    Rugby

Rugby is a fairly big sport which does get big crowds in the traditional strongholds of the UK nations (England, Wales, etc) and New Zealand, and a fair bit of international following, although not as popular as soccer. Have to say, aint a fan of how some of the teams play with the constant penalty kicking and so forth (England).
  2. Welcome aboard Nick. If you wish to host a website with Xisto, you'll need to keep active on the forums by making posts that are useful to read. It doesnt have to be a essay or anything, but small/spam posts such as "lol" and one liners such as "that's great" are usually not tolerated and/or doesnt count towards the credits.
  3. TBH, when I first saw Hannah Montana, I thought Hilary Duff wannabe.. only to find out she was the daughter of a one-hit-wonder country singer (Billy Ray) that sung the now infamous "Achy Breaky Heart".
  4. Some could say that Milley Ray Cyrus was lucky because of her father back then, and the now "cheesy" song, Achy Breaky Heart, which was big back then, but lame now like Rick Astley's 'Rickroll' phenomenom, which the rickrolls still continue to some extent this day.
  5. Seeing that you're not hosted, I was gonna say you can become inactive. But assuming you're not, you could contact one of the admins on the server privately regarding your question.
  6. I'm not a USA citizen, although I do think that the media over there tends to get behind a favourite, and IMO it seems that most outlets tend to warn towards Obama more. Although I had seen some outlets warm more to Clinton. Also, there has been the usual criticism lines, for example.. 'A vote for Hilary is a vote for Bill Clinton back in again'. George Bush's replacement for example is also the target of the usual 'a vote for GWB's replacement (sorry can't remember the name) is a vote for Bush's third term' , since the US presidency can only have 2 consecutive terms.
  7. Welcome aboard, and post well with thought out and decent posts. Just a hint, forum posting is needed to keep the hosting active, and it can be done by posting on the forums. However "spam posts"(for example one-liners with only two or three words) are usually not tolerated by the mods on here, and does not go towards the credit and is usually deleted.
  8. Madonna grew up with a different generation. It would be very difficult for her to try to connect with today's generation, considering the many teen pop singers that are around today, even those that has been in trouble of late (eg Britney and Lohan). But still, those that made it back then and lasted as long as they did (eg Madonna) will always be remembered as a legend, despite the behaviour of some being less than desirable.
  9. Welcome aboard Josh. Hope to see ya around on the boards, just a reminder though posting on the forums is usually needed to keep active, and to keep the hosting active since forum posts are done through credits by the amount typed. As others said, the post has to be of good quality and not of the "spam" type (eg one liners or one-two word only posts are usually deleted and the poster given a reminder or warning) for it to be counted.
  10. It really depends on the government over in China. There may have been a few members from China that pop in, but it seems that a number of those members are ex-pats which may now be living elsewhere. However, there is nothing a website administrator can do if a site is blocked by the chinese government, which bars chinese internet surfers from viewing particular sites.
  11. Hello,Welcome to site, enjoy your stay and remember to stay active. Best wishes with the site you may wish to create, and dont forget to link to your site in signatures on various sites that you may post on. Just remember, to keep the hosting active you will need to at least be able to stay active on the forums, as credits do go down by one per day, but i'm sure that you are able to stay active by making good clean quality posts, and not of the spam type, which spam type posts are usually frowned upon.Once again, welcome and see ya around on the boards.
  12. A further suggestion, if traffic is going up and down like a yoyo, is to keep the content fresh, as well as keep posting regularly on other forums, which allows advertising in signatures. If you are gonna advertise in signatures on other forums, like others said, I would strongly suggest to have a catchy signature which will catch a readers attention. For example, if a forum board is something about shirts, their design and so forth, a signature could be colourful with a small shirt and maybe a phrase or line after the URL (in the signature of cause) leading the reader to the site.
  13. Personally I rather have it illegal as well as Cigarettes, but IF they ever make it legal, there would obviously need to be a age limit to obtaining Marijuana, in the same way as Alcohol and Ciggies. I've gotta laugh at the picture posted by the poster above, scary but something similar could happen in a small town picture
  14. Looks good by design, good luck to it and I hope traffic picks up there very soon.
  15. Have to say I tend to agree with the above, when chosing a web provider, I would suggest a backend website CMS such as Fantastico which has the modules in a menu, ready to be installed and uploaded onto the website.
  16. Never got to wear glasses, although I had briefly used contact lenses for a while. The glasses I mainly wear those days are sunglasses, which in most cases are under the sun on a very bright sunny day, or even a bright cloudy day as well.
  17. They may say they are trying to gradually trying to improve themselves in time for the Olympics. But still, this shouldn't come to a suprise since China are still a communist country. Air pollution is still a issue however, considering the amount of masks and the like, and even some athletes seem to be discussing the issue on it.
  18. If the water went inside, it wouldve likely damaged the other circuits and as the poster above said, it would be time to buy a new camera. If the cameras new and still under warranty, I would suggest going to the dealer and asking how much it would cost for a genuine repair.
  19. Yes, it would be interesting how they are going to get a terabyte into a laptop. But I'd imagine they would be very expensive at first, as it doesnt seem to be too far away (say a year, or two, or three) before terabyte HDDs come out for general usage, as more powerful programs, maybe even a Windows Vista Upgrade or even a different operating system altogether (probably another Microsoft creation *roll* would come out requiring even more powerful specs, considering there are computer processors and parts that are always continually being updating, being created and released.
  20. Seems fun to build, whilst amazing at the same time. But it doesnt seem to be a suprise that uni/college students can come up with amazing things if they really put their mind and passion into it.
  21. Caffeine can be addictive. Yet I dont drink coffee all that often at all, but will admit I do drink it whilst under stress for whichever reason, whether if its work or family reasons I do tend to turn to it as a last resort. But yes, it does seem bad if you do get addicted to it, eg drinking it regularly, which thankfully I dont drink coffee that often.
  22. I dont mind rappers in general, but I have to say is talking really fast a form of singing at all. I dont have the time right now to even bother typing an essay and/or debate on this. But talking really fast in a song (eg not singing), for example "yowassupsnoopdoginthehouseandgonnagetonwiththechicks" seems more of a how fast they can get their point across in 3 to 4 minutes.
  23. Yes, it seems that many long distance internet relationships eventually fail, especially if they hadnt met each other in real life after a while. Although I do give kudos to those that still are in those type of relationships, even those that hadnt met each other in RL yet.
  24. Road Runner was also another classic, by the same mob (Warner bros) that brought Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, etc. Wile E Coyote would go to many ways in an attempt to catch the road runner for lunch/dinner/etc. Also, Wile E Coyote did also speak when not chasing road runner, instead speaking whilst after Bugs Bunny.
  25. Gmail for POP3 access, and data storage when checking emails through the gmail interface itself. However, of course I started initially through hotmail, and on occasions still use it since I simulataneously also use MSN messenger as well.
