Of course the product that actually costs money is more alluring. This concept applies to other things as well. Which one would sound better to you? Two houses exactly the same, yet one costs 1,000,000 and the other is free. You'd automatically say "The one that is 1,000,000 is better." One thing is people just think that things you pay for are better. Ever go to a fancy restaurant? I've ordered expensive meals that I SWEAR could make the same at home, yet my friends would prefer the dish from fancy restaurant. Money just makes things look better.. it's just how things are

Oh... MyBB is much better then phpBB, trust me on that. I've wasted so much time with phpBB that I actually made myself believe it was better then any other forum software. Then one day a friend of mine told me to use MyBB (of course I thought it would be a waste of time) but it was actually awesome. I had tried a VBulletin demo and thought that MyBB was very similar, which sparked my interest even more. No only that, the ability to install mods so easily made it the definite choice for me. With phpBB, I couldn't install any mods. Whenever I tried, I would always do something wrong and end up with error lines all over the place. I did so many reinstalls of phpBB, you do not even know. A lot of forum softwares not have plugin systems (hooks). IPB 3.0 does and VB always have. SMF I think does as well, but do not quote me on that. PhpBB does not and I do not know when they will release another verison, do not know if they will even include a plugin system and who knows how long that will take. What I mean by this is the site requires you to pay a yearly fee. MyBBCentral costs $5/year and you get access to all of their modifications and themes. The same holds true with MyBB Plugins, but they only have plugins and their subscription cost may be higher. The rest of the site have free modifications, but MyBBSouce requires you to post. Similar to Xisto where you post for hosting, at MyBBSource you post to gain virtual currency called MyBux. MyBux can then purchase modifications. Once you purchase a mod with your virtual currency, you then have access to the modification for ever. if that seems to hard for you they also have a similar subscription package as well. Another SAW?? How many sequels are they going to make? The first Saw I saw (funny ain't it) was the third one I believe. It was the one where the guy has cancer and he kidnaps the police's son or something. I thought it was actually pretty good, but a lot of my friends didn't' really like it at all. I tend to believe that movies kind of get annoying when the creators keep making sequel after sequel to it. Unless the premises is totally different, which in that case why not just name it differently? I suppose maybe they are trying to cash in with fans of the previous series, but at the same time this withers away those who aren't fond of it at the same time.

I'm not familar with that card or the basis and whatnot, but I'm assuming you run games on your computer? How much improvement does this make compared to the card most computers come with. Sorry if this sounds kind of stupid, but I was actually trying to get a computer game from Best Buy and the guy who worked there was telling me how I needed a better graphics card, so I ended up not buying the game.

Here's how I feel about online dating. There are certain aspects of some dating sites that I think ARE pretty damn good. Let me take E-harmony for example. They use this unique compatibility thingy where you put in information about yourself and they will find matches based on the things you put. This matches you with somebody that you will have a high chance of being compatible with. I think this is much better then some other dating sites where you just look at people's profiles and send them messages and whatnot. The reason the former is better is because E-harmony took the hassle. No longer do you have to roam through numerous profiles, send numerous emails, and then get rejected many different times. I'm not saying you can't get rejected with E-harmony, just that there's a less of a chance then similar sites. And no.. I am not an E-harmony representative

Hmm... I kind of get your point. When the MyCent system started way back when, you MyCent thing would update every 4 hours of so, but mine has not updated since I began posting again. Oh well, I guess I will just wait for it to update on its own. Hopefully I have made a lot of posts so I will get a nice a little chuck of cash into my Xisto - Support account

I am 100% sure it's do to overheating as the laptop will get extremely hot. I'm not really keen on disassembling my laptop just yet. I'll download that program you posted rvalkass and see what's up. If worst comes to worst I'll go to Geeksquad at BestBuy and have the maybe check the problem further...

As long as everything you upload is yours then you should be alright. Are you going to be doing this on a shared account? I would suggest possibly getting a VPS if you have a lot of these files.

I think it's for the U.S, I'm not completely sure though. And yeah, I think it's a terrible job by Microsoft. It's wrong also, but I mean if they are going to do something as horrible as that, you might as well do it right.

Anybody seen this? The new game comes out Oct. 29. I was so surprised by the name, at first I honestly thought it was joke, but after looking into it I found out it was legit. Now, the game actually looks pretty awesome. It reminds me of Vice city because it basically has some of the same concepts. Vice city focused a lot on the glitz and glamor of the night life which is what this game does as well. In addition to the new character, the game also has some new cars, weapons, and some different side missions. There also some added night clubs to add to the scenery. It's pretty awesome. One of the cool other additions is the return of the parachute. Now you can jump of tall buliding and not completely hurt yourself The game is coming out as a double pack with the Lost and the damned. You will NOT need the original IV disc to play this game, so that will be awesome. I'm not sure on the price, but I'm guessing it will cost $40-50 since LATD cost $20 alone.

Not sure if somebody has said this already (too lazy to go back and read through all of the other posts ) Ebay will probably be your best bet. I bought a used LG Env2 from them and it only cost me $95 dollars. I was actually considering buying it straight from Verizon themselves, but they charge like 180 or something of that sorts for it. So I saved a lot of money just for getting it used. It's still in great shape with one noticeable nick and a little scratch but besides that it's awesome

You're not hosted with Xisto though. If you were, you would see how bad their service really is.

MyCents (Credit system 3.0) is much, much better then the old system by a long shot. There is so much you can get through this system that just was not possible through the previous one. In addition, you don't have to wait 1-2 days to get approved by a staff member. You still have to wait for your MYcent to get added to your account, but the time difference is much faster this time around

I agree with the advertising part. Firefox has been advertised brilliantly and I have rarely heard anything regarding Opera in a long time. I know Nintendo uses Opera browsers for both the DS and Nintendo Wii, but besides that I don't of many other advertising venues they have. Also, with the new and improved addons and such that are coming out for Firefox, I think it is really hard for anybody to compete against them at this time. And who would really want to anyway?

It depends.. sometimes I like them especially if the show is already funny, but I think they suck when the show isn't funny at all yet you get the funny laugh tracks going on. I think the point of having them is to get you to laugh at more parts of the show, or to laugh at parts you wouldn't have know n you were supposed to laugh at.

I currently have a Compaq Presario F700 laptop. It runs on Windows Vista. I honestly love this laptop and everything about, the only problem is the overheating. It will frequently overheat and then just turn off. When I restart it, the time zone will be off and a bunch of other settings won't be the same. I tried getting one of the cooler pads to help solve the problem, but that really hasn't done much. Anybody have this laptop or any solution to this problem?

I'm not sure if CH can just update the wordpress version, the people who make fantastico delux need to work on that. And yes, the speeds of Xisto - Web Hosting are extremely fast. I was surprised by that as well when I first started to get hosted by them. Happy hosting

I would say that Google is better then Facebook. Look at all the things that Google has created, while Facebook is only one site. Google also owns Youtube which is by far the #1 video site on the web. Don't get me wrong, Facebook is awesome (whatever company owns them is too) but you cannot really compare them to the big dogs Google, just yet
