  1. I wouldn't mind having a go at it, if its dosen't exceed 1.5MB you could up it to imageshack and I can take it from there!!
  2. I have a few htmlscripts I'd like to share but am not sure if I should use the html or code tags and rather than get a warning I though I'd ask first? Heres a list of some of the htmlscripts I have available. Search Engine Mailing list Link Extraction/Site Analysis Tool Quiz System Forum System I also have various php and perl (the perl scripts are copyrighted but you are allowed to use them once you leave the copyright alone) and I will post some of these also if users request them!
  3. Thats a most unusual use of pink but its actual quite nice to look at! I just made a a 30 second flash banner to liven things up not that you need it at all but maybe... http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj
  4. I noticed a forum I'm a member in went down for awhile and when it popped up again I noticed the hosted by Xisto.com before his domain name took over!
  5. Heres a couple of weird but slightly entertaining games! http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj I bet you get caught! http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj Use the space bar to shoot I let it go once for 9 minutes and it got pretty boring after that!
  6. Where did you get such spectacular photos? Your forum and site are similar in appearance which is also cool! Your not much for the flash I can see so I thought I'd be cheeky and suggest this; http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj I have the .SWF resized to 348x158 although imageshack will chose to show flash which ever way suits them so pay no attention as the dimensions are in fact correct! Only a thought!
  7. If you beleive in 1 hour websites using templates that can be edited and with any kind of content inserted, then webpage maker is super quick, affordable and you don't even need DW/FP, an Ftp prog or any HTML, Javascript knowledge as it inserts it all for you!Of course this takes the fun out of it...maybe!
  8. Check Referrer Using Php To Prevent People Linking To Your Downloads From Other Sites Ever find that found some people are listing items, images and tuts and linking directly to the download url (those that are like my photoshop tutorial.php?id=0), which is a .php to count the number of downloads. To prevent this, you can add a piece of code to the download pages that checks which page referred them to the download page: if it's my domain, it downloads the file normally, if it's not, it will redirect to my home page instead. Important: Not all browsers log referrers, so this won't work depending on the browser the visitor uses and this method can be also bypassed, but it will work for for the major part of visitors. <?php$yoursite = "yoursite.com"; //Your site url without http://$yoursite2 = "www.yoursite.com;; //Type your domain with www. this time$referer = $_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'];//Check if browser sends referrer url or notif ($referer == "") { //If not, set referrer as your domain$domain = $yoursite;} else {$domain = parse_url($referer); //If yes, parse referrer}if($domain['host'] == $yoursite || $domain['host'] == $yoursite2) {//Run your dowloading code here normally} else {//The referrer is not your site, we redirect to your home pageheader("Location: http://yoursite.com");exit(); //Stop running the script}?> Hope some one finds this usefull!! Notice from electriic ink: P0T33n, in the future please ensure that your topic titles and descriptions are as descriptive as possible and that you put all your code in [-CODE-] tags. Thank you.
  9. Would you mind if someone made one for you (for free of course), just needing url, text size/style/color, dimensions in px, background image or color and the theme or audience you seek ectI am familiar with horizontal banners but wouldn't mind trying vertical, possibly in flash format!
  10. The beta is nicer seeing as you are the creator and heres a little flash idea not that you need it! http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj You'll need a flash catcher if you do like the image, its also linked to you! Carefull the stars don't zoom off!
  11. You prety much covered it there but as a little extra I head over here for some more basic Pc tuning; http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ Hope some one finds this helpfull!
  12. A free alternative to xampp and easyphp etc would be WAMP http://www.wampserver.com/en/index.php I found this very easy to work with even as a beginner! WAMP5 installs automatically Apache 1.3.31 ,PHP5, MySQL database ,PHPmyadmin and SQLitemanager on your computer. It's principal aim is to allow you to easily discover the new version oh PHP : PHP5. WAMP5 comes with a service manager installed as a tray icon. It allows you to manage WAMP5 and access all services. When you install WAMP5, all the files are copied in the directory you choose. Conf files are then modified to point to that directory. It also installs a "www" directory which will be your Document Root. At the end of the installation, WAMP5 will automatically install Apache and MySQL as services : - service' wampapache' : apache service - service 'wampmysql' : mysql service WAMP5's installation is compact. This means that all files are copied to WAMP5's directory. Only the MySQL conf file (usually my.ini) is copied to the Windows directory but as "mywamp.ini" to avoid conflicts with other installs.
  13. I like the effect very much course everyone has there own views on what angle best suits it, still its great! I messed around and couldn't come up with anything better than this snow flash effect! -----> http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj <----
  14. Also came across something similar and its just amazing what you can produce if you've got patience! Although you could just as easily pick a flash design up anywhere and produce realistic effects like I did for one of my banners http://imageshack.com/e/p5aMES7Yj
