I noticed that as well. I thought it was pretty cool to be honest and I ended up wasting a lot of time on it. I think this may be the first time Google has ever done something like this.

Texting is pretty nice, especialy when you need to tell somebody something and don't feel like calling them or whatever. The only thing is though, there are just some things that you cannot say over text messages or if you do say them they won't come out the right way. An instance of this would be something like sarcasm where in life people might know you are being sarcastic while people over texts may not.

If it says it's "pending" that just means that it is in the process of being created. It should be no more then a day or two and you will receive an email when the hosting account has been created

Yupp, I'm thinking about switching from the Talk and Text 1200 to the Unlimited plan because I am using up almost all of my texts and minutes Yeah I heard about it. While this does suck, I think most people shouldn't expect to be able to use Blackberries and devices such as that with a pre paid provider, even though some companies like Boost Mobile have enabled the ability. Great way of putting it Agreed. I mean, if you can get Unlimited for almost 50 dollars cheaper, then why would you ever pay more just so you can be with the "Big" phone companies...

Wow Opaque, this is a really cheap and nifty plan you have going on here. The only thing that I may have against it is I have more then one addon domain so I wouldn't be interested in this plan so to say, but at the same time I know many people who would love to use it this as you never have to post and with Xisto - Web Hosting's great uptime we are rest assured that the hosting will stay up!

I know this signfies as a very old thread but I would like to just add some of my thoughts on Halo on the PC. Personally, I am a huge fan of the halo series. I especially liked Halo 3 and i played it on my xbox 360. The funny thing is most people will play throughout the series before they played Halo 3, but for me I just started with Halo 3 and then played Halo 2 and halo 1. With that said, I did not buy the original Halo instead I borrowed it from my friend who had it for his PC. The graphics for the game were outstanding, I was so outstanded by how great they looked and was surprised that it matched IF NOT SURPASSED that of Halo 3 for the Xbox 360. Given, my computer had great stats so that probably helped a little bit to make the graphics look supriror. I would say somebody who has an old comptuer or a slow computer would probably get different results because it is common sense that a computer that is slower and one that does not have as good specs will not preform as good as one that does have good specs and one that does have good computer visuals. Now, I ended up beating the game and was going to get Halo for my 360, but I found out that it was not made for the 360 instaed it was made for the origianl xbox and because of that I would need to buy a harddrive for my xbox to be able to play it and me being the cheap person I am I decided not to buy the hard drive so I have only been playing the game on my computer if I ever wanted to and I dont Know how it would look on the Xbox. IF anybody has experience on the xbox please tell me what the graphics are so I can compare, but personally the computer seems to be the best hcoice for computer graphics stand piiunt for myself.

When i first looked at your site the first thing that I noticed as long and the same as a lot of other people who commented on your site was that you webhost does not stand out. You see if you want people to choose your webhost over the hundredds and thousands of other web hosts that there are you need to either provide a service that is cheaper or better than any other web host. If you are unable to do this then it will be extremely hard for you to get people to buy your webs host. You may get one or two but overall you most likely will be losing money since you are most likely either buying a reseller hosting account or you are one VPS or even furthermoer you might even be on dedicated server, but I higly doubt that since it is realtively expensive to buy a dedicated service and it seems like you just opened your webhosting account so I am suspecting that you did not go that far, but again if you did sorry for what i just said it just does not seem likely. Now, one webost that is owned by a friend of mine what he does to get people to buy his ewb hosting is he gives free domain names if you order the web hosting account for one year so if they wanan buy his web hyosting he has now given him an incentive to buy it since he has offered to get that a domain for one year. Now, im not saying you ned to do this but what I am trying to say is that you need to stand out and offer better services than other web hosts and get a better wbe design because again firswt impressionsa ARE EVERYTHING. IF you makje a good first impessions or somebody than it will affect the way they think of you for a long time and a bad one will affect you negatively so now people might look at your site at a negative outlook becaue of the way it looks. So again I think you just fix it and do something so that it will stand up more

Hiya there... welcome to Xisto which was formely Xisto before we had a name change on April Fools (at first I thought it waas an april fools joke, but I found it it was not.) to be honest, I like the new name since it kind of lets you know what the site is about and everything. Anyway,with Xisto the whole point is you can make posts and get free web hosting or you can just come here to post and have fun and learn new things and share you knowledge with everyboyd. I can tell with your inittial post that you are really good at writing poems so that can really help everybody on the forusm and maybe you can teach people how to write good poems ect. Heree are Xisto, we really reward quality more then we reward quality. With that said, make sure you make you make really good long posts and you will get a lot more mycent for them instead of if you had choosen to make, um lets say somewhere around 100 one liners thinking that you be able to get more myccent, when in reality you will not. Never register domains or ANY service from 1and1. I repeat... never REGISTER ANYTHING from 1and1. Read the the story below for more info. It was about a year or so ago when I registered 3 .com domain names from 1and1. I rarely used the domains, but anyhow the time came when I could either renew it or let them expire. I decided to let them expire and I thought that was the end of it. About one week ago, I get a call from a debt collection agency saying I owe 65 dollars to 1and1 from lack of payment for the domains. I thought that this was ridiculous until I found out that with 1and1 you CANNOT just let the domains expire. You have to do this whole process of canceling the domains, ect that includes a fax by you, ect. Nonetheless, I owe 1and1 65 dollars for domains I don't want. Bottom line, don't buy ANYTHING from 1and1. Just search google for "1and1 scam" to read stories far worse than this one. If you need a domain or web host, try Xisto - Web Hosting and Xistodomains. Yeah, same here guys. I am about 3 months late to this thread, but I guess it is better late then never? (IS that even a correct phrase? ) Anywhoo, Xisto keeps getting better every year. I remember when I first joined Trap we were using an outdated version of Cpanel, since then it has been update. I also remember the credit system was much more complicated, it has since then been adapted and now it is by far the best hosting system that any free web hosting site uses and it really is unmatched by far. In addition, Opaque continues to raise the bar by adding things such as revenue sharing where we get yet another incentive to post in these forums because we now have an oppotunity to make money through our posts and the more posts we make, the better chances we have of getting our own kontera ads exposed to the community all around. I cannot wait to see what 2010 has in store for Xisto, Xisto, and all of the Xisto sites and look forward to any new changes that are in store :angel:

Overally, it looks like a nice site. If I'm not mistaken, you are using wordpress for your blog? Anyway, a couple of things that I really do like and enjoy about your site are first one of them is the logo. I like the start of grunge look that you are applying to it and it makes it fists perfectly with the rest of the site's designs so that is a plus side for you. I also like how this theme is custom. What really irks me is when sires or forums or blogs or any site for that nature use made up templates that are so overused, it just really gets annoying and makes the site look less or not original at all which is a turn off for me and others who may visit the site and who are deciding whether or not to visit it. A couple of things that I do not like about the whole design, actually one of the things I do not like would have to be the text. I think you are using Times New Roman for your blog posts' text. I don't know if iti's just me, but when you make a design or when anybody makes a design for this instance, when they use Times new roman for their font, it just makes the site look cheaper then what it really is, so for that part the design is kind of cheap. But overall, the site design does look good. As for the your subdomain, I advise getting a TLD domain. That would make your blog look better and would be easier for people to remember.Hope that helps :angel:

It's like a new trend I've been seeing lately around clubs and other social gatherings. There are these guys who think they are huge players with women, when really they suck. I'll give you an example. This guy named "Chris" was approaching a group of women at a club. This had been about the 5th time I've seen him in this particular club. Anyway, I saw him go over there and instantly he began hitting on one of the women. He started to compliment her dress and say, "Baby you look fine, did you dress up for me?" The girls are gave him dirty looks and then eventually Chris left. When he left that group he went over to a girl that was with her boyfriend and began to hit on her. It was an ENDLESS CYCLE. He kept approaching women after women creeping the hell out of all of them. The funny thing is, none of this phased Chris. He still maintained the same persona that he had before and he continued to approach until finally he left with a pretty unattractive girl. This isn't the first time that I saw something like this either. Guys like this were popping up at this other club as well. The thing is that they ALWAYS left with a girl, but it was always an unattractive one. The average guy would look at these Wayers and say, "These guys are complete losers." Well... not quite. There are some things that WE can learn from them. * Persistence: These guys were persistent as hell. If they approached a couple of women and they rejected them, it DIDN'T PHASE THEM WHATSOEVER. This is an AWESOME trait to have. So many guys will approach a group of women, get rejected and then BOOM their ego has just been hit a huge blow and they feel like complete *BLEEP* the rest of the night. These guys kept going to different girls around the club until finally they were able to find one that didn't reject them. (Funny thing is you'd think after being rejected so many times they'd realize what they were doing wrong. ) * Confidence: These guys have so much confidence in themselves it's unbelievable. They honestly believe that they are the *BLEEP* and nothing nobody can tell them otherwise. Now, there is a thin line between being confident and being a cocky son of a *BLEEP*. It's good to be confident, but don't go overboard. These Wayers usually go a little bit overboard with their confidence which is a turnoff to everyone. But, with that said, having confidence in yourself is a very important quality to have. Now onto the things that these guys do poorly (there is so much that I will only touch on a couple or else we'd have a 800 page book on our hands.) * Neediness: These guys came off as way too needy. Right when they approached the girls they were interested in they began giving them compliments. These women could see right off the bat that these guys were trying to hit on them. You see, women LOVE compliments, but you have to say them at the right time. By going up to a women and saying "Baby you look fine" that just comes off as extremely needy and an extremely unattractive. * Too much confidence: Now I know above I said that something we can learn from these Wayers was confidence aspect and I didnt' lie. If more guys had more confidence in themselves then they would have much better results with women. With that said, there is a thin line between being confident in yourself and coming off as a total douchebag. These guys were coming off as total douchebags. So how do you know if you're coming off as a douchebag or not? You can be a douchebag and get women, but for the most part it's better not to be one. * Creepiness: These guys were giving off a creepy vibe. Like, they would walk around, see the women and start licking their lips and all these other sexual innuendos. Sorry fellas, licking your lips while staring at a women's midriff isn't going to help you out (most of the times.) So please guys... do us all a favor and do not be like these Wayers... Sure you'll may end up with a girl by the end of the night, but it'll definitely not be your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or even 5th choice. Ok now this may seem "racist" to some, but please do not take it this way. I have many Indian friends and the majortiy of people at the university I attend or Indian or of Asian color, so please do not take it that way. This post is just coming from somebody who does businsess over the internet and has been scammed many times from people who are from Indian. Furthermore, I have been scammed a total of 4 times, all of which are from people who were Indian. I no longer accept payment from people from India because, frankly, it is not worth it at all. Anyway, here's the story.So, I started flipping websites around 3 years ago. It began as a small little thing I would do on the side and it started to take more and more of my time as I began to make more money off of it and began to get better at it as well. Anyway, I met this person online whose name was Kumar. He told me he was interested in my website and on the site that I would sell on my websies (digitalpoint) he actually had a failry good Itrader. I think it was somewhere around 4 or 5 and he had zero negative so that also was a plus site. Anyway, he told that we should talk on MSN because it would be easier for himself and myself to discuss everything there, where we do not have to mess with private messages which can be a hassel. I agreed, and met him on MSN where we began to discuss everything. Come to find out this guy had a paypal account and wanted to do everything like the transfer of the site, ect through there and I agreed since i also did most of my businsess through paypal and thought it was the easiest way to go. So... he goes ahead and sends me the money and I transfer the site and domain. Two days later I come to find he does a chargeback on what he bought from me and I lost the money. I contacted paypal and they could not do anything about, so the guy got the site and his $150 dollars back. I was pretty pissed, but I decided to move on. From there, I sold some more sites and ran into a nother guy from india. Dont remember what this guy's name was, but anyway he kind of told me the same thing we should deal businsess over MSn b/c it's easier. I was relucatant at first, but agreed and this time I logged the IM files. This guy on the other hand told me that he didn't have paypal and had a credit card only. I told hi mthat he would still be able to sell me what he wanted to through paypal and he went ahead and payed, I sent him the sites and then BAM... chargeback, again. Was pretty annoying that it happened twice. Since thne, I have stopped accepting payment from people from India and later paypal made it so they couldnt use it or something.So in my opnion, they really shouldnt allow people from India to use paypal b/c of all the fraud... I am not the only one either!

Woot Woot... looks like I am back on track with being the first person to welcome you to the wonderful community. Anyway, I've written so many welcome posts, that I use the same over again because (well at least I think) it explains the Mycent system pretty well, which can defintley be confusing to new members.

Without a doubt I would have to say Norton. Mcafee uses way too many resources on my computer, while Norton is so much faster, quicker, and it really got rid of the viruses on my computer better than what Mcafee had done for me at the same amount of time. Macafee also cost more for me then Norton did as I just bought Norton from Wal-mart and that was it, while I bought Mcafee from their website and for some reason they charged me a lot of money for it, more than I really wanted to pay, but you see at that time I was under this weird notion that Mcafee was the best virus protection software out there. I do not know why I had thought this, but I just did. I soon found out that yeah, Mcafee was good, but again it slowed my computer way too much. I was just checking up the resources and how what percentage of what was being used on my computer and it showed that the # 1 program that was being used that was wasting my usage was Mcafee. Now, that's really not good at because i only had 2 GB of RAM. That means that Mcafee was using up almost 1GB of RAM which only left me with one more GB ram to run ALL of my programs. I use many different programs. I am really into movie editing software, which at the same time THAT uses up a crap load of RAM too, so what was happening was my computer would turn off whenever I would try render my videos. The reason being, again, Mcafee would use up most of my RAM so that would leave with 1GB of ram left, which was not enough for moving making, nor doing anything else.Now, with Norton right now, I have the Anti-Virus software. I do not have the whole security center one that includes a lot more nifty things in it like firewall protection and things like internet fraud security. Things of that nature are not included, but I do get really good Virus protection where if something is trying to install a virus on my computer or if I am on a website that is trying to steal my data then Norton will automatically block the program from accessing my computer and block it from damaging anything. Actually, today I clicked on a link on Facebook. It waas a friend's facebook account and I had actually realized that this particular person's facebook might have been hacked. Well anyway this person had posted many different links on there saying that I should go check it out and that they were videos of me on there or something of that nature. Of course, the gulliable guy that I am I ended up clickingo n the link and once I did Norton came up and said that some unwanted file was trying toa ccess my computer and that uit was going to block it so it would not do so. I was at first surprised that the link I had clicked on was actually trying to damage my computer. I started to think that maybe my friend was a big time hacker, but then I realized that of course it was a facebook virus that was trying to take over my profile or whatnot.ANYWAY, Norton is way better in my honest opionon then Mcafee for all the reasons I have posted above. One thing, though, so they pay you per impressions onto the site and not clicks? How does that work? Is it calculated through Unique views or what? Because personally I can see something like this getting a lot of fraud from people who use proxies, ect to give their sites page views.

Had a pretty similar experience to you on one of my other computers. It kept crashing every couple of hours or so, it got pretty annoying so I just took my laptop to Geek Squad up at my local Best Buy and they basically rebooted the computer and removed all the crap that was on it and reinstalled the Windows Vista that was originally installed. Now it works just fine

Exactly. You can easily see who the scammers because of one of two things. For one, you need to look at their Itrader. I really do not do businsess with anybody whose Itrader is less than 15. Furthremore, you then see what other items are going for with their respective price. So for example, if there is a leather jacket that usually goes for 150 dollars, yet somebody with 0 Itrader is selling it for $1 dollar, then of course you most likely are either dealing with a scammer, or the best deal of the year. Really, if you just use common sense half the time, you will be able to avoid many of the issues that most people say they face or do not like with Ebay. And trust me, it's worth the time when you are saving hundreds of dollars on items that you usually pay a lot for
