New Internet Piracy Law Comes Into Effect In France
Spyda replied to Ash-Bash's topic in General Discussion
What's so wrong about this law being passed? I mean, piracy is a big thing now-a-days. People who run software companies, or sell e-products online are always going to be a little hesitant because they have fears that the product they have worked so hard on may be pirated and released for free along millions of websites. I actually didn't know that France didn't have such laws imposed already. I thought they did, but I am probably mistaken them with some other country. -
I suggest going to the doctors on this one. There are literally hundreds of reasons why you aren't growing that people on this forum could come up with, but who knows the exact cause. It could be something bigger than you think, or it could be no problem at all. The only way you can find out is to SEEK medical attention.

Wired LAN Vs. Wireless LAN What is the best?
Spyda replied to christophertinker's topic in Computer Networks
Yeah for online gaming I'll usually plug my laptop the wired LAN and play there to get the desired speeds. When I don't game and am just using the computer to go on websites like Xisto, Xisto, facebook, ect then I will just use my wireless internet because it would be kind of pointless to plug it in as the speeds wouldnt be too bad. -
Well Im not too fond of the design aspect of your site, though there is a lot of information on the site so I guess as long as the vistor gets the info that you want him to see, then it really doesn't matter that much. i have learned a long time ago that site design really won't you get you much members, it's content that will do that

I love Linkin Park. I used to listen to them all the time, but I haven't really. Didn't get their new album either. Now that you mentioned them, I think I'll go to Itunes and get one of their old songs

Happy holidays everybody. Hope you all are enjoying your breaks (If of course you guys are on them.) Have a safe and wonderful holiday season

I remember when I purchased hosting with Ipanel, it came with a free $50 dollar adword voucher. I still haven't used it, but i think I may. I never have used Adwords before. I did use Adtoll's advertising service before and it didn't really bring much traffic to my site. It did bring some, but not anything to be extremely happy about. Unlike Google, you pay for advertising on a week to week basis and not on the amount of clicks and whatnot. Maybe that's why Google is much better?

Pope 'knocked' Down By 'crazed' Woman! A Christmas Eve Shocker
Spyda replied to filmdesire's topic in General Discussion
Wow that really suck. They really do need to tighten up security for him. I mean, he's the Pope for gosh sakes, he should be much more protected then what he is currently -
Good for you. Dude, all guys have been there. We find a girl and then we go gaga over them. You just have to remember, there's a BIG difference between liking a girl and OBSESSING over her. Liking a girl is perfectly fine, but obsessing over a girl is not. It's actually a huge turnoff to the girl if she is the biggest thing in your life. That stresses that you are of low value and that you really don't have much going for you. Hope that helps!

Yeah that would make it more fun, but school isn't about being FUN. School is about learning and preparing you for the future ahead of you. When school is over, that's when you should have fun. All the things you have mentioned are great to have and whatnot, but if they become distractions to your school work then that could be a HUGE problem.

Eek... doesn't sound very good at all. Come to think of it, all viruses don't sound very good at all. I heard about Conficker a long time ago, but since then there really hasn't been that much said about it online and whatnot. For my virus system, I use Norton, which I would hope would be able to pick up a virus with the magnitude of Conficker, ect but who knows. I used to also have PC doctor spyware doctor, but I really didnt like that very much.

Welcome to CT. Kind of cool that you guys know each other in real life and not just on the Xisto forums

Ok, I'm going to be brutally honest here. You NEED to move on with your life. This girl doesn't see you the way that you see her and it's quite obvious. In all your posts you say "I'm the one who has text her and I'm the one who has to ring her." I've been there, done that. The girls who were interested in me were the ones initiating contact with me, not the other way around. WHAT? Dude this is kind of pathetic. You look at your phone every 10 mns to see if she has called or texted you? Dude, come on. I know you really like her, but you're being NEEDY. You need her in your life to be happy, and that is UNHEALTHY. If you can't go a day without texting somebody, then you really have some issues you need to sort out. I would say forget about this girl. She only wants to be friends with you, which is something you don't want. You want to be more then friends and it's hurting you inside. If I was you, I would cut of all contact with her. Move on with your life and stop idolizing this one girl.

Well guys if you want these issues to go away then just buy a rapidshare premium account. It costs like what... 9 dollars a month or something like that? I don't really use filehosting services anymore. Whenever I have a file of some sort that people would be interested in downloading I just upload it to my server and then remove it when it needs to be. I think Megaupload seems better though to be honest in terms of people who are "Free Users." With rapidshare, it tells you that you cannot download another file after you after just downloaded one. I have never gotten such an issue with MEgaupload. Though, with megaupload you are not able to download more than one file at a time, which is totally reasonable to me and exactly what rapidshare does as well. But anyway, point I am trying to make is if you are going to be using rapidshare or any other file hosting servcice for an extended period of time, then why don't you just invest the 9 dollars a month or so.

Hello There Hello everybody acacia strikes again
Spyda replied to <aCaCiaz>'s topic in Introductions
Hello, welcome to Xisto. I think it's kind of funny that you say that you strike again? Does that mean you used to be a member to these forums or something? Oooo maybe you were banned and made a new account -
Um.. what kind of question is that? Aren't there stores or local services that are only based in one location?

Welcome back to Xisto... Didn't even realize you were gone

Guys Page Plus isn't a scam. They've been around for a long time and their service has been phenomenal. I would normally agree with you, but with such a tight economy I'd rather get poor customer support, but be able to save $50 dollars a month.

Hey I would love to get a Google Wave invite. I actually just finished watching that hour and thirty minute video Google put out on Youtube describing the whole interface and what Google Wave is all about, ect. I really do think that Wave is going to revolutionize the way people in the future use the internet. So... if anybody has a Google wave invite could you kindly Pm me one

So a couple of weeks ago is when I first heard of Page Plus Cellular. I heard that they had a plan that included 1200 text messages and 1200 minutes for only 29.95 a month. This blew my current plan out of the water. I also read that you can use most Verizon phones with Page Plus I instantly decided to switch from my Verizon plan to Page Plus. So I called up Page Plus and they were able to transfer everything for me. Their support was a little rude, but nonetheless I got my phone transfered. The service is awesome, just as good as Verizon's (Page Plus os an MNVO which means they rent out their service from Verizon so service is identical to that of Verizons.) I'm also saving a ton of money and actually able to have good conversations with people without worrying when my minutes were to run out. So if anybody out there is spending too much on their current phone plan, you might want to think about switching to Page Plus. https://www.pagepluscellular.com/

I'm surprised they just kept giving you phones. Wouldn't they think that the issue would be that the service in that particular area you live in is just bad to begin with? I don't know, I'm not phone-expert, but when you said about your phone issues, poor signal in the area was the first thing I thought of.

Free Sms Service. How can send free sms?
Spyda replied to ĐeadHunter's topic in Science and Technology
Mjoy... hmm... I'm going to take your word on them and give them a try. I usually just use my cell phone for texting, but I live in area where signal can come and go on my phone, so sometimes if I want to text somebody I'll use Yahoo messenger instead or something. This may be a little better (fingers crossed) let's see if they live up to my expectation -
What Would We Do If Robots Took Our Jobs? Inevitable Future?
Spyda replied to inverse_bloom's topic in Business Forum
There are always going to be things that Robots will NEVER be able to do. On the manufacturing side of things, yeah sure they are capable of doing a lot, but on customer relations, ect there are just things that real humans have to be there for it to work. -
People do this already. They form groups and "help" each other out. The thing is, this only hurts Google Adsense. There are people who pay to get their ads on there and they are actually paying Google for a set number of hits (i.e 500 or so.) By clicking on their links you're wasting these people's money which then hurts the entire system. In addition, if Google sees the same IP clicking on a particular link, then they will ban them from Adsense.

That's pretty awesome that they're doing it. It kind of sucks for the students that they block a lot of websites and won't let you download anything on it, but I guess that's a good idea to ensure students are using their computers for educational purposes and not to go on Facebook or play World of Warcraft for ten hours
