  6. okAustralian Habbo is undergoing the "pixel blitz" at the momentbasically they are changing it over 2 weeks to make it more how we want. they are giving polll after poll to make it better for everyone. its about time too, lol. theyve just finished 4 hours of maintenance for a new version.
  7. i would try it if only i had visual basici have another program called browser bob which makes customized browsers based on internet explorerits basically internet explorer but with your own look, u can make your own buttons, pictures, borders and boxes, stuff like that
  8. hellfire, its not chatting, chatting is a tiny part of it.
  9. I have a torch that you shake, instead of using batteries!Shake it for 30 seconds and you get 5 minutes of light, lol. It's actually pretty bright!
  10. im not sure if this is wot u want, and im not sure how to do it...but, this forum sends an email when u get a PM. if uve ever gotten a pm then u get an email telling you.jay i gather u no that so yeah.so if thats wot u wanted (although it more than likely isnt) then its possible!
  11. i would love to be able to use it at school. all exes except for what they have installed are blocked, in other words, you cant run your own exes. they are a bit dumb really, they have these programs for development and u cant even test wot youve done. half the programs they have at school are pointless. theyve got flash, swfs are blocked from opening :l they also have this "smart filter" thing, lol, it blocks every site except educational ones...
  12. vista owns xp, lolvista is so cool, and i love aero!i dont really have anything good to say about xp though.
  13. i play habbo hotel alot!although its basically just a chat game, couldnt call it an mmorpg.
  14. i have ashampoo winoptimizer platinum suite 2, loli never use it, i dont see y people use these tweaking and that utilities, wot do they actually do?oh ok now i no wot it does! im not going to do anything with it though.
  15. well... a. i dont get wot u mean by "youth in regards to the boards" b. i didnt no, i only joined on the 6th of june. i wouldnt go round asking if this person, that person is a mod now would i? lmao
  16. i cant see linux ever becoming the dominant os. i cant see it actually known by everyone and being popular.linux seems to be something (no offence) that nerds just like to have a little fun with.its not known enough to ever become dominant.sure theres those people serious about linux and use it all the time (yep i used to for a while too) but ive gone off it and i and most people will probably stick to windows. except them lucky mac users, lol
  17. i love that portable apps suite thing.ive had it for ages, its really good!although i cant use it at school lol, running exes except for what they have installed is banned. OMG its got mac on a stick!!!! how cool is that!
  18. i would just learn c++ first, it does what C does and more.i use dev c++ to compile things, although theres no visual editor. i have another visual c++ editor though, i rarely use either of them.ive gone off programming pretty much and moved on to web development, no need really to no c++ for web development.x/html, php, css, javascript and ajax stuff like that is all i want/need to no.
  19. I use both, for different things.FTP:uploading large php scripts/programsCHMODing files, i find it easier in FTPthats itFile manager:uploading single pagesediting pagesuploading an image or 2that kind of stuffi use the file manager more, it doesnt disconnect all the time easier, and sometimes my ftp client wont connect to my site for some reason.
  20. ive seen 1 terabyte hard drives in catalogues alot lately, usually for around $500 (australian dollars)i would never actually buy one though, not because of the price, that doesnt bother me cos i can afford it, but the fact that its so much space! i would never use it, not even a quarter of it!i just thought of one nice idea for one though, partitioning it into like 10 100 gigabyte partitions and like putting different linux distros or something on them but i dont reckon id bother.
  21. ASP is only for windows, so if u dont plan on using a windows server then you might as well not even learn it.u dont exactly have to ONLY use mysql for a database in php. theres lots of other free ones, mysql is just the most popular and leading database program.
  22. i only ever use live cds if i want to use linux.i have centOS installed on my other hard drive but i cant remember the last time i used it. its not exactly wot u would call a good distro.live cds are a nice way of using linux without having to put much effort or anything in to getting it working, just have to remember to burn an image, not data.
  23. i dont use linux all that much anymore but i much rather KDE over gnome.it seems to me quicker. it also has way better programs and it looks heaps better then gnome!i also like... wots it called... ummmm... xfce or something like that, lol. i think thats wot its called anyway.i hate gnome, its just boring to me for some reason.
  24. woops im sorry if i was being stroppy and now ur angry with me!didnt mean for it to be taken like that.
