Winzip 10 Vunerability/update To Winzip 11
Dooga replied to Saint_Michael's topic in Security issues & Exploits
I highly doubt that anyone's going to hack my computer and take control of WinZip.... that's kind of ridiculous... -
I really don't trust the site, first of all you have to download something, second of all it has lots of referral links all over the place, and third of all I don't believe that it really works.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone had a good holiday! So does anyone have any plans for next year?

It never hurts to try something new. Perhaps you could change your site and promote it again.

I'm quite sure the best source of online income is making your own site and making money from your site.

I don't even know if "deathly" is a word.... I don't really like this title lol

I am actually really happy that Google is considering privacy over almost everything else. This is the best way for services to function, and it protects the user's rights. However, there needs to be a way around this to prevent Terrorism. Google needs to however, focus more on closed investigations instead of refusing the do anything. Yet, it further emphasizes Google's commitment to privacy. I wouldn't trust Yahoo if they suddenly decide to post all my IM and emails just because some police guy wanted them to.

I recommend http://www.opensourcecms.com/ for some forums and blogs. You can even test them out on a remotely installed demo too!

Web 2.0 - Splice Music Music Mashup - Community DJing
Dooga replied to ripc's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Well I guess the term "Web 2.0" is just abused and used to describe interactive and flashy CSS/Ajax websites. There's plenty of them... -
I really like Linux for those special 3D desktops and eye candy/effects.

Advantages Of Using Tableless Designs For Web Pages
Dooga replied to midnitesun's topic in Web Hosting Support
Thanks for telling us this! I forgot what "that site" was with all the raw templates.... now I know it! Thank you! -
Could you please explain the functions of the software? Users do not like to download a software to find out what it does, they want to know it on the spot.

That's a very nice entrance page! I really like how the text is imprinted into the mountain! I also like the simplicity in your blog layout.I would recommend integrating the links to the galleries and puzzles/flash in your blog rather than on the first page. That way people can find them easier and don't have to go back to the first page to click them. Also, I think there should be a background color on your splash page, or make the picture fill up the whole screen. It would be VERY cool if you wrote a tutorial on how to make your splash page's picture and posted in Xisto!

I like Canada's water because it's fresh from the tap. However, that can sometimes be a problem, since they don't filter it really well as people assume it's just clean by default. Then, when it rains a lot, the water might be a little colored

Data Can Be Stored On Paper Store GBs of electronic data on Paper
Dooga replied to OpaQue's topic in Science and Technology
Someone presented this in our ITGS class. But a problem I see is... what happens if you rip the paper by accident? It's like using a glass harddrive... so dangerous! -
I used to think that we could probably duplicate or clone a brain, send it via data, and rebuild it right on the spot, while rebuilding a body too. But then that would just mean killing yourself to create another one somewhere else....

That looks pretty interesting! I like the domain

Advantages Of Using Tableless Designs For Web Pages
Dooga replied to midnitesun's topic in Web Hosting Support
The reason I like to use DIV tags is because they seem to be easier to code. If you don't want it to appear, just use "display: none;". For tables you actually have to modify the HTML to remove a section of it. DIV tags are easier to customize and through CSS files, they are certainly my choice of coding. -
What Is Pneumono?ultra?micro?scopic?silico?volcano?coniosis?

I knew about this word, but I don't really like how this word is so famous.... I mean sure it's long, but it's not like anyone has ever used it before :S -
I've never heard of Wibree, but I don't doubt it's quality. However, I think that it won't be better than bluetooth at the moment. Give it some time and it will grow
