Watermark Your Image With Simple Php Script found it on the net
Dooga replied to BuffaloHelp's topic in Programming
Hey this can be really useful when it comes to using images. You no longer have to make a watermark for every image that you make in image editing software! Now, does this work with hotlinks? It would be cool if I can put a watermark on an imageshack uploaded image or a hotlinked banner etc... -
This should work with some basic programs that are created... I'm not sure...I guess you could use reverse engineering. This is like trying to separate the layers for a picture created in photoshop... unless you have the PSD file, all you can do is slightly modify the picture. You won't be able to make the same PSD file again.

Fake Paypal Email Messages take a look and be aware
Dooga replied to BuffaloHelp's topic in Security issues & Exploits
Never click a link in a PayPal email. Never. Not even if it's ACTUALLY from paypal. If you get an email telling you to verify your email, copy and paste the URL that they want you to use and paste it manually into your browser. (It should NOT be something like "Click here to verify" it should be something like "https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/homefoo/bar/verify"). Although Paypal does use text like "Click here to blah blah", they would usually provide an alternate URL, so copy and paste that one instead. Normally, just copy and paste the verification code and enter it in the page by manually going to paypal's site and finding that page. After you copy and paste ANYTHING and use it already, be sure to clear your clipboard, or copy something else that's useless. Do not EVER enter ANY information in a window without an address bar. The address bar should work, you should be able to access different sites with it, and you should be able to right click on it. (Once I saw a very well duplicated address bar with working buttons too! However you couldn't right click...) ALWAYS open a new window and type "https://www.paypal.com/de/webapps/mpp/home; (with the s in HTTPS!) and fulfill the instructions in your email manually. Be sure that the first slash "/" is directly after "paypal.com". Paypal will NEVER address you as "Paypal user" or "Paypal Member" or your email address. They will always call you by your name. If you suspect a site that is fake, enter some fake information in the login box (like "1ksja" for the username and "ak99jka" for the password) and see if you can log in. If for some reason you do log in, that site is fake. I recieve so many of these emails it's not even funny... I don't even use Ebay or Chase! lol -

The program you have used might not have been Webroot SpySweeper. You might have seen images like this: Try going to http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ to find out how to remove it -
Although I hate how it automatically restarts your computer after it updates, even if you don't want it to. What do they want? To force you to update whatever secret thing that Microsoft wants?

Well this shouldn't be that bad, since they managed to afford the domain "box.net" which could probably sell for thousands if they decide to sell it... 1GB is pretty promising.

Is it good to put aluminium on the vents of the TV etc.? Isn't the vent supposed to be the place where it lets out hot air? I thought that TVs needed to stay cool, so they don't overheat...

Any Idea Where I Can Find A Good Voting Poll Script? multiple topics

I think Fantastico might have some. And like Inspiron said, http://www.hotscripts.com/ has plenty of these scripts, some are even in Flash! -
I don't know why, but Maple Story is somewhat addicting. What you do in the game, is basically, you kill monsters... and level up... so you can kill more monsters... and level up even more... However, what is the fun of leveling up constantly, without a real goal? What benefits of Maple Story are there, that makes it SO addicting, yet, pointless and full of Grind? Well, in a way, the POINT of the game Maple story, is just to level up. Period. However, the magic in its addiction, is that you can show off your character. You can make friends in the game, and actually enjoy spending hours everyday, pressing that CTRL button (to attack), and get "mesos" (in game currency). After you become a mesos millionaire, all you do is... show off. So in conclusion, lets put it this way: Maple Story is like life, you repeat a single action, and at the end, the only thing you can do is show your accomplishments... Try it?

Improving Traffic With Ads? I have started a site and need help
Dooga replied to dvalkass's topic in Search Engines
Sometimes, integrating a banner well is 100 times more effective than placing a large amount of banners on one page. For example, you could put a banner close to a link, so that people either "misclick" (which isn't really a breach of terms) or think that the banner is part of your site. I think strategy is better than brute force (putting banners on every single page with 3 popups etc.) -
A lot of people recommend WordPress, and I also recommend that. If you're one of those "lite" people, try cutenews at http://www.cutephp.com/ You could also try Text Pattern, it is a very good php/mysql based blog script that a lot of my friends use.

This happened before, and it's just an error, so don't go filling up your webspace :(However, Xisto doesn't oversell, so you can be sure that your account will always be stable! -
Well I would just stick with Google Ads, but this service is an interesting approach.
