i have photoshop dont use it though the best program in my opinion is paint.NET besides firefox, its the only program i really use. i only mainly use it for pixel art though as im trying to get good at being a pixel artist.

for images i use voltar (its not a normal font that comes with windows, gotta download it), for websites i use Verdanamy favourite font that comes with a computer is verdana. tahoma is ok.

oh god, sounds shoddy.ive never used vista before so i wouldnt no wot to do. although cant you just turn the parental control off or on a lower setting?with the google images and google stuff, maybe they had an update which tries to let you only use the live search? it seems like something microsoft would do really.also, is there an approved list thing? just add imagefilez to that if there is one.

i dont think he has got the IP address wrong. the media player box still shows it as on and playing except it just wont actually play any sound. probably because of ur up.is that radio connection information in the radio panel right? cos i can try if you want and see if it will play.

jay, your radio is the slowest site ever except for ripit.maybe you dont have to go all fancy and try and go one step ahead of all the other radio sites?just do it like normal sites do.also, most sites show fsockopen() errors, yours shows a different error.just be normal with the site like other radio fansites, you dont HAVE to use ajax to completely make the site, ALL other radio fansites just use a heap of iframes, and thats wot im gonna do.and about the port thing, lol dunno, though id gather theyd probably let you.

the real question it, why the hell would you move to a host without php? theres heaps of free host (almost all of them) that support php. i suggest Xisto but if you just want something quick then https://www.awardspace.com/ i used to use it for a while but moved to Xisto.

ive never used a password manager for anything. i would rather just type in a password my self than letting a program do it for me especially since my computer is shared with the rest of my family.

does booting mean from time you turn computer on till its logged on, or from logging on till when the computers actually loaded?mine doesnt take too long, ive never looked to see how long so i cant tell you, though roughly 30 seconds or so.i havent defragmented my computer for more than a year.i started it once in the morning and then that night it was only done 30% so i stopped it.

its localhost. i use localhost for everything on Xisto anyway that needs installing with a database.

robert2411, that site only gives you 1 month of a free 10 man dedicated server. and then during that month you have to try and get 8 more referals. waste of time even looking for a free dedicated server.

thats a nice list of alternatives, although my favourite software company ever is Adobe and unfortunately all their stuff costs alot and they only make it for Windows and Mac.one thing ive always wondered about WINE and never bothered looking for the answer is what does it do about the registry? when a program puts something in the registry, where does it go? does it have a little registry thing, lol.some of the things in that list (the windows ones) ive never even heard of yet ive heard of the linux equivelant for them. i like it how expensive windows programs have free windows alternatives, although they may not be quite as good.

at my schoold they got a heap of new computers, some 1 and some 2 gb of ram, intel vcore or something, and like one of the best graphics cards. but with the old ones they just replaced some of the old crappy ones and put more round other class rooms.although LC (launceston college) were aparantly giving out there "old" computers which were almost the same as the new ones we got but since i dont go there yet (ill be going there for college though) i dont reckon i could have got one.if i did get a server, my parents would complain about the power bill though, lol since it would be on all day every day. can you just keep a server on standby or something? or does it actually have to be like on?
