bit more comlicated) Saint_Michael this code u linked doesn't work for me when i copy/paste it.. you can check results on My Webpage (if it doesn't work well it's my local server so there could be many reasons for that It displays this result EOF; include "$content.inc"; echo<<Home Links EOF; ?> ... Well, it is a start in good direction, anyway...

Well i'm noob PHP programmer, but i'm learning slowly. I found a good script from jlhaslip called "PHP/Flat-file Web Site Template". Well, that is what i need for my practice but i can't understand it quite right. (please don't start talking about better ways beacouse i know of them) My idea is index page with standard menu footer and header (basicly a template) So this means i should have these files index.php mycss.css content_handler.php index.txt away.txt in index.php i would put a div tag <div id="content"></div> ok now that i have "content" i should have some file to manage it (i used jlhaslips way) a piece of code that goes inside "div tag" <?php include("content_handler.php");?> Now in index.php i have allready defined "menu" and let's say it looks like this Home --->link to index.txt Away --->link to away.txt What code should i put in content_handler.php so that when i click on Away link it just changes the content of index.php "content" div tag? I know there is lot's of guides in php but i just don't know the proper way to google this one, and i could use some credits for hosting

Help With Some Website Coding Databases and saving form results
matak replied to PlugComputers's topic in Programming
a question to tsunamiwell i haven't googled this but i think you might already know it and the answer from you is much simpler then looking for some code on 20 pages :lol:the question is this..how to create the most simplest form that connects with a database?lets say you just have'Name''Text'and then something to display that information when asked (how to ask)?Well i'll be thankfull even if u just post a good link to some simple code -
There is a good thingy in your own Explorer..You can acces with WinKey+EJust type the server name in the adress bar. It will popup and ask you to type in your e-mail and password. It's kinda cool for just a quick upload of a few files. For the rest FTP software i guess Fillezilla is the no.1 right now, beacouse of it's quick install and simple setup (it can be run as service to).The second one of my favourites is Total Commander, quite handy program for managing large number of files and folders, also has FTP connection...

I came across to this websiteWhen you click on ANts P2P Quick DOWNLOAD (OS Independent) it starts Ants P2P.What is Ants p2p?Chek it out So what do you think of this network? Is this just something i missed a while ago happening or is it the future. I have a strange feeling when connected to this network, a good feeling. I don't understand it quite much, but it looks ok.PLZ, talk about your experiences with it? Notice from saint-michael: posting links to p2p programs is against the Rules and TOS. Verbal warning given.

To install wordpress he has to know the MySql Database name, and he has to know one user with a password to use that database. To setup MySql he has to have cPanel on his hosting, and than create Database and add user for it. Now the best way to install wordpress is to find hosting like Xisto which has cPanel. If he doesn't have similar hosting he needs to see as if he can get Database, and a user for his website. That option depends on the rules of his hosting provider.

i think you got my idea a bit wrong. what is there to understand? we all have been given life to our disposal. in this life we can only guess about afterlife, and the choice about it is personal. my quotes are just my view, and my idea of how did everything begin. Of course that everybody can "see" different conclusions in them beacouse that is the point. now we could discuss this topic real much, and after all neither of us could prove that he is right. oh, and discussing relligion is best when drunk near some camping fire

My opinion is that religion spawned from human nature and his extreme desire of ethernal life. This is a simple trap set by one's own mind beacouse when it get's really tough out there in "real world" you can always comfort your self about this beeing just a simple test before heaven.Religion also sets human guilt about doing bad things or not doing anything at all.Confuison set by the religion. (Christianity i think)"At the beginning there was a word!"Imagine that all of human knowlege is transported through time! Well, basicly that is what is happening with DNA (or gene code, i'm not a scientist). So how did that word begin..."Don't eat from the apple tree"Think of human's before 20 000 years (or whatever the age is).Now think of a cuple that wandered around, doing whatever they did. Behind seven seas seven trees and seven hills they saw a tree with some fruit on it. When they took it something changed and they realized that nothing is what it seems like it is. In their insanity they tried to tell their friends their experience with an apple tree. Only those who were worthy survived. They learned the secret, and decided that they should never tell anyone about this magic tree. They all went in different directions knowing that one day they will all meet again... They called them selfes Holy GhostsThat is what i like about religion. In any one you can find millions of different interpretation of a same thing. In the end it doesn't matter do you belive or not, all it matters is that you had fun when you had your chance.P.S. The truth is out there
