Yeah, and before this, there was that one-line bypass, that worked for all of five minutes until Rapidshare got ahold of it, and fixed their glitchy code.I'll wait five minutes or however long if It's necessary, if I can't get something from the main source, then I don't know what the big hurry is.Filefront is alright too, yeah, but it's associated with GameSpy and the like, so I automatically hate them ;)Mr. Panda

Niiice.trap17.com Powered By Trap17 B)
thablkpanda replied to Microsoft's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Mike's right about the loading times. The links in the upper right hand corner are barely viewable, looks like Home, Roster and Forums, but I can't be sure ;)Nice work, since it's not yours per-se, pass this along to the developer :oOk, ok, just joking. It's nice, what kind of clan are ya working on? Or do you plan a multi-purpose site? -
I'm learning Chinese, and already know Spanish, and this was still nice to be reminded of. Even better, it's not too graphics intensive for me to access on my PDA. Next time I have any business confrontations with non-english originating speakers, I'll at least know how to open my conversation.Excellent work, organized, and not cluttered (guess that's the same as organized)9.2/10 (.8 points for lack of Chinese Support, because that'd own if my teacher knew I knew some Chinese.. lol)

Nice Idea, but It won't transfer from paper to real life so well.I didn't just purchase my computer, and the 30 Gigs of space I currently USE I don't have a media to backup to. So Partitioning my drives isn't a viable solution, seeing as I don't trust any partitioning software after what Partiton Magic did to me..I defrag every few days also, so you're right there.Nice job, good idea about the partitioning.

How To Make A Sig Rotator for people with multiple sigs
thablkpanda replied to snlildude87's topic in General Discussion
Ouch, this is painful, I submitted a tutorial with a similar (yet easier) script a while ago, to do the same thing, one I use, however did not create.Anyway, that tut didn't get permitted - this one is... Makes me wonder what I did wrong. But whatever, guess they just like his better.Mine automatically searches the target folder 'sig.png' for .png, .jp(e)g, .gif, .swf, .atlanta (my own 'invention') and such files. Then choses one, and posts it as the image. If you want it, PM or E-mail me or something since they don't want my tut up here ;)Nice work dude, better than what I do with PHP, creating Dynamic images. Great work.Mr. Panda -
Email Clients Which One Do You Trust For Security?
thablkpanda replied to Anndi's topic in Security issues & Exploits
When the thread starter refered to security, did they mean the Client itself (Thunderbird, Outlook Express) or the provider (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.)?As far as security is concerned, if you recieve sensitive data in the mail like that, you need to lose the free accounts and such, and get Verisigned, and pay for all the expensive certificates. I think that otherwise, security isn't much of an issue... If you have a password that's difficult to guess (not something straight outta the dictionary) then that's the only concern as far as security should go in your part. If you need 512 bit-AES encryption for your e-mail, and triple passworded, non-cookie enabled service, It makes me wonder what kind of stuff you're trafficing, and how much you get paid.As far as clients go, the only one for me is Thunderbird. It's made by a company we all know and trust, so there's no chance of them Hijacking personal information, and it's fully featured, and has the World's best spam blocker (IMO, second only to Gmail itself).Ultimate combo - Gmail and Thunderbird. If you've got the spamblocker on gmail working, then it stops all the naughty magazine subscriptions from e-mailing you trying to get another years worth of magazines out of you, and thunderbird's filter catches everything else you deem appropriate.Panda -
Most defintely, I don't like metal/rock music in general, but I hang out with a few white people, and they have these Greenday CD's and MP3's, and i'm like MAN, turn that crap off PLEASE, and they're blasting it all loud i'm like dude, if you're gonna spend lunch break doing this, i'ma hop in the car and run to taco bell. This is crap.I don't like rock music really at all besides some Nickelback, and some various artists like Dave Matthews.Mr. Panda - Prefers Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B, but that starts a whole other vent of people hating me.

I agree also, nice work bro with the JavaScript. I haven't been such an avid javascript user, so you're cool in my eyes for that. But yeah, the PHP version is quicker, more reliable, and easier. Glad to see that we can accept superiority when it presents itself ;)Just messin, nice work both of you.Mr. Panda

Well, I like it kinda, could use some self-explanation, because without your tut about what it's doing, I wouldn't kno.Nice win, I'm thinking some text to the sides, or move the render maybe to the left or right, and use that space to have the member's name, etc. Maybe I'm unclear on if YOU won it, or if you're designing it for someone else to win.6.5/10(Coming from a graphics-inept playa'Mr. Panda

A 4 Gigapixel Camera The Gigapxl Project
thablkpanda replied to sxyloverboy's topic in Science and Technology
I must coincide with lova boy.. We're moving hella fast in the technology sector, and the numbers are good too, nobody's stock is dropping like rocks, Microsoft is showing no signs of letting up (Longhorn on the way) Intel is strong as ever (their fake 64 bit procesors) AMD is of course, at the forefront with the real thing. No matter how you look at it, we'll have these 'super computers' very soon, before most of us get old enough to drop this whole computer techonology web design thing for a cubicle office job, and a boring house in the suburbs.Nice to look forward isn't it? What Would You Do If You Met God,..right Now. Well?
thablkpanda replied to wild20's topic in General Discussion
If by some odd twist of nature, I met God while still living, then I would have millions of questions to ask. Why He took people from me, what His plans were for my life, I'd ask Him how the love of my life REALLY felt about me, or if there was nothing to hide, and if she shares the same love I have for her. I'd ask what i'm here for, what should I have done in certian situations, Tons of questions, long chats might ensue, but I'm sure I won't meet the big guy upstairs for at least twenty more years (that's a stretch, I'm not THAT old) and when It does happen, I do pray (to God, yes) that I'm very much dead.If some individual actually met Him while living, and there was proof, then he'd be pestered with questions, interviews, insane-asylums, etc. Too much trouble. I want to be dead when I'm truly in his presence.Chris -
Marriage I think its a waste of time, and money
thablkpanda replied to Nani Cheri's topic in Dating And Relationships
Nani, Good thoughts, however I'll have to bring around the fact that so many others have, If anyone's concerned with our little high-school love relationships, and if Little bobby's cheating on you with suzy, then Marrige deletes those problems, in theory. When you pledge your life to someone, legally, you two parts, become a whole. And ElevenMil is very right also, God says premarital sex is a big No No. And if you call yourself 'Christian' or any other belief with this same basic faith system, then not being married, however still in a sexual relationship, would be against His wishes. My parents did NOT have the fancy artsy-fartsy wedding you speak of Nani, You remind me very much of my mother, because she was a highly down to earth person, that would've had that same view on marrige, and such, hadn't it been for my father. She wanted to be a 'free sprited individual, so to speak' and he wanted to find someone to swear his life to, and hold onto forever. They were married legally, in front of a Judge, no pretty gowns, and doves, and overexpensive crap like that. Just a ring, and a Judge, that Legally bound them as Man and Wife. I have the odd feeling that you will be alot like them ;)Christopher Merchant -
What You Hate In Websites Shere your point
thablkpanda replied to sader's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Ah yes, don't get me started...I hate pop-ups, the few that manage to get past firefox'es defenses are annoying as hell. Ticks me off majorly. I don't even like the 'good' pop-ups with site information and such, If you want to tell me something, do it on the page, don't pop up and make a deal out of it (then I have to allow pop-ups for your site just to reach your "Contact Information" piece. Those 88x31 adds I love, they're nice and small, and allow you to show your graphics expertise without oversized renders and unecessary button-pushing. I'd consider it more of a challenge to create a decent small button, than a 500x150 signature (no offense, I have major 'spect (respect) for you signature designers, because ya'll have the patience (and the time) to work with Photoshop. But I digress, you can show more skill, and put more little buttons on one website, than with oversized banners.Banner-ads, they're alright, As long as they're not the terribly annoying 'Shoot the monkey and win a free i-pod' things, with the constant sounds, that wake up the whole house when I'm surfing late at night. (Gotta turn off those speakers) If they're not too flashy, and don't do the alternating colours of annoyance thing (pink, yellow, bright green) flashing. Then they don't annoy me so much.Enter pages, I understand them on some sites, as disclaimers and such to let you know that either :A. Objectionable/Questionable material lies heirin, and if you have a problem with it, then leave now, or forever hold your peace.B. Direct little children from Porn sites. Those are good enter pages. But when you have a site about your vacation to Hawaii, and you are just learning HTML and Javascript, you don't need a enter/exit page, it annoys the crap out of me then.Un-Optimized images give me headaches also, When I spend more than 12 odd seconds to pass loading all your images, something is majorly wrong (Cable speed: 4mbps down) And I hate it even worse when I'm forced to use IE for some odd reason, and I can't do anything till that last oversized image loads. Turns out it's a picture of you and your mom at the beach in Hawaii, that you took at Max Resolution, and failed to Optimize. Annoys me, but doesn't make me want to flame the owners.I'll post some more when I think of any ..Later- Panda -
I feel ya man, I've had girlfriends in the past, mainly long-term relationships, and when they were 'over' I seriously felt liberated, for a few weeks, until you realize that you miss her touch.. but, I digress.Depends upon what you place foremost in your life. Do you like being with somoeone, having someone to love ya? or do you put Work, Family, Friends before that? If so, then this might not be the time for you to be in a relationship. As for your ex-girl. Keep me posted, at any rate, I'd like to know how this turns out, because... I think I could be in the same boat with you in a few weeks - months. Long story, Might post it later.. LOLMr. Panda

Who Actually Got Paid By Google ? Payments from Google
thablkpanda replied to google-adsense's topic in Business Forum
I've been considering taking up google adsense for my site, so thanks for bringing this up.Since they don't like it when you 'share' with people the size of your earnings per click, then I don't know how well I will pay-off with my number of visitors.(Site's still under construction, and I hit 70 unique visitors a day. I'd say that's good for ME, but naturally, some of you guys will laugh and scorn at my low hits.. lol)Anyone care to give me a round estimate of how much I could make with that number of pageviews (seeing as they count by click, again, I don't know how much of an estimate that'd be)Mr. Panda -
Designed By You Or Site Builder?
thablkpanda replied to David789's topic in Websites and Web Designing
Ya, me and mayank do the same basic thing, except i despise PHP-Nuke, so I designed my main webpage personally. My Blog is posted by blogger.com, however It's posted on Xisto's servers :)Mr. Panda -
There are alot of sites out there with the index.php as the main page right? (Namely all of them) However when some coders create sites, they create separate entitites and pages with a ?page=4 modifier, or whatever page they want it to be.I don't know how to do that, because each page is 'based' off of the index.php page, when I find an example, i'll post it here, but Does anyone know how to do this?PandaLike I said, this is hard to explain, so when I get an example, I"ll post it here.Panda

Firefox Or Internet Explorer that is the question...
thablkpanda replied to Judman's topic in The Internet
Hands down Firefox always wins this battle.. lolIE is just flawed, and gives me bad thoughts from the beginning.. back at 5.5 I gave up and moved to opera, then gave up on it, when Firefox became big. Now I use the dynamic duo of Thunderbird and Firefox (instead of the lame Internet Explorer, and Outlook Express)Panda. -
