  1. Although they dare hack Microsoft, Microsoft would probably spend 100s of millions of dollars on lawyers and techies and corrupt officials and judges just to get them a very VERY hard penalty...
  2. hmm... I thought you could just delete each thing by pressing the delete option. I guess I'm wrong....
  3. Why keep time in 9 digit numbers (seconds after January 1970), 32 bit values, when you can just keep time like a normal human? What I mean, is keeping separate values for every part of a date, then have a formula that controls the numbers. Instead of 2147483647 wouldn't it be easier to just have the computer add 1 to the number of years after a certain number of days etc... even a watch or digital calendar will record time until the year 10000, why can't a computer do it? Isn't it just simple math.... why can't a computer be programed like: "if it is January, set 31 as number of days in month, then add 1 day after 24 hours, 1 hour after every 60 minutes, 1 minute after every 60 seconds, and add 1 year after every [number of seconds], then after [however many years], add 1 to the century digit etc..."Although that might be a simple minded non-technical theory, and computers probably can't do it, period.
  4. Recently, my aunt just got a virus... it's not a normal virus that deletes files or monitors my movements... it's actually a virus that does permanant damage...What it does is that is starts up with Windows, and occassionally use up your CPU excessively, causing your CPU fan to speed up. Then it suddenly drops down, so your fan slows down in a sudden stop. This not only hurts your fan, your CPU, but it also hurts your Harddrive, since your hardware's heat is inconsistent and jumpy. This resulted in some "harddrive inconsistencies" which made her computer freeze after 10 to 20 seconds after startup... ouch!Anyone else got or know anything similar?
  5. Although have you seen the recent Windows XP CDs? They have like 10 different messages in one single area thanks to their special CD effects that changes colors and words everytime you move the CD...
  6. Here are some links to the secret special pages I was talking about: Google Results Wikipedia Results Answers.com Results All found in 30 seconds
  7. I'm sure a simple Google search would reveal plenty of information. Although a fact is that the US is pretty much similar to any other developed or semi-developed-and-democratic country.
  8. Is this the same as the BricoPacks? I heard the BricoPacks Vista Nuove-XT doesn't modify system files...
  9. I actually want to go to south Korea, I'm not sure why. (I live in Canada)
  10. I would invest some in higher risk/interest companies, and buy shares, then buy bonds, and put the rest in 5 different banks in different countries. Then I take a dollar or two and buy a coke
  11. The hospitals are very inconsiderate, even if he's in a critical condition, they should at least try. You should try to get some compensation from the hospitals, since they refused to save a life.
  12. When Google didn't exist, I was still in grade one, and we were using Windows 95 with a 15 inch monitor, and the internet was slower than our old internet connection, which said a lot. At that time, we used "kid versions" of yahoo, which is "yahooligans" and other sites like "ask jeeves for kids" etc. They were the worst sites ever. Yahooligans didn't render any results that were useful, and Ask Jeeves never answered my questions, they just lead to useless kid sites like crayola.com... And when Google arrived when I was in second grade, we weren't allowed to use Google, since it was "dangerous"...
  13. This caused a small problem since my school connection disallows "potentially dangerous" connections, even though I know that it's perfectly safe, even safer than using it without the https. If only there was a way to log in without the secure https...
  14. I think that if we hit the computer, it should have sensors to sense that the person using the computer is pissed, and it should fix the problems NOW...
  15. For free antivirus, I would recommend Avast home edition, and for a free firewall, ZoneAlarm Basic would be a good choice.
  16. Most people just use Windows Movie Maker since it's easy to use, but I like to use Ulead Video Editor from Ulead.com.
  17. I really like your site! However, I think that the whole thing should be wrapped around a DIV tag and the DIV tag should be aligned center.
  18. One of my computers crash because the cord that connects it to the outlet sucks.... lol
  19. This feature is really interesting, it might be useful with large articles or tutorials, and a person can write a summary and "click here to show" the rest or something.
  20. Pop unders don't work very effectively in my opinion, since they are unrequested and irrelevant to most users. The page that pops up must be very influencial or attractive for the users to continue reading whatever is on it.
  21. I'm very sorry to hear that. My best wishes to Derek. (I've even communicated with Derek before, so it is very sad to hear this).
