I totally forgot about the whole blu-ray aspect of this all. For some reason, the concept of Blu Ray really hasn't hit me yet, as I do not use it nor will I for a while. I know the quality is supposed to be much better, but from the prices of Blu Ray, it's really just not worth it at the moment. The thing that I was referring to in my post was that the creation of services like Netflix where you know can stream movies and DVD's from your computer is really going to hurt both the DVD and Blu ray market because now not only do people not need to purchase the actual DVD's, but there will not be a need for video rental stores anymore.

Yippe... I'm the first one to greet you :PAnyway, welcome to Xisto Zeeshan. Xisto is a great free web host where you earn a virtual monetary points that we call Mycent that you can then exchange for hosting and other related products such as domains, SSL certificates, ect. The whole point of MyCent is that you earn points for the quality of your posts and not the quantity. Somebody could easily make 100 posts and earn a small # of MyCent because their posts weren't very well written OR somebody could make 10 posts and have way more MyCent because their posts were of quality and more then just one liners, ect. I hope that helps... if you need anything, feel free to PM me

I Hate Cell Phones Being unavailable rules
Spyda replied to Sarah81's topic in Science and Technology
Well technically you don't "hate" cell phones, just you prefer to be unavailable at times. Plus this thread was made in 2006 when cell phones were still relatively new... more and more people are much more dependent on their phones then before. -
Life On Earth, aliens, ufo How did life on earth start?
Spyda replied to Eggie's topic in Science and Technology
I wouldn't say that they were coming, but I do believe that there is something else out there in the universe. It would be ignorant for somebody to say that we are the lifeform in the entire planet when we haven't even discovered a portion of the universe. There is more than likely something else out there, but who knows who they are or what they look like. There could be a whole another universe where people are just like us, look like us, talk like us, ect yet we didn't know they existed and the same thing applies to them whereas they didn't know that we existed, yet we are same in various areas. Now, people love to photoshop pictures of aliens and other things of that nature because they people for a long time have been in love with toying with the idea that space aliens are going to come to the counry and abduct us all and things of that nature. People also love to get publicity and thus why you see so many photoshopped images. Again, I'm not quite sure if that there really were aliens out there that they would expose themselves to us. I mean, who knows if they even know what we are. They might even be scared of US. How ironic would that be when we are the ones who always poke fun at alien invasion, what would happen if they did the same thing and were scared that we were going to come and invade them! -
I totally agree.. do not believe in Global Warming. A couple of scientists actually came together and said that Global Warming was just a sham and that the earth has a history of heating up, but it's normal and will eventually go back down.

New Generation Of Dell Notpad With Touch Screen
Spyda replied to web_designer's topic in General Discussion
the total of my research is these information the price form DELL website about 999$ now do you think it is worth to buy a one ??? in my opinion, all the features of this notepad can be found in any other notepad, sometimes if we upgrade our laptop (for laptops that allow upgrades like adding RAM) it is possible to get something near to these features. but still the touchscreen , it is unique, to this generation, not very popular right now and of course fun to use. but is it worth to buy a laptop about 999$ just to have a touchscreen, to me, sometimes i think it is not very suitable for girls because we have long nails  but i am sure i will add it to my wish list now what do you think of this laptop? Wow that's an awesome laptop. To answer your question on whether on not it's worth buying or not, I think you need to ask yourself that question. First of all, do you need that many specs, memory? Are you used to the touch screen or is it a new experience? A lot of people wouldn't want to get a new laptop and then be forced to learn how to use it and waste all that time on that aspect. Thirdly, is 999 in your budget? Around two years ago I got a laptop with pretty decent specs for 600 dollars. It obviously was not touch screen and it used Windows Vista, so it didn't have 7. Since then, I have gone ahead and upgraded the specs a bit. It had only 2gb of RAM and I went ahead and added an extra 2gb for performance. So yeah, this laptop is really awesome, but you need to ask yourself if it's really what you want/need. -
Just because the forum won't increase your post count, that doesn't mean that it won't get any MyCent. I'm not saying that it does, but your best bet is to go into the forum and just post around and then come back to see if your MyCent has increased. If it has, then you just answered your question and if it doesn't, well then you just answered your question again

20 Things To Do When You're Bored At Walmart
Spyda replied to Mermaid711's topic in General Discussion
The reference I was trying to make is some people here are pretty young to be experiencing... erm.. you know what. So I was stating that once they buy them they are going to have not much use for it and it'll be a pretty fun scene when their parents run into this stash of theirs  -
Yeah I was just about to point this out. It is IDEAL to upgrade to the latest software at all time, but sometimes it isn't feasible. If that is the case then this will help you still use your old messenger so you do have some functianlity in it. If you are still worried about security with this then the only other option you have is to use other IM clients (Meebo allows you to login to MSN without downloading anything) or go ahead and start using AIM Or Yahoo, ect.

Never heard of it (you said yourself it's not that known.) l like the interface, it looks really clean and organized. The only thing that kind of worries me is that you need moderate computer knowledge. Problem is that I don't know how much that is, so I probably wouldn't touch something like this and then realize that I am unable to use it due to lack of knowledge. Another thing is I use Norton, so I most likely will not be switching to anything else, but it's always good to see that there are other feasible ant-virus software just in case something happens I have other options

My favorite game ever would have to be either Madden or any of the GTA series. For me, personally, GTA took gaming to a whole new level with its open-ended gameplay. You could literally go through all the missions and "win" the game, yet spend hours playing it afterwards and still having fun. The comes Madden. What I love about Madden is how realistic it has become. Literally all of the moves that the players make are mimic ed actual players from the NFL which makes playing it that much better. Plus, if I ever get sick of playing one particular team, I could always just pick another one

Robots And Love in the 2050 this is supposed to posible
Spyda replied to grim reaper1666's topic in Science and Technology
This is just weird.... why would you want to marry somebody that isn't technically real? This kind of reminds me of Spongebon. Plankton, the evil villain, is married to a nagging computer. The funny thing is, they always argue and it's easily seen that Plankton married her because there was nobody else for him to marry. This kind of leads me to suspect that people who are going to marry robots are people are aren't able to find anybody else to marry... -
Depends on what types of games you are aiming for. If you are trying to go for full wedged console games, that I do not think one solid program will do the trick. Though, if you are looking to make a simple computer game of sorts then there is a program called Game Maker (it's free) that can do it for you. The games are pretty simple, but like I said if that's what you are going for then that will do the trick

Wow I just realized that as well  I do agree with my previous post that these things will become obsolete, but like anwii has described there is no way that in 10 months these things will be gone. I mean, people still use VHS tapes, those aren't completely obsolete so there is really no way that DVD's will be.

Dr. Seuss Explains Why Computers Sometimes Crash
Spyda replied to Mordent's topic in General Discussion
Dr. Seus is a genius (even if he didn't write this )He's the one that came up with the quote:"Don't be sad that it's over, be happy that it happend." Not sure if correctly worded that, but it is a very nice quote. -
I can definitely see landlines becoming obsolete very soon. Most people I know are switching to cell phones and why not? It's so annoying to call somebody's house phone and see that they are not there. With a cell phone, most people carry that everywhere they go so you really aren't going to miss them too often (of course there will be instances where the particular person will not have the cell phone on them, but the chance of this is less likely then somebody not being at the house as most people are usually outside of their house for most of the day.(For DVDs, I also see this. With things such as Netflix, and On deman television, there is no need for DVDs anymore. People can also rent movies from their houses, so video rental stores are really going to need to find different things to offer consumers to keep up in the market.

Turn Off Automatically turn off automatically in windows 7
Spyda replied to kianosh_yazdani's topic in Software
http://forums.xisto.com/topic/85722-topic/?findpost=1064315985 This was one of the similar topics that I found below, take a look at it and maybe that can help you out (even though yours is turn off maybe you can reverse it and make it turn off?) -
It really depends. For me, personally, Google Maps helps me out so much because I am able to virtually see maps so it makes it easier for me to find the destination I am looking for when I eventually drive and try to find the place. Not only that, I love using Google Maps when I am about to go on vacation so I can scope out the area and see what's up and so it's not much of mystery when I arrive. That aspect makes me like Google Maps. The only thing that scares me is stalkers or people could use it for bad things, but I think the good outweighs the bad in this instance.

I run a Windows Vista laptop and there are built in parental controls where you can limit the programs accessible for different users and block websites or only allow a set of websites that the user can access. For example, you could make it so a specific user could not go on CNN.com or so the only website that user can go on is CNN.com. If you do not run Windows Vista, I suggest using WebWasher. It's a web filter that can be used with Mac. I think it costs money, but am not sure. It was used at my school and it was extremely hard to bypass.

Login Data From Xisto Where do i find the data
Spyda replied to Samleeuwenburg's topic in Web Hosting Support
This is basically a combination of what the two other members said. First of all, ordering a domain with your MyCent will take around 3-4 days (sometimes less, sometimes more) for the Xisto staff to process. Once the domain is process, you will be able to set the nameservers, ect. Secondly, purchasing the domain solely does not give you hosting. You must also gain enough MyCent and then order a hosting account. The two things are separate. -
Of course it's not... furthermore the life of a rockstar is a hard life to live. People think that once they become famous that everything will be smooth sailing from there, but it's not. (Not saying I would know, but if you just watch MTV behind them music, you would know this too.)
