Dravid really struggled today it seems, especially with maidens coming from new (but inexperienced) Australian test bowlers, such as Mitchell Johnson and also having to handle the pace against Lee and Stuart Clark. Although Tendulkar did do well with a knock to keep India together, a middle order collapse eventuated with the bowling of S Clark, good line and length.

Worst: Some celebrities going through their mid-life crisis, problems, etc etc. I think at least leave them in privacy to sort out their problems once it becomes known. Examples being Alcohol problems, early pregnancy, going off the rails. The celebrities involved are obvious as mentioned in other posts and in the wide stream media. As for best, have to agree that some things on the internet, interweb, or whatever the slang may be along people. Especially with yahoos interface, the attempts to integrate messengers into a one official client (like Trillian had done earlier). Although Adobe taking over Macromedia was indeed very interesting, and considering the prices for the software didnt really change that much.. either on the RRP or in retailers itself. Even if it was discounted, it wasnt really by that much.

Merry Christmas Everyone! And Have A Happy New Year!
arnz replied to csp4.0's topic in General Discussion
Likewise. Merry Christmas to all, and a great new year as per in the other thread. To add on to that, hope the year coming is better than the last. -
Ok, nearly the end of christmas day down under. What I've got was $200, some CDs (Eagles, Zeppelin, U2, etc), alarm clock and a bunch of clothes. It aint that flash, but it's a reasonable bonus for christmas alongside the family and extended relatives that visited today for chrissy lunch. Dinners was the left overs, but all and all an okay year (meh, not that flash), just hope next year brings out a greater one than the last.

What If Every Single Day... was entirely different from the day before
arnz replied to YungOdo's topic in General Discussion
Heaps of opportunities to explore, and not knowing what may happen next would be very interesting indeed, if coming into that situation. There may be situations like that at work/business and so forth. But a full-blown situation of not knowing what will happen the next day would indeed make a individual think or adapt to what the next day's challenges bring. -
I wouldnt mind a bit of cash, although I'll prolly know i'll get some clothes and prolly a new pair of sunnies after breaking some cheapo ones I bought off at a market early in the year. Also a new laptop would be nice, but I'm dreaming on that one.Merry Christmas to all btw, and hope you all get the presents that you wanted while spending the time with families, close friends and relatives. Christmas aint bout the guy in the red suit and all, its about spending close time with the family, while for some there are celebrating for religious reasons (eg Jesus Christ).

I personally do not think its possible to nuke the sun as its well too far away for any machine or so to hit it. But in a unlikely scenario of that happening, it would most likely been dark 24/hours.. Would be interesting to see how it effects temperature.

Alternatively, they could raise the learners age in the majority of areas to 17 (which is pretty much the student's last year of school), and make em hold it for a year before they can legally go for their proper license/Provisionals/ or whatever they may call it in their respective countries. That way many would be at least responsible and have the reflexes to drive when they get out of school. As for those that may get a license later than normal (For example, 3 years after leaving school), it depends on their own situation really.

Collages tend to be rampart in Art/Design type lessons. Just to get a feel of what makes a sign, or a poster, or an advertisement and the like. Getting onto topic, the collages seen are pretty good. Especially liked the pop art one, gave me a reminder of the early years in music before the "modern pop rubbish" that is in music today.

Very good graphics indeed. Echo the above sentiments. Had played the earlier versions of Grand Turismo (1/2) and they were pretty good then. Also, the lancer does kick *bottom* as well.

Why Does The World Hate America? Is america hated?
arnz replied to iGuest's topic in General Discussion
Many dont hate america. It just seems that some people dislike their arrogance in most cases. The War on Terror for example and the reasons for invading Iraq, only to find out that there was no evidence of Weapons of Mass destruction as Bush and co may have claimed. America may have some nice people, but there are those that ruin it or displays what may be perceived in overseas countries. But other countries may suffer similarly, esp Australia where some Americans believe that there are kangaroos hoping around the towns and roads :| .. -
Triple J (Australia), Last.fm, and there is also some fairly good radio stations found through google as well. As for buying it, I would if i really like it (eg I am bothered at times to buy some good songs online). Although I'd admit to downloading it first and giving it a go, which in turn eventually gets deleted if I dont like it.

I dont get it tbh as I dont play darts that much unless if i'm in a pub and drinking with friends/acquintances/etc, but will be sure to give it a read. Anyways might even be tempted to buy the magnetic or plastic type dart boards.

Something to do while bored at home/work/etc. I post in many forums on topics that may interest me, yet stick around on those that are interesting, active or has a community of some sort. I find activeness and community can be somewhat important, eg like this forum with a large base and a active post, or a smaller base yet active base (like some sports forums I'm in <shamelessplug>The Colosseum<shamelessplug>(pm for full address if ya want) is one sport forum for example I pop in from time to time. Active posters, yet medium sized user base.

Simpsons, Fresh Prince of Belair, Futurama, Family Guy, South Park, David Letterman. I didnt mind Jay Leno, Jerry Springer and South Park in the past but I dont watch them as much now. So pretty much a fan of comedies. Many of the Adam Sandler movies are also funny as well. Would be very interesting if Sandler did get a TV gig.

What Language Did You Take In High School? I myself am a Latin Geek
arnz replied to patrickcurl's topic in General Discussion
Up to four languages for me. First it was Italian in primary school as early as Year 4 and Year 5. Then I went over to Japanese for Year 6 and 7, Then French for Year 8 and Year 9. TBH, I went pretty average in all three languages, at least passing but not doing anything spectucalar. Years later, I probably dont remember much of the 3 languages except for hello and goodbye, and maybe some of the numbers from the three languages. -
There are religions that of course do believe in afterlife, and there are those that do believe of a tier of people (eg Good People = Heaven, Bad People = Hell), and so forth. At the same time there are the re-incarnation believers in which those believe that people that may pass away re-incarnate either as an animal or another person. As for religion, I may be a non-practising Catholic in which I only attend church once or twice a year (sometimes Easter, but definitely have to visit at Christmas). But again, like some other posters here and elsewhere said, there are many questions that are still to be answered, in which they may not be able to be answered in any form.

Adidas Do It ! opps is it true that adidas make an intelligent shoes
arnz replied to vstxy's topic in General Discussion
I remember during the old school days everyone made fun of Adidas and said that Adidas stood for "A d.... is d... after s..." But apart from that and getting on topic, Intelligent shoes, interesting to see how it does calculate the running speed and so forth. Also where can you read the stats..? -
Nike for basketball gear for sure. But for running and other things, I would have to go with Adidas, even jumpers and so forth. I think while the Nike shirts/shorts and clothing gear are alright, it does seems a bit steep in the retail stores. Unless of course they are in clearance centres or so forth.

Do You Think A Woman Would Be A Better President?
arnz replied to JasperIk's topic in General Discussion
To make it simple, I would not mind a female president, but she doesnt get any special treatment. They would be treated the same as if it was a male president. If they done a good job, they would be told and they'd have the support at the polls. If they did a bad job, they would also be told, and would likely lose their job at the next election as per the election process. -
Birthday Boy Opaque Happy Birthday Trap17 Admin OpaQue
arnz replied to velma's topic in General Discussion
A great job to a very active forum. I'm sure that the birthday boy here has done his fair share of the work and worked his butt off for the forum, and to everyone else here. If it wasnt for him and the staff we wouldnt be here.Happy birthday opaque. Keep up the good work, and hopefully will be one of the many older people (like the ones I know in RL) that would like to keep going and going -
Scientific Proof That God And The Day Of Judgement Both Exist
arnz replied to omarsdali's topic in General Discussion
Probably would have to be in the same question of, is there really a god?. There is no physical evidence or proof of whether a thing exists or not. I may be raised as a non-practising Catholic (as I dont really go to church except when it's at Christmas). But TBH, I guess it would be a wait and see type situation rather than using methods to find out, or going to the extremes like some people (eg cloning). -
Reading only part of the article, seems the Euro has gone strength to strength since they united the currencies of many European nations not that long ago.
