  1. Shouldn't this be in the Gaming Forum and not the Gaming CONSOLES forum? You are not talking about a console.
  2. SCAM ALERT! SCAM ALERT! There is NO software known to exist that allows automatic purchase of items in the neopets shops. To make such software is against the rules of Neopets. And even if such software DID exist, the use of it is also against the rules.Have reported this software as "illegal" to TurboUpload.com.
  3. Notice how almost all the predictions made on this page have expired. I think we should stop trying to predict the End of The World, as we're never going to get it right! Besides, doesn't the BIble say that "it will come like a thief", in other words, not forseen by any?
  4. To be honest, having my site accepted came at no surprise to me, due to it's intended purpose and quality. If I HADN'T been accepted... then I would have felt that there is no-one in the world that understands quality and imagination. But I can say, that having my site accepted did give me a sense of relief and excitement. Cheers Xisto!
  5. EDITED: Didn't like the use of the word "loose" in this name, so I changed them.Don't ask me why I thought of this, as it is just overly stupid, but what aboout "mooseandgoose.com"?(Yeh, I think my mind IS messed up again...)
  6. Isn't Holga the name of one of the main characters in an old witch tale? I don't know, it's just that kind of name. And now that I think of it, wasn't the camera a cause for conspiracy theories a while ago? But, looking at these photos, I can see why Holga is classed as "A cult camera known for taking dark, omnious photos", but I really think that it's a cool effect. If I could find a way to buy that camera here in the UK I would.
  7. I think the four most imprtant things about forums are: SpeedIt has got to be fast and efficient! StabilityIt has to be able to keep itself together even at popular times. Clean and EffectiveNo matter how good a forum software may be, if it doesn't look good or act efficiently, people aren't gonna use it. Trust me, I know this too well! CustomizableBut I say the most important thing is that it has to be easy to change and adapt to various websites. Not only in the sense of naming, styling, grouping and all that, but also in the sense of modifications. You gotta be able to add new stuff to it, and you gotta be able to do it easily! Hope my opinions helped!
  8. Well, this IS odd... I cannot think why such an error would occour. Unless it is for the same reason that Xisto.net has a 330kb filesize limit instead of 500kb. But I doubt it.
  9. Now that's what I'm talking about! Goosestaf has perfectly summed up what my last post in this topic said (albeit his many spelling and grammar mistakes). Microsuck, as my friends call it, are only releasing this new format becuase they plan on making it "standard", with the end result that everyone is going to start using it and cause problems for everyone else. And then we'll all be biting Bill Gates' head off! Actually, come to think of it I'd love it if someone DID do that... *whistles a tune that is so obviously intended to take attention off that it doesn't work*
  10. Everyone has said what I was planning to say already, so I'll just say that I understand how busy you must be, and hope you get some free time from it all soon.
  11. I totally agree with you as well. Sony has full control over the gaming market, and they want to keep that control - and the money! - by any means necessary. They are completely oblivious to the fact that by jacking up the price of the PS3 so high, less people will buy it, and they'll lose control! It looks like Nintendo have been given a big window of opportunity. That said, I don't see how the Nintendo Wii will sell either... why would anyone buy a console with controllers that look like TV remotes?!? I probably won't.
  12. Oh yeah, Xisto is definately the best. No doubt about it. I mean, I've visited several hundred IPB and phpBB forums, and not one single forum other than this one has reached over 500 topics in one forum. Plus they're all about topics that matter in this god-forsaken world. I mean, together we cover virtually any topic we can think of. There is only one forum with more members, topics, and posts than us, but as it is related to gaming ONLY it doesn't count! Even if it did count, half the posts are spam anyway... And that's why I say: Xisto is the BEST forum in the WORLD!
  13. Well I think it's a brilliant rap song, but then I am a fan of the more musical types of rap. You know, the kind that Eminem sings.I imagine that it has a good tune with it as well. I was just reading that song and a tune kept going through my head... probably not the same one as you intended though... 'cos that the thing, you read the song without knowing what it sounds like, and your brain just makes you imagine what you think the song would be like. And then you never forget that tune. Like riding a bike.(And yes, that was intentively made to rhyme.)
  14. It's actually RuneScape, not "RuneScape 2". They retired that name after it's official public release. And yet still people refer to it by that name. I actually got a clan going on that game... visit http://rsau.awardspace.co.uk/ for more info about it.
  15. Trap17 has attempted to upgrade their PHP to the latest version, but it seems to be unstable and is incompatible with a lot of scripts, the main effects being on the Xisto Account Processes.OpaQue is attempting to see what he can do. By the looks of things, he may need to reinstall the original version of php from a backup. I think SqlByte's sig comes well into play here . Hopefully nothing will be badly damaged *crosses fingers*
  16. Wireless Internet and Anonymous-User Chat systems are without a doubt making criminal activities easier and police lives harder. But to be honest, if we are worried about the safety of Wireless, why do we even use it?And all the people who suffer identity theft... I really wish they'd be more observant. Either they've gone into a "spoof" site - which the URL would give away - or they've been sharing their information in public or semi-public areas - which is their own stupidity. Whileas I really hope we can take down internet crime and make everything safer for us all, I'd just like to note that all of these crimes are the result of something we as humans have done wrong, and to be more careful in the future.
  17. This happened to me recently, too. I used to have a dog named Sandy. We rescued her from a family who was torturing her when I was a toddler, and she's been with us ever since.About three month ago problems appeared on her, and she eventually was unable to move. I knew then she was soon to die. So a month later I talk to her and say how I was going to miss her.She died a week later, in her sleep. I was asleep at the time, and was only informed about her death when I woke up at noon. While I was initially upset, I knew I had already said my goodbyes, and I knew it would happen. I was the only one who felt conforted that night. But I won't get another dog, because I feel it would just remind me of Sandy, and bring me nothing but pain. It hurts, I know.I am thankful to think that I still have a happy and healthy cat, however. I know she'll stay alive for many more years to come. That is my only comfort now. Unless I find another thing to comfort me, I am absolutely sure that the day my cat dies will be the day I die.
  18. The English are glad to hear such a remark. I'd send you some if I could, but I'm not a girl, so I never collected Polly Pocket.
  19. For those of you living in the UK, this works out to be about 53.3p per doll at the current exchange rate. But seeing as how you will have to pay extra costs to get them to the US shipped, it's not worth it. What is the address to mail these dolls to?
  20. I would join if I was not currently leading my own clan... which, by the way, I've added to your listing. If anyone wants to see MY clan, btw, it is available at http://rsau.awardspace.co.uk/ (DO NOT put www. in the adress, this does not work for some reason)
  21. As rejected said, the best way to get people to your site is to get listed!
  22. All Upload services usually suck. Let me explain why: They are hosted on ultra-slow servers. Too many people use them, meaning the servers get so much stuff on them, slowing them down. The uploaded items don't get checked for viruses/spyware/cracking etc, posing security risks (but most on them only don't do this because it would be too slow) They're free. That's almost a guarantee that you won't get any better quality then you would expect. In sum, DON'T USE UPLOAD SERVICES! Use your own BW, it will last longer.
  23. Yeah, unless you're using the default blue skin. That one rocks, it's the others that suck. Still, Xisto have the best CPanel skins I've seen so far. Every other company has really messed up theirs. One other one I am using right now uses a Silver skin that is actually white - only the icons have any colour. And then there's *cough* addyournet *cough* . CPanel Skin? What CPanel Skin?
  24. This topic is in the wrong place. The category it is currently under ("Freebie Stuff") is for discussion of Free Computer Resources. Have reported to mods to move the topic.
  25. ...but you can never trust Microsoft to say such things. To be honest, the part in italics should really say "become a requirement for correct image rendering for Windows, causing problems in other OSes and older Windows Versions". In fact, to be honest, even if it does work out: As Arigato so well pointed out, there is not much improvement such a new format would be able to deliver. It is practically just windows' rip-off of JPEG, made to "look better", without actually BEING better. However, I have no doubt that Microsoft will make it the "Standard", meaning that we're all pretty much screwed. Thank you, Microsoft(!)
