  1. I love it. I'm a big fan of rap (well, the more sung types of it) and I think this song really sums up the worlds problems in the way they should be said. Brilliant song......And yeah, I suppose those lyrics could be used for Heavy Metal as well...
  2. Web Hosting Accounts at Xisto.com get deleted at -30 credits.
  3. Number 1 is good... it looks like the picture is being viewed through a webcam or similar tool. But I prefer number two, because it looks more realistic - the background scenery is more clearer and more dramatic.
  4. You mean you only just found out about this? There are videos of people doing it EVERYWHERE! Just checkout yootube or something and you'll see...You may like to know that after Mentos found out about this, they we're very pleased! They want everybody to try this expiriment so they can use it as an advertising campaign! But Coke Ltd doesn't agree... they say the drink is for drinking and not expirimenting on.
  5. For your first question, do not put a space between \v and [0003]. Also, you do not need to put in any 0's before the variable number... if the number is [0003] you can just write [3].For the second question... you may be able to find some stuff like that at RPG Maker Resource websites... google search and see what you find.
  6. Or as another trick, do some of your downloads normally, and then download the rest through a proxy, like Anonymouse. (This method is not guaranteed to work as many websites block proxies nowadays)
  7. You can rest assured, OpaQue, that we all have prayers going out to him. Even here in Britain.
  8. Megaupload has never really been a very good service, and to be honest, judging by what I've heard and seen of the site, I find it untrustworthy. But then, you have to understand that the more people who are using the service, the less they have to spare, so they may have to make drastic measures like this. But then, if they are running out of bandwidth, why don't they buy more??? I completely agree with lemonwonder there. What better than to have a place for everything we want to be downloaded from, and ran by our own little friendly community? But services like these are hard to do and not cheap either, so whether or not it is possible is another question. One that only OpaQue can answer. (Mental Note: Learn to spell!)
  9. Yes, be strong, OpaQue. The worst things can happen at the most least expected times, but you have to keep faith in that everything will turn out alright. Because miracles happen when the people are strong-willed.Just remember that he is still alive and is likely to stay alive, and let your friendship for him keep you strong. Grieving only makes things worse, so try to keep calm.
  10. Nintendo Revolution was a much better name then Nintendo Wii. That name just embarrasses me, and I can't say why, because I've never played a game or console from which the mere name embarrased me. Nintendo Wii is definately gonna own, though. Graphics aren't what's important about a game! It's THE GAME that's important about the game! And those other consoles are rip-offs anyway. As Justin put so well: Nintendo Wii will definately beat the others. I just hope they change the name!!!
  11. It's not easy to make an MMOG, but I'm glad you're not trying to make it an RPG. Or are you? You'll have to clear that up for me.There isn't really an easy way to make an online game. You have to know how to use the internet with the game, and most of the time that'll mean you can't use game editors. But I've heard that there are a few editors out that you can modify to have internet support. Does that make sense to you?
  12. I am a strong believer of God, but I don't allow God to be the explaination to everything. The situation you explained is intriguing, but I can't really say it was because of God's power that you got goosebumps. Unless it happened at specific moments, like when the pastor said a certain word, then maybe...But then, it could just have been an emotional reaction. God works in weird ways, but I wouldn't be one to immediately assume this is one of them.
  13. The first thing I noticed when I entered these forums was that the shoutbox was back and that the menu had changed. Then I came here and found out the report button now works! I have three things to say to all that:1. IPB have done it again! The drop-down menu style is just SO much more organised!2. Hurray! The shoutbox is back!3. Congratulations, Xisto! You've done it again! I'm glad to see that we're all part of a professional community that is successfully keeping up with the times and continually becoming better and better!
  14. I really hope they do find a cure for HIV and AIDS, but I am in two minds about whether or not it'll happen. It just seems impossible. But then, if you're really worried about this stuff, then there is the quick answer: DON'T HAVE SEX!
  15. EDITED: Panzer said my question before I could! You have to tell us what you mean by "Connection Speed".
  16. Welcome to the Xisto community, je-ar and Goth Punk! I hope that both of you enjoy your time here!
  17. First of all, this has nothing to do with making money online. This forum is for making REAL money, not GAME money!Secondly, all Game Gold services are illegal unless supported by the makers of the game. I know RuneScape and WoW does not support this, so you have advertised illegal software. Please read the rules from now on!
  18. I can't get into the Myspace portal... I keep getting a "504 Gatway Timeout" Error...And I can't visit the Google Portal, cos I don't have a Google Account...I'm boned, aren't I?
  19. I completely understand what you are saying there. I have had that kind of expirience myself, seeing as how I've tried to get many people onto Firefox. To be honest, it was by analysing myself and finding out if I would be able to handle a browser change that was the reason I went to Firefox from IE. Also, I have to say the XP computer we share (there are two computers in our home) has had AOL from the moment we got it, so I think it will feel wierd when we finally get rid of it (as we plan to do).
  20. Hadi, have you ever heard of boolean searching? That was actually more of a rhetorical question, as anybody who does would know the way to search the way you want to do. When searching, click on [Advanced Usage Help], and this will open a help window explaining how to include or exclude words from searches. You should find it most helpful. Back on topic, and I have to say that it annoys me that the situation in these forums is getting so bad that members are being forced to make threads like these. The rules are clearly posted, the search feature can be found on every page, and, looking at the majority of posts in this forum, most of us know what quality posting requires. So why is everyone being so ignorant?!? I tell you, Xisto is falling apart. So I, for one, am glad to see there is still the small percentage of people who are doing everything they can to keep this forum together and ensure order over this community. To sum this up, the majority of members of Xisto should attempt to get their act together. Nuff said.
  21. I'm lucky enough to have two computers, and they both have MSN. My older (Windows 98) Computer has MSN Plus! 7.0 on it (the later versions only support XP, it seems), and the shared (Windows XP) computer had MSN 7.5 Plus! on it... until yesterday, that is. Yesterday my brother installed MSN Live! on it. I personally thought it was a waste, as from the screenshots I'd seen of it, it looked like the only changes were the look of it and the new "Phone" option (which most IMs already have... come on, MSN, do keep up!), but I just might be wrong. I have yet to use it myself, as the others are always on that computer, so I'll give my true opinion when I have.
  22. I agree with you. I find it unfair that we get ads in such a software. Also, although I am very good at configuring software, I find AOL an absolute NIGHTMARE whenever it stops working!Little known fact: AOL isn't even classed as a Web Browser! This is primarily because AOL is actually just the ISP, but also because the software is not actually any kind of program. In fact, the whole Internet [Web] options tool is directly copied from IE. AOL is merely a clever spin on Internet Explorer which uses multiple web pages to make it LOOK like it is its own browser. These are just some of the many reasons why AOL sucks and we all know it!Check my signature for a better browser.
  23. It is to do with mySQL, but it's not an injection, more of an exploit. Search the Invisionize Forums for "D21 Shoutbox v1.2" and the history will reveal all.
  24. That has happened to me as well.Search engines should be blocked from viewing the applications. It's too dangerous to be giving these details out.
  25. Making a website is really just as hard as you want it to be. Even basic pages are really simple, as I will now demonstrate: To start off with, all you need to do is write this in Notepad or something: <html>Whatever you want to say here.</html> Then just type what you want to appear on the page where it says. That's your first page! Then you can start making it fancy by using colours and all that stuff. Here's some stuff to remember: <html> Starts a Web page.</html> Ends a Web page.<br> Puts things onto the next line down.<hr> Makes a line go across your page.<color="red"> Makes words that colour. (Replace red with any colour. Not all colours work.)</color> Stops making words that colour.Try it! It isn't hard!
