  1. Then why look for something?Nice job, better than I could have ever done.. lol Mainly because I hate photoshop with every fiber of my being :DPanda.
  2. I'm not addicted enough to move across the country, but I do love MMORPGsDiablo II is my only main one really... new patch is out.I've played since.. it came out really off and on, and i'm still not as good as the people that practically devote their lives to it.. lol.Diablo II Forever, or until my interest runs out.Panda
  3. Through some quick mental math, I just devised that Xisto has a mathematical 5-day lapse of downtime allowed (seeing as we advertise 99.9%) out of a mathematical 365.5 day year.So five days eh? What is the forum-wide opinion on this? And how many days does that leave us? (With it being August.. )Maybe I just like causing trouble.. lmao.. but really.Panda
  4. Personally, I see it as a dumbed down version of PHP, for handling forms and advanced functions (however not as powerful as PHP)Panda
  5. Rock music gives me headaches, don't get me wrong, some of it's kinda good...Playlist - One Two Step - Ciara ft. Missy E.Oh - Ciara ft. LudacrisGet it Poppin - Nelly Ft. Fat JoeFree Yourself - Fantasia B.Dancing in September (oldies) - Earth Wind and FireLose Control - Missy Eliott ft. Ciara, Fatman ScoopCater 2 U - Destiny's Child Roc The Mic (remix) - Nelly ft. St. LunaticsIt's super-freakin long, but that's all i'm postin for now. Typing alot gives me headaches too.. lmaoMr. Panda
  6. I'd think by 'wireless internet, he'd mean like when you have those PCIMCIA cards, and you connect to the internet via the ISP's towers, or what have you.Not wireless interenet like 'My house runs on 801.11 - b, so there' That's wireless networking (at least how I interpret it.
  7. Dude,You're tha MAN! (or woman.. lmao but judging by your sig, i'd say man)Thanks bro. This is exactly what I needed. (If you have something as odd as this, makes me wonder how large of an array of programs you do have.. lolThanks again.
  8. I'd like to find a/ an AVI to GIF converter, to take a movie file (doesnt' really have to be AVI, but I'd like to make animations out of movie files (shortened ones)Does anyone have such a program? or way to use Fireworks to create the same task? Thanks.Pimpin Panda
  9. If someone could help me out...I'd like to know what variable you guys have the Hosting Credits number stored in on the boards (or portal, w/e you want to call it) --Reason I'd like to <? php include ?> the portal homepage into my blog.Henceforth, i'd call upon said variable in my blog's page in order to post my current hosting credits amount as a updating variable. It could be interesting if each member's variable is stored differently (or based MySQL) however, It's still possible. I plan to create a tutorial about such after learning said information.I've already got a way to log myself in as 'thablkpanda' and to view the portal, however, since it's all background scripting, it needs the rest of the elements and variables to function properly. If this will be a problem (bandwidth issues, or what have you) then I apologize for interrupting an admin.Panda
  10. Quite possible that you don't have enough hosting credits, do you have more than ten? (Significantly more I mean, like 12-14 I suggest) and then try again... Otherwise, this serves as a bump to get some mods and admins to answer.. Panda
  11. Seems like High-Schools most everywhere are the same, to an extent. It's interesting to learn how people are in other places.. lolPanda
  12. Great idea,I'm glad to see some Fireworks Tutorials, as I've always found PS to be too complicated (or i'm just too stupid..) But Fieworks is the way to go for low-intensity graphics design -> mid-intensity. People like you guys that constantly make sigs, would need PS. But great job man, and Pilgrim, no the tutorial wouldn't apply specifically, some feature-names would probably be different, however, it's a similar process. GJ again man.Mr. Panda
  13. Props..I agree. When we're as old as *some* of us are, (High school-College Years and WAYYY beyond ) We should have enough to do then to pick fights with people with divergent opinons from ours..... However, I suppose that's just the mindset of some individuals.. eh.. I dunno. But I agree. lolMr. Panda
  14. Wow, that was a good laugh.I'm sure we'll get back to you when we need dating advice, however I currently am in a relationship, with the most beautiful woman alive. If this goes south (little -> no chance) I'll give you a hollalol.Mr. Panda
  15. I guess i'm a lil late, but Konfabulator is now free.. lol So make haste my friends, btw, excellent tutorial bro. I already had panther, but now, i've got the dock and widgets too! awesome!
  16. Just so everyone knows, lmao, The new patch sux. 1.11 - Elimates my use of maphack (Maybe i didn't.. maybe i did.. ) Adds killa Hell bosses Elimates most baal run games, cuz everyone wants the freaking 'keys'. Elimates most run games in general, because everyone wants to fight lilith, or get the hexfire torch... Does add some nice low level runewords for armor. I'll give them that, that's a good idea, one for each char class (My necro one is gonna be expensive) Yeah. I'm not seeing many plusses here. Panda
  17. You Hi-Efficency Graphix people are going to kill me for this, however I like Macromeida Fireworks as a Graphics Designing program. Opposed to Photoshop and Imageready (I've never been a fan of Adobe, i guess I'm a lil biased) But I always found Photoshop to be too complicated, and I had no need to read tutorials and such about it..Fireworks is really simplistic, and allows for Photoshop-like effects with minimal effort. Anyone else here use Fireworks and have postive stuff to say? Or suggest a REALLY good reason for me to use Photoshop? (The small majority of us Fireworks users, UNITE! (Like two, out of a few thousand)) Lol.Panda
  18. I agree. And I also use PHP Designer 2005. If you're PHP savvy, that's a good choice. Otherwise, you'd be good sticking with something object-oriented like Dreamweaver, (No offense meant)Panda
  19. Lmao, all of you are very self-demeaning (I misspelled that one) You tha man Johnny, as usual.. Nice lil' Guide u got goin there. I don't wear glasses or have eye issues of any sort, but i'm an avid computder user myself... I think you're just refering to a stereotype.. or not? 17 is young, and i'm 18 so i'm not
  20. Funny you should bring that up bro, I'm looking for EXACTLY the same thing :rolleyes:Panda
  21. I find it interesting that each of you gentlemen (except hulunes, whose english teacher must have hated him) and (I'm guessing gentlemen, you could be girls for all i know) haven't been here as long as I. And by simply stating that I'm no longer being hosted here I've brought up a volcano-like conversation with me sitting on the crater. The fact that i've been here longer than ya'll, brings about the fact that I know everything elevenmil can tell me, and especially any sarcasm tyssen could use on me.I'd also like to remind ya'll that I despise posting just to be hosted somewhere. And that's what I FEEL Xisto has imposed upon me, once again, nothing personal, however one of you may feel differently. I've been here since December, and before. I had canceled another account a long time before. So the date shown isn't exactly accurate. But I've gained ~130 posts in the period of 5-6 months, while you gentlemen (specifically tyssen and elevenmil) have 100+ in the period of 1-2 months. I kept my account active before Xisto made the switch-off to hosting credits, just by posting daily, or bi-daily, whenever I could. But reverting to the credit system eliminated the human link in the chain, and henceforth completely deleted the sympathy in this system. Now it's mathematics. Post or you're gone. When you have a life, as some of you may, I don't know, but you tend to get caught up in other things that exist, such as work. Or School, for those of you that still participate in that interesting pastime. And henceforth have no time to remian active around here. The only reason I wished to leave here is because staying active began to seem like a job, opposed to simlply waiting around your computer for the time to come to refresh/renew your hosting credits.More or less, instead of preforming 'upkeep' on someone else's server (Xisto.com) why not spend that time running my own? That is the main reason I left here, because I can run my own linux/apache server for.. let's see... nothing each month, each day. Zero cost, zero time spent on it. I rebuild a computer that's sitting around the house, and presto, my own webserver. While you will be posting @ Xisto.com, i'll simply boot up comp #2, and the panda network is all over the internet. My friend Tyssen, my moral issues are none of your business, and your sarcasm is completely un necessary. I'm glad you find my situation funny, but it's completely the opposite.I wish you two a good evening,Christopher MerchantPresident and Co-Founder - Merchant Electric Co. Inc,.P.S. DanManIt, Good luck with Xisto.com
  22. Dear Xisto Forums/Community,Due to issues beyond my control, I have been forced to relinquish my free hosting here at Xisto, there are moral issues, the fact that I cannot stay active as required by the forums, and that the way that this place is going (no offense meant) but I have no doubt in my mind that this will very soon be not such a great place to have your website hosted. I was here when we still hosted and stayed active manually, now hosting credits and .asp scripts have taken over what was a fun cool place to be. Now I'm active because I'm forced to be. And if I take a leave of absence, It involves either constant rambling, or a want to spam the living hell outta this place. Currently, I cannot stay active and all this while I know what this place will be. In all fairness to the people here, Good Luck, and there's no doubt i'll be posting often, but not often enough to be hosted here. Sincerely,Tha Blk Panda
  23. Bro, you want to hook me up with the source plz? I don't run stuff from other people's sites like that. No offense, and plus, I'd like to run it myself for a service for my visitors..Thanks in advance.
  24. A game I recently quit Diablo II and Starcraft (yea it's that good) to play is Outpost 2. It's a very old game, from 1997, the server that was once used to play it on (Our version of battle.net) called WON, was shut down in 99 or so, but we still play it directly via TCP/IP. The game is awesome, about colonizing a new planet after earth is destroyed. It's really cool, and if you know some C++, it's alot of fun to edit the game itself. Do me a favor, and yourself, and drop by their forums http://forums.xisto.com/no_longer_exists/ that's just a referral link. So the owner guy knows that I refered people coming through. and the main site is at http://www.outpost-universe.net/ . Drop by, join us on IRC, and play a game with us. After downloading it of course. Panda out.
  25. But they're easily more expensive than buyin gthe $399 Dell Dimension... You gotta admit.
