I hate to say it mike, but you've never been more right. Our current president has flaws I chose not to discuss here for fear of creating enemies, however spreading our forces around like this is not helping anyone, especially us.300 Trained shoot-to-kill sniper men were stationed in New Orleans yesterday, they're armed to the teeth, and are trained to shoot lawbreakers on sight.Martial(sp? maybe Marshal?) law is in effect now, and with three hundred hitmen, you don't know what could go wrong, now we're tearing ourselves apart. Like you said, all itll take is a missle fired, or a shot misfired, or a 'deteced nuclear launch' from one of our enemies, and it's on.- Panda

Not a bad idea mr. pox. I like it. However it'd eventually corrupt itself I think.I was around back before the whole hosting credits shindig, and I liked it then, but Mr. Que (OpaQue) comes up with better ideas all the time, and I have to say this is the best.Panda

What App Would You Like On Your Mobile Phone?
thablkpanda replied to Inspiron's topic in Mobile Phones
Lmao at Photoshop and MS-Paint.MS - Paint is a Microsoft trademark, so we'd have to call the applet something else... Like T17 Paint :)Massive amounts of applications DOES drastically reduce your phone's processor speed. Don't forget, this isn't a 2.8 Ghz processor here, it's not even in Ghz, it's barely in the MhZ :)Phones have become a necessity for mobile communication, no matter how you chose to communicate. Whether it be sending the picture of the hot girl on the subway beside you to your friend, or texting odd combinations of letters and numbers.I'd like a decent pop mail viewer, in .jar/.jad format, or a decent web-browser, same format. I use a rather old (by todays' standards) Sanyo RL-4920. They're not really old at all, maybe a year. But they're not camera phones, or flip phones. And they only take .jad/.jar java applets for programs.Nice thread idea, can anyone code Java? (Not Javascript mind you).Panda -

If you have a locally stored image, upload it to a image-server such as :imageshack.us or photobucket.comEither one will do fine, however imageshack has higher bandwidth limits I THINK.Panda -
10 Yr Old Girl Becomes Microsoft Qualified no bs
thablkpanda replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
Marko is a bad example I think, and I find it bad also to justify the fact that this girl will do anything similar to him. I can't come up with a counter-analogy for you yet Mike, because i'm thinking rather slowly, but We COULD expect big things from this girl. However, again, it's quite possible that a scam exists. Sorry to be the pessimist (sp?)Panda -
Welcome aboard!I'm sure you'll find Xisto to not only be a reliable host, but a rather large 'clique/family' of Designing pros, and novices alike!Mr. Panda - Overuses '!' points.

W/e you say bro, I think love at first sight is completely plausable. Love attraction-wise I mean. Loving an individual requires that you know them, more or less.Panda

I'm A Christian... How many are there from this forum?
thablkpanda replied to eTronicGaming's topic in General Discussion
I'd say part-Christian also, but that would make Joshua quite annoyed, and he might start machine-gun firing verses. (No offense)I accept the belief system, but I do not frequent church as much as I should, for reasons I wll not state publicly due to the potential offense/ruckus I will cause.Panda -

Adult Website Tries To Censor Google Image Search
thablkpanda replied to DYABLO's topic in Search Engines
Honestly, who wouldn't sue google with a decent lawful reason? If they're providing copyrighted material free of charge, then They're potentially stealing (I think i misread that article though). If you COULD (legitimately (sp?) and legally) sue google for a 'crime' why not attempt to make a few hundred grand? or millions in some cases.Panda -
mayank is the MAN! As usual.Got it right, the buffer it keeps is stored on your RAM/Virtual Memory, and kept there until the process offically ends. ( I reverse-engineered (or attempted to) WMP 8.0 a few months ago to create my own media player, didn't go over so well)Storing the current playlist/song clips in the ram is very intensive, and keeps playing until the process of WMP is completely shut-down, which happens essentially 10-20s after you push the 'X' button, and it's shut down. However minor a problem this is, why use WMP anyway? Winamp looks cooler :)Mr. Panda

10 Yr Old Girl Becomes Microsoft Qualified no bs
thablkpanda replied to Saint_Michael's topic in General Discussion
The skill, I'd say. This is insane, I think. I mean I wish her luck and everything, but how does a pakistani girl get to program in the first place?Firstly (no racism intended, or any sexism or anything, really.) Pakistan is supposedly this poor country, from what I know, where women are mistreated, and such. So how does a girl get access to those resources prior to that age?Secondly, she eventually matured/advanced into adolescence, I'd think she'd begin being subject to those generally degrading femine laws there (the head coverings, etc?)Props to the girl, most defintely, but that's just awesome.Mr. Panda -
However right ya'll are, you can't deny that possibilites do exist.Setting your affairs in order is defnitely a good thing, every day should end the way you planned, but we don't have control over those things either. the 90/10 rule applys here (Life = 10% What happens to you/90% how you react to it) before I go into lecture mode and start explaining the meaning of life, you have to understand that everything can't be like you want it to be, and that the reason we're still here today is due to OUR advanced technology. And future civilizations will look back on our technology the same way we do the Mayans.. I'ma stop here before some Mod trips because of me straying from the topic slightly.(Question to the thread-starter, why is this in the vent?)Panda

Nice, tut, cutenews is an alright 'program' per-se.Panda

Quick And Easy Font Instaler from the right click menu
thablkpanda replied to moldboy's topic in General Discussion
Very hot, and as mentioned, this can have unlimited uses, once I do some searching and find the string to hide the command window for the Install, this will be flawless .Excellent work 9/10Panda -
DjLuki is very right, My history teacher mentioned this today, coincidentally. And even more coincidentally, I have to write a quite lengthy paper on my skepticisms about the Mayans (based on fact). Nice thread.I'm thinking it's not happening, but I've been wrong before. That's more the basis of my paper. It accepts the fact that it could be right, but also notes that religions have been wrong before, and at a time like this when our present-day world is so shaky (Terror attacks, hurricanes etc.) This could be quite a possiblity.Of course no human would open their mind to complete destruction of the world as we know it willingly. It'll take some prying to get a being to wrap his/her mind around that fact. And accepting it is completely different.Ponder that -Panda

Heh, again my sig ignorance proves itself.I like it ALOT, I guess i'm just a sucker for the few decent looking pop-out sigs there are. Sometimes people have their screwed up renders, so you see white outlines if you post a pop-out sig on a black forum... etc.Yours is nice, I tryed it on a black BG, and it still shows right. I don't have anything bad to say about it.8.2/10Mr. Panda

The Law Of Supply And Demand...ahhhh! gasoline prices hike in Georgia
thablkpanda replied to Kim's topic in The Vent
Either way, my friends, this Hurricane is just the beginning of our problems. Due to the law of (old dude) for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction. The action here is the gas hike, and our reaction has yet to come. Rise in gas crimes, people stealing gas, then it leads to stolen Hybrid cars possibly, then the fuel-cells for hybrid cars, (this is a single minded view, but you see what I'm trying to convey?)This can't end well, or my name's Bob. And its' not.- Christopher Merchant a.k.a Thablkpanda -

The Law Of Supply And Demand...ahhhh! gasoline prices hike in Georgia
thablkpanda replied to Kim's topic in The Vent
As usual, you make a point, and it's taken well, but what can you expect? And next to occur is that the resellers realize that people will STILL buy gas at $5 a gallon, so why not leave it there once the refineries are re-opened? Same thing that happened when we 'invaded' Iraq. Per-se. Gas rose due to necessities, and the war itself, and the retailers keep the price where it is to make money, even after the crisis is deprevated (sp?)Panda -
Woah.Excellent tutorial, I'll respond first if Buffalo won't .I'ma give this a shot right now, I'm sure it will work with other shapes also, and the burning effect in general will help me alot. Thanks again.Panda

I know how you feel, definitely. Personally, ultimatiums don't sit well with me at all. If someone makes you chose between another thing in your life and them (unless it's reasonable, like to make you give up your other significant other or whatever) then I just feel that the person wants control over me or something. And not to be analytical, or sex-ist. But sterotypically, I'm the guy in my relationships, and (like I said, stereotypically, this is NOT true) It would seem that I'm the one that makes all the decisions and ultimatums and such. But it's adverse in this situation. I met my current love two years ago, we were never very close before now, and spent about a year ignoring each other, and really just saying hi, every now and then. She started dating a friend of mine, and I found out I had feelings for her that I didn't know I had. My friend is more of the 'playa' kind, and he wanted someone to take out, look pretty, and take home (if you catch my drift) I realized how I felt about her, and I just couldn't let that happen to her (she was really falling for him) I told her what was up, and decided to deal with my angry friend later. I did such, and she eventually came around, and started feelin my flow too. And as they say, the rest is history. At least so far..I wish you luck in your future endavours (sp?) Love-related or otherwise. If you have feelings for him, you 'gotta do what you gotta do' but otherwise, you have to do your best to put him out of your life, or else you'll constantly think of him, when you're with any other guy. And not many guys pleasure the idea of their loved one invisioning him as another guy. - Mr. Panda
